Pros: "Flew Frontier on the way to my destination and Alaska on the way home, the difference was night and day. Everything was better, the seats were comfier, the tray table was larger, there was a wifi option, complimentary food and drink, much more professional staff, even the plane noise was much quieter and to top everything off we got home over 30 minutes earlier than expected. Alaska is definitely my new preference."

The gate agent showed up late so it was a hassle to get to the counter and find out where I was sitting. Then there was a long backup on the gang way, and we still couldn't get on the plane. We were delayed sitting on the tarmac for an extra hour, the crew could have given us drinks or snacks then."

I travelled with my small 7lb Pomeranian and he easily fit down below under my seat with plenty of room. The flight is less than an hour so you can’t expect much more than that. Being given no assistance in how you rectify my situation and having to figure it out myself, then boarding the next flight late. Recieving no compensation for the inconveniences United caused me on both of the last two flights I've taken with them."

Pros: "Paid to have more room to be comfortable but the service Wa not overly special. Flight attendant got us a drink after takeoff; then promptly turned off the lights & sat & read her book. I would have had to ring the buzzer to get anything. She didn't even collect the glasses. I know it was a red-eye but she could have paid a little more attention."

Cons: "I specifically bought carry on luggage that meets the standards so that I would not have to go baggage claim as it would weigh heavily on my schedule. As I stood in line and noticed all of the huge "carry on" bags more than 2 I was astounded when the flight attendant said my carry on would have to be loaded with the other luggage. When I offered my rebuke she scolded me and said the luggage would be there before me....how the hell is that supposed to happen? To make matter worse the flight "attendants" stopped serving half way and when they started again I got trapped by the bathroom and did not get back to my seat in time to enjoy a beverage....not that I was offered one."

Cons: "There were several flights departing from Dallas Fort Worth and they couldn't get me on one based on weather supposedly but there's zero rain on the ground they made me pay for a hotel hundred bucks to stay in a Holiday Inn Express end it's not very quaint mind you I don't get to leave and get to my destination until 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon"

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 6 hours so United rebooked the whole flight, however they made no attempt to inform us before we arrived at the airport. We found out when we arrived to our gate to board. So because we did not know about the delay until the time of boarding, we missed all other flights out because it was 8pm and no more flights could take us to our final destination. We did receive a hotel voucher but we had to pay for a taxi back to the airport as well as we had to pay extra for our car that had been sitting in the airport garage overnight. It should have been $2.50, but because it sat in the garage overnight we had to pay $20."

Cons: "We're all aware of the national "glitch" the delayed flights a couple of hours. While our plane was available for an on-time departure (UA1976) @11:35, the crew was inbound on one of the delayed flights (UA1611). United could have known as early as 7:30pm that 1611 wasn't going to make it on time to turn around the crew and would hold up 1976 as a result. Instead United didn't update passengers of 1976 until 11:55 (20 minutes after it was obvious that it was delayed and 4.5 hours after they could have known). Maybe I'm missing something, would love for someone at United to explain it."

Cons: "The flight was delayed. I was told it was due to "weather issues", and that i'd more than likely miss my flight, and that there was nothing they could do about it. I ask the guy to print me some sort of itinerary to show my work, and it shows "mechanicall issues", not weather. Confirmed this with their website. I was told I'd probably be arriving in Seattle around 1-1:30AM. By pure chance, my flight from San Fran to Seattle was ALSO delayed (due to a late incoming flight), so I was able to board my original connecting flight. However, this still put me in a bad situation. I use public transportation, which wont be running by the time I arrive. LooKS like I'll be forking out $50+ for an Uber or Lyft home. Thanks, United. I only ever get delays when I fly United."

Cons: "I felt that mid-cabin was chilly even with a blanket that I had along. Being a former FA, I feel that most flight crews today fail to be aware of cabin temp as it relates to passengers. I realize that we all have different body temps, but cold is cold and uncomfortable!"

Cons: "PHX is a large airport, and my emailed ticket said Brussles Airlines, Terminal 4. First off, Brussles Airlines is not a carrier at PHX, and secondly no one knew that United was their partner. There was no information provided to me to go to United, which was in Terminal 2. After making a phone call to Brussles Airlines, I ended up getting to the check in gate ten minutes after boarding started. It was a lovely rest of the trip after that though! But please include partner information im the email next time!"

Cons: "Called the airlines to cancel only my flight there to SFO but the full reservation was canceled which made me but a new reservation to come back to PHX. Very poorly handled."
