Apparently JetBlue has a quota to meet as to how many people they charge for carry on luggage. 2. Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

Ding I struck a light bulb and they said yea why not. After a few phone calls later I was walking with my bags through TSA. It took me to think this up for Delta. A minute too late was the original response from the first agent. 1 minute! Not 10 not 5 she said the computer just got locked out. I was going to miss my flight for 1 min time restraint. The first agent didn't care and just blew me away. Thankfully the next agent tried. I had to throw away all my toiletries because TSA wouldn't let them through."

I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

We were sitting at the original gate for 2 hours only to realize they never called us to board. By the time we got to the correct gate, we were not allowed to board the plane because they said we were late. The plane left at 5:00 p.m and we arrived at the gate at 4:50 p.m. They informed us that we had to purchase new tickets which cost $370 per person. There were 4 of us. After arguing with the Aeromexico representatives and supervisor for over 5 hours and having them check their flight boards they admitted to making the mistake so they changed our flights without charging us, but now our flight leaves the next day at 6:20 a.m. and we will not get to our final destination until 4:15 p.m. So, we have to spend our night sleeping in the airport until our morning flight at no fault of our own. Their customer service is the worse and I've never ever had this kind of travel experience with any other flight. I am fed up, tired, and will be reporting this airline for fraud because many other customers have had the same experience. Never again will I travel with Aeromexico and Kayak should be ashamed to partner with this airline."

Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them."

Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."
Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

I had to actually call American and spend time with a Representative providing all the data to be able to get my American Airlines flight booking code so I could check in online. American as always was great! Shame on Kayak!"

I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

When I got on the plane I saw plenty of space AND when I got to Bogota my bag wasn't there. My carry on had my most important belongings for in case other luggage was lost. It's not faire that other passengers get to carry on suitcases and a personal item and I can not being my small backpack. It's very inconvenient since my rain gear, my shoes and my Phone chargers are in that bag."

We were very stressed and felt like we were not treated professionally. Anyway we finally got our seats back and the rest was better."

I sat back and watched as the mob tried to board asking each other which group was boarding which no one knew. When I got up to board I asked and was told, "I held up two fingers". Personally I think using the intercom would work much better. I was thinking this was just a one time deal, however they handled it the same way on the return flight. This was the first time I used American, so I do not know if this is their standard policy, but this issue and a long list of others will make me think twice before I use them again."

Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

I asked a flight attendant to stop this abuse after I was bumped in head a number of times by a kid that was jumping across a row a seats in front of mine ,the flight attendant told me that I should tolerate this abuse because it was from a kid,then proceeded to tell me that if I did not want to go throughout this abuse ,I should fly in a private plane. I felt irate at such response from a flight attendant and responded that I will never fly Iberia again. I wanted the attendant to talk to the parents and ask them to control their kid from abusing the adjacent passengers.I felt the impulse to talk to the crew chief but decided against it simply because I would do them a favor if they listened. Truthfully I think carriers with such attitudes deserve to go bankrupt and I hope they do."

Our luggage missed the flight to MIA and we were told it would be delivered to our house the next day between 7pm and 8pm. it never showed. I called customer service and they could not tell me anything. Horrible experience"
Cons: "Madrid to Tampa... Got the nursery. Lots of crying babies... must be immigrating to the US. Why don't they put all people with babies at the rear so the rest of us can nap? Not IB's fault, the customs at Miami came to a halt for an hour. 2000 people standing in line, missing connections. There was a shift change, most employees didn't show up for work. was told 'It's a special day'. Fortunately I was at the head of the line. A few of us were routed to someone who was surprised to see US citizens. As a consequence, the always slow MIA failed to transfer my luggage. Still waiting for it... Air travel is such a pain these days. I'm sure more would fly if it wasn't such a hassle."

I have a condition on my leg and i cannot run, so i walked really fast through the airport and I was so happy to see that they were waiting for my delayed flight... which is very unusual. Thank you!!!!"

I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."

Pros: "I booked a trans-Atlantic flight through Kayak. Flight out of US was direct from Tampa to Gatwick. Return flight was Direct from Madrid to Miami and 4 hour layover in Miami to Tampa. The booking was advertised as a British Airlines flight, although operated by Iberia and American on the return. I found the comfort of the accommodations, food, and service in business class to be on par with, or better than, competitors'. We especially liked the entertainment/communication system built into every cubicle - good sound, lots of good movies and shows, and great screen quality. The multicourse meals had good options and were fresh tasting."
Cons: "The Madrid leg of the journey, operated by Iberian Air on route 6231, destroyed the goodwill earned by British Airlines. Iberian Air delayed our departure from Madrid for technical difficulties, which I understand is the risk in air travel. When Iberian Air finally cancelled flight 6231 it became obvious we would miss our connection flight home in US. I began contacting the airlines for rescheduling/reimbursement requests. British Air sent me to a customer service line which rang busy for 4 hours straight. Iberian said they were sorry for the inconvenience but they could get us a free snack at the snack bar and book us on the next connecting flight in Miami (which was 45 minutes after the flight we had missed. It didn't matter that customs procedures in US would likely overlap that leg as well. American Airlines (the operating partner in the US) advised that either Iberian or British Air would have to reimburse for a new flight. I ended up just renting a car in Miami and driving the 300 miles back to Tampa, after 24 hours of air travel and missing both the connections. The upside is that Kayak was prompt in sending electronic updates from the airlines notifying of the delayed flight time/need for new seats/flight cancellation. Iberian Airlines never even changed its online flight status for the original flight which it cancelled."

Pros: "The team in both Rome and Madrid to went above and beyond. They were polite and empathetic to our situation, which was not Iberias fault. And they went out of their way to get us home on time. They always stayed positive. My family of 6 really appreciated. They have earned our loyalty."
