I brought this to the attention of Kayak/Aeromexico and the flight appeared to changed for our entire party of six. When we arrived to depart from Akron-Canton there were MAJOR issues with Delta acknowledging the change on their end. We waited at check-in for an hour and half before this was resolved. This also happened when we left Cancun and almost missed our flight. Our daughter also had to put on stand-by in Atlanta due to this fiasco. We spent another two hours working with Delta customer service trying to get her a seat on our flight back to Akron-Canton. Had we not been to Cancun airport extra early AND had our flight delayed in Atlanta we would have missed both flights. This was without a doubt the worse experience we have ever had!! It should have been caught and resolved before I ever had to get involved. I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service offered for the tickets we purchased. This was extremely stressful for my wife and kids and tarnished our vacation. This was totally and completely avoidable!!! You can and should do better to service your customers!!"

The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

I was breathing hard & perspiring heavily from my sprint to my connecting flight. I was SUPPOSED to have a 1 hr. 45min. layover."

Had we left Cancun on time we would have made it to the gate prior to he already on time 20 minutes for our connecting flight. They are terrible and don't own up to their mistakes. It's not a choice I will have to make to fly them again, they will be out of business or bought out for the equipment within 6 months. Especially after their last quarter hit on Delayed Travel costs to their bottom line."

Cons: "Flight was late by an hour. This then caused us to have to wait over 2 hours on the plane to be able to get off. US customs was backed up with flights that should have arrived after us. This caused us to miss our connection. The connection time for us was 3 hours and we still missed that flight. They then suggested that it was not their fault and that they would get us on the next flight on the next day at night. We decided to get our money back and bought a ticket with Southwest Airlines instead. They lack in taking responsibility for their mistakes. Their employees don't care and continue on as if nothing is wrong. Our whole flight missed each and every connection. we are all here with Southwest ready to fly out in a couple of hours."

I don't see how I could have made that mistake so please tell me if I did purchase a round trip ticket. To make a long story short, I had to purchase a new ticket on another airline in order to get home to Atlanta last night. Please communicate with me as soon as possible and clarify this mess. After a week ling honey moon vacation with my wufe in cancun, we were blessed to listen to 5 twenty something year olds discuss there latest and greatest bar hoping technique, drunkin excursions, and sexual escapades. It was honestly embarassing and at the same turn i purchased the upgraded seats to be away from non sense on the plane.. Those 5 stewards made my wife and i feel like we were sitting a bar poolside back in cancun on the strip. Not only that but these 5 stewards stayed in the very front of the plane, by my seat, talkin and eating their lunches the entire 90 minutes flight. Had this flight been longer than 90 minutes i may have actually said something to these vwry unprofessional new comers. Spirit airlines need to do some serious management control and better vetting of employees.. Will never fly spirit again. Seirously a very sad representation of their airlines."

I get the pay for what you use, but $55 per carry on and $50 for luggage and only up to 40 pounds where other airlines are 50 pounds. Would not fly with this carrier again, JetBlue or SW are much better options in this market."
Cons: "What should have ended as a blissful trip to Cancun ended as a disaster in Fort Lauderdale. Even though the flight attendants knew that the NY flight had been cancelled, they did not notify any of the passengers. There was plenty of time for this announcement, since the plane was on the tarmac for at least half an hour. Following this ordeal, the rebooking ticket line and phone service lasted for four hours. We were told that the first available flight out was three days from today. This is horrible customer service and we will not be flying with Spirit airlines in the future."

Cons: "General ticket prices are so cheap because the airline doesn't openly broadcast their policy about carry on and checked bag fees. These are more expensive than any other airline I've flown with. I've never heard of an airline charge for carry on baggage which was very disappointing to say the least. This flight was a basic "no frills" trip, meaning that you get the bare minimum snacks, with a tiny seatback tray that isn't even big enough to hold an iPad. Won't be flying with Spirit Airlines again."

