Our transatlantic flights with stop-over in Iceland went smoothly. WOW Air does not provide any food or drinks (not even a glass of water on a six-hours flight!) for free. While this is known and by booking this airline one decides to accept these terms of non-service, not known to us was that we would be facing a complete failure in terms of customer support. On the trip back, one of our suitcases was damaged by the airline (wheel was torn off the suitcase), the other suitcase was not to be found. After arrival, we filed a complaint with the WOW desk regarding the damaged suitcase and were promised a reference number the same evening via email to follow up on the claim. We never received any communication from the company after that. Thus, the airline did not take any responsibility for the damage and made it impossible for us to follow up on our claim. As to the missing suitcase, none of the WOW staff at the airport was able to help us trace the missing luggage, not the day of the arrival, not the day after (when we returned in search of our checked bag). We were given multiple promises at the check-in counter that the issue would be taken care of, cellphone and email information was taken down, no communication ever ensued. Only thanks to our own internet investigations were we able to find out that WOW Air works with a subcontractor at the airport (apparently unbeknownst even to the airline staff), whom we were finally able to contact and who, indeed, produced our missing piece of luggage at 10 p.m. the day after arrival. In sum: I would warn everybody to book this airline. It is in the end not worth saving perhaps $100 on a transatlantic flight if you have to put up with utter incompetence and carelessness as a result.

The price was literally 1/2 any other airline. The flight was good, crew was attentive, and airplane was clean. Food was an additional expense that I did not do.

Because of how cheap the flight was, the plane was pretty packed. Lots of folks decided to do carry on, so overheads filled up quick.

We liked the fact that it was a non-stop from Iceland to our home in Baltimore. The plane was clean and seemed fairly new.

The seats were the most closely spaced that we have ever had the displeasure to experience. The flight crew was very, very attractive, but lacked the warmth and friendliness of a typical American-based crew. This could be a cultural thing ( I believe they were Geeman-based), but it was quite noticeable.

I like how u could purchase items from the catalog that was on the plane...

Delay at the airport was the only issue besides paying for sodas and peanuts.... NO onboard movie unless u rented an iPad for $60

Snow storm cancelled dozens of flights. I was told I couldn't be rebooked at the airport and needed to call in. Spent 6+ hours on hold. Following day was informed at airport that I couldn't be rebooked by customer service and was given no further options. I bought a ticket on another airline. I'll never fly WOW again.

Unfortunately WOW Air was the worst airline I've ever flew with. Every single person at different airports (Baltimore, USA; Berlin-Schonefeld, Germany; Reykjavik, Iceland) told me different things when it came to claiming the luggage. I ended up over-paying for it. Additionally, my boyfriend's luggage was lost and he didn't receive for two weeks! I will never fly with WOW Airlines ever again.

Crew is always fantastic and helpful, even when dealing with grumpy entitled passengers who didn’t bother to read the airline details and are shocked when they discover nothing is free.

KEF really needs to enlarge their airport if they’re going to market tourism

The price was literally 1/2 any other airline. The flight was good, crew was attentive, and airplane was clean. Food was an additional expense that I did not do.

Because of how cheap the flight was, the plane was pretty packed. Lots of folks decided to do carry on, so overheads filled up quick.

Crew were good.

Seats had less leg room. Had to pay $25 to use a Wow Air iPad to watch a movie. No Wi-Fi available. No complimentary snacks or even water.

The flight crew are lovely and professional. They worked very hard to ensure a comfortable trip.

The airline does not serve any drinks or snacks free of charge. They do not disclose this information prior to flight. The seats had electrical plugs but they did not work on any of my legs. The flight attendant confirmed that they did not work and were not going to be fixed.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
