Cons: I found the seats on this Virgin Atlantic A340 flight from LHR (London Heathrow) to LAX (Los Angeles), an eleven hour flight, to be unacceptable. The seats were very crowded. I am six feet tall, and was very uncomfortable all during the flight. I could not sit with my knees together. I had to spread my knees to sit comfortably. Holding that position for eleven hours was very uncomfortable. Anyone taller than me would have even more trouble. Also, every seat has a very large box underneath, I presume for the audio/video system. This is a terrible location. There is very little room to stow anything. But much worse, I couldn't straighten my right leg. All-in-all, I found the seat situation totally unacceptable. I will likely never fly Virgin Atlantic again because of this.

Then the pilot said that our bags are usually weighed and computerized for even distribution on the plane. That system was also down, so we sat on the runway waiting for that problem to be fixed. When we arrived at Barcelona, I unpacked and discovered a jacket and pants in my luggage were wet. The only place that could have happened was at JfK during their rain storm and the luggage weight issue.

Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. This practice was discriminatory and violateed our rights for privacy, We even felt that it could put our security in risk. I believe that one thing is not to allow clients to choose seats in advace because they bought the ticket through a third party website, and another thing is to discriminate an treat those clients as "second class" people. When I asked the person in the counter for the reasons behind this practice, she could only say it was Delta's policy to do it that way. In that sense I was very surprised with the practice because i bought an Airfrance ticket (not a Delta one) and I had travelled before in both airlines (Airfrance and Delta) and I had never experienced a situation like the one described. I strongly believe that Delta needs to review this practice.

I will try my very best to avoid Turkish Airlines in the future. After taking many long haul flights in my life, I can safely say that this was my worst and most disorganised travel.

Cons: Stuardess service is very poor. For a 13 hour flight I would expect to have more than 2 beverage visits. Also, I ended up taking my requests to a first class stuardress since the ladies in coach didn't respond to me. I was also appalled to have my connecting flight delayed for over 24 hours without proper notification.

Pros: Crew were lovely. I did request a window seat at check in and the clerk said she had done it, however I was stuck in the middle of two people 16J so it was a very uncomfortable flight.
Cons: Two babies screened the whole way to Los Angeles I was ready to kill them. Babies on long haul flights should be strapped to the wings. it was ridiculous/annoying. No vegetarian option on the flight to LA which would have been nice. However the food is really good and I loved the eggs for breakfast.
Pros: I love how there is wifi on the long flights,great movies,food taste so good and the crew is so nice and helpful. I've tried Turkish Airline few years ago and since then I haven't changed my airline and I book with them to all my family :)
Cons: I always fly with my dog and he goes with me down by my feet so this could always be uncomfortable cause it's tight and not much place so I wish they give a little better seat for people who travel with their pets on board.

Cons: The flight was cramped with no room to get comfortable. The crew was concerened with it being an overnight flight and rushed through service so that the lights could be turned off on the cabin. They ran out of a food option and forced a selection on everyone in the back of the plane. The person sitting next to me even had a dietary restriction and her meal had been given to another passenger. The boarding process was a mess without clear directions from the staff, it was a giant mob trying to force its way onto a plane.

Pros: I loved the complimentary Turkish delight and all the food provided. Not only were meals served on shorter flights, the food itself was very tasty. The crew was nice, if somewhat aloof, but everything was provided without having to ask. Pillows, blankets, and headphones. They also gave us these wonderful pouches with slippers, eye mask, toothbrush and toothpaste, and chap stick.
Cons: Flight was cancelled with NO NOTIFICATION. I learnt about it when i reached the airport - 3 hours before departure. And there was absolutely no one from Lufthansa available - innperson or on phone.

Cons: It was not clear this was a no-checked-baggage flight, seeing as I specifically searched with flights with luggage. I chose Lufthansa's flight counting on the fact that international flights always allow one checked bag. I had to pay on that way here. I"ll have to pay on the way home.

Although we initially had two hours for the connection we were not informed or warned by Lufthansa about the distance from our arrival gate to the gate for our connecting flight. Further, we were not worn ahead of time that we should have built in additional time in our connection because in order to go from Munich to Valencia we would have to go through customs in Munich rather than at our designation. Delayed flight arrived at 9:30 AM and we ran from the H gates to the Shuttle terminal to reach the K gate Desperately trying to make our departure time of 9:50 AM. There were no instructions for passengers on the flight trying to make connections regarding the distance between gates or to be prepared to go through customs. Had we known that we would not make the flight in anyway shape or form because our flight out of DC was delayed by 2 1/2 hours, we would not have a rushed to try to make the connecting flight. Ultimately we were rerouted through Frankfurt and arrived in Valencia eight hours later they are intended time

Cons: Frankfurt airport: Had to walk for an hour to get from gate to gate. I was getting off an international flight and onto another international flight. International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric.

Pros: The flight AMS to MEX was smooth, very helpful personnel on board, we enjoyed a bit more space and the seat seemed a bit more comfortable.
Cons: Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy.

Pros: On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!

Our original flight plan had 4 hours. so, because we are a family of 7 with a baby, we had to buy a hotel room to rest, costing us a lot of extra money we had not planned to spend. We contacted KLM for help with the cost but were rejected. We also lost 5 bags somewhere between Chicago and Lusaka, but after 2 days, we received them.