I have travelled abroad a few times and understand that customs can take a while, but the employees from Spirit that were trying to organize passengers entering customs were completely clueless about what they were doing. We ended up missing our connection and had to spend the night where we were. The only thing that was offered to us to help pay for the hotel was a voucher for the most expensive hotels in the area. Not only that but our carry-on bags cost us $200 for the entire trip, so make sure you take bag prices into account when flying with Spirit. Overall this was a very frustrating experience."

And now I have to take THREE flights just to get from Florida to Colorado today. Over the course of 13 hours. No help with a hotel and very little consideration. If you don't figure out how to take better care of your fliers in these situations. Then they won't ever fly with you again. Costing you more than it would have costed to help with a hotel. But it was nice flying with spirit when I did! Thanks! Never again."

Pros: "The flight was smooth and a great landing. Any snacks or food are additional fees. Flight was short as it was from Cancun to Fort Lauderdale. Seat was comfortable, it doesn't recline however. And because of immigration lines were too long they had us wait in the airplane for 1.5 hours, not spirits fault though."

Cons: "I don't mind the bare fare, a-la-carte pricing. Its different but once I understood it, I could manage. On my flight to Ft. Lauderdale from Denver, I witnessed a male flight attendant being exceptionally rude to every person passing him while entering the plane. He then proceeded to belittle and talk down to each customer he talked to about moving jackets and correct placement of personal vs. carry on items. There was plenty of room in overhead bins once the plane was loaded. This flight attendant, talked to people as if we knew have rule he did and if they didn't he became aggressive and rude. At one point an older gentleman in his late 60's questioned what the rude flight attendant was saying and the attendant snapped. He screamed at the man and then threatened to have him removed for challenging what he said. I was afraid to ask for water or to even stand up because of how your flight attendant responded to an honest question. I have been flying for 30years and have never experienced such vile behavior on an airplane. The male flight attendant had brown hair was around 6ft tall, not big but not in good shape and wore glasses. I hope that he never is able to threaten people in flight again. The atrocious behavior i witnessed, has me never wanting to fly with spirit again. On the way home from Mexico, our flights were timed 1hr apart but yet it took 2+ hrs to go through customs. Do to this poor planning on behalf of spirit, we missed our flight and had to spend another unexpected night in Florida. I incurred charges for taxis, hotels, expensive food and missing work. When I spoke with spirit staff members they refused to help. One suggested I should pay money for a new flight. Its took me 5 employees to finally find someone who offered to fix the flights for the next day for no extra cost. I was offered no compensation for my inconvenience and time."

All in all will fly Spirit again except for heading on long trip like Cancun again. Other airlines have better deals and one just has to grab them."

Pull down trays are almost useless, and seats were very uncomfortable with minimal leg room. Crew were very nice, sad that food and drink has to be purchased. Plane loaded and was on time, would fly Spirit again, but not my major airline. Water and soda isn't that expensive when purchased in bulk, and nice for your customers to have drinks available. Glad that I had purchased juice prior for my flight home. Your Website and availability to speak with a live person, leaves little to be desired. Not user friendly and for many seniors who are not comuter proficient could be an issue. Was unable to fly direct or even with 1 stop that was affordable. Left Cancun at 11:50 amand didn't get home till 1 AM. 3 legs Baggage rules are unreasonable, another reason for not purchasing gifts of plates, bowls or anyting that one could carry on with another airline."

Cons: "The seats are not comfortable - after a 2 hour flight my butt fell asleep, and no way to shift around unless you are willing to be rude to the people next to you or in front of you, since you're packed in like sardines. Have to pay to reserve a seat even though you have already paid for your flight, unless you want to risk not being seated next to your travel partner. Drinks are more expensive than at the airport bar, and the "bundles" only save you a couple bucks. Bags are really expensive (even prepaid), and the threshold for checked is 40lbs instead of 45-50 like most, so since I was 2 pounds over, I had to pay an extra $30 on top of what I had paid for the bag already. No wifi, so bring a book or laptop/tablet with movies loaded on it, or some other entertainment. The initial fare pulls you in for looking super cheap, but after you add bags and seats and all that, it's really not much cheaper than a Southwest flight. I'd rather pay the extra for a more comfortable seat, wifi, and no stress on whether I packed the wrong clothes that will raise my bag weight that extra pound."
