Not a very family friendly airline. Staff were lackluster and plane comfort wasn't amazing. Would avoid Delta if better options available. Especially for a red eye. And double especially with kids.
The boarding staff near the gate were awfully rude and unprofessional. From my flight to MSP , as well as my flight from SLC. They were speaking to each other in their own language and it seemed like they were talking about people who were boarding on the plane. Completely unacceptable. However, The crew member of the plane were all nice.

Timelessness could improve greatly. And for a coast to coast flight, the food options were very limited in my opinion (goldfish, 1-pop, and only water after that).
As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between.

Would be better to limit the advance boarding to people who need extra help and a single program. This leads to the question, why are there so many different programs? Wouldn't it be easier to have a single loyalty program? If you don't qualify for advance boarding because you did not purchase a first class seat, or you haven't reached the advance boarding requirements, you don't qualify. Let's start thinking about the customer again, and less on the profit margin. How would one of your executives feel if they had a boarding Group 2 and 85% of the plane was already boarded by the time your group was called, thereby limiting the space for your correct size carry-on? One more thing that would be beneficial, enforce the size limit for carry-on luggage. I have been to airports that limit the size with a box on the x-ray machine so you can not even get an oversized piece of luggage through security. Just one idea for the industry."

Each flight attendant referred het to the next, so she is walking back and forth tor their amusement. Tears rolling down her face, finally an elderly passenger helped her. Then the staff gave her attitude the entire flight. She may appear healthy, but she was cut from her neck to her waist and had two rods inserted along with bone grafts. I just cannot believe how awful she was treated."

This was my last flight on American Airlines and I will be sure to spread the word to my friends and family that you have become too unreliable!!"

My family in Arizona didn’t have a printer to print our return flight tickets, so I took a screenshot of our tickets on my phone. Apparently, when you go through security they enlarge the QR code, which makes it blurry, so it can’t be scanned. We had to go back to the check in desk and pay $5 for each ticket to be printed. Lesson learned, print out all flight tickets before you leave.

The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Very thankful that they did allow me to change departure locations to another airport at no charge. That flight went well, even arrived early."

So I cancelled and only then did I find out that once I booked it through their site I could not get a refund for the car and I could only get a voucher for use on one of their flights! And only after they take out any fees and costs that was accrued! So angry!"

Cons: "The gate people were horrible at explaining the delays and then trying to set up alternatives. Quick tip: offering "free water" when your flight is delayed 1.5hrs so several people will miss their flights is not enough."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 2 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight to Indianapolis. Went to the service desk to re-book, and nothing could be done to get me out in time. Customer service was not great. I was flying to see my daughter graduate, and the only time they could get me out was when the graduation started. No hotel vouchers were given for the delay either, so the airport bench ended up being the bed. So I ended up being stranded in Newark for an additional 8 hours to just miss her graduation."

Cons: "One hour delay, no microphone to hear what the desk staff was actually announcing, desk staff were also completely unprofessional. Made my connecting flight by less than a minute thanks to SPRINTING through the airport because of the delay - a less able bodied person would not have made it. Overall ridiculous and dissappointing"
Cons: "The fligjht diidnt happen. I double booked the flight. But when I tried to adjust it I wasn't allowed to without crazy fees. This was after an agent told me that he would wave the fee. Their not on the same page and they do not honor what you're told."

Cons: "Overall horrible experience round trip. Issues with the planes caused delays leaving and caused my flight home to be cancelled. Flew American home. Will never fly Intied again. EVER!"
Pros: "Plane was filthy & disgusting! I asked the stewardess for a towel to wipe down my table that was covered in sticky gunk, she just handed me a Wet One. Passengers table next to me was the same. My checked was only 3 lb over the 50 lb limit. United actually made me take 3 pairs of dirty jeans out & carry them with me in a Target shopping bag! Ridiculous!"
Cons: "On at least one leg of my trip both two and from my destination the flight was late. As if that wasn't bad enough, twice the plane was over sold and people had to be removed to stay and catch a later flight which in turn made the plane even later. Many people either had to run to catch their connection or missed it all together. Several of which had small children. I fly about half a dozen times a year and this was the worst of the year."

Cons: "On the express smaller planes you have to gate check your rollarboard suitcase which is fine but if your in first class they dont have a separate tag from economy class so i got my bag last even tho i was in first."

Cons: "GA called for all "people with disabilities" to board first. How about simply asking for people who need a little extra time...PWD's is a bit of a label that doesn't work for me. While we were boarding the white female FA made a snide comment that maybe passengers should not bring more than one bag. She was also rude to the other FA."
