Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Crew was very attentive and professional."
Cons: ". The economy seats on the Lufthansa A350 were extremely uncomfortable and seemed excessively narrow as well has having cramped legroom. I could not get comfortable let alone sleep, and my backside felt like I had been sitting on a park bench rather than a long haul coach airline seat."
Cons: "the entertainment kept cutting in and out on itself, and i was listening to classical music and it simply didn't work to hear anything whole. annoying but not critical"
Cons: "I was at the end of a long flight, so exhausted and feel sea sick. I cannot give good comments for this since it was short but a little bumpy flight , i almost throw up at the end."
Cons: "Food and seats"
Cons: "The plane is still on the run way waiting for a gate & I’ll miss my shuttle bus to my next stop. Darn..."
Pros: "Crew was amazing."
Cons: "Nothing everything was great!"
Pros: "It was really nice having the bassinet for our little one."
Cons: "My wife encountered a rude attendant after simply getting up and asking for water."
Pros: "Food and crew were terrific."
Cons: "Security at Frankfurt is particularly laborious"
Pros: "Standard flight and comfort."
Cons: "Food was absolutely beyond horrible...and the crew would run instead of walk down aisles to wherever their dedtination was."
Pros: "on time."
Cons: "No WiFi, seats had no cushion"
Pros: "Flight crew and food was wonderful."
Cons: "My sun glasses were stolen out of my luggage !!"
Cons: "Food quality"
Pros: "Good customer service"
Cons: "Seat was not comfortable and food was not great"
Pros: "Flight, crew, arrival were good"
Cons: "Security in Frankfurt was overwhelmed, so we were transferred to a set of security gates which is very far from the A gates. Had to take 2 slow elevators (no escalators!), go through the underground walkway connecting B and A sections and finally walk to one of the outermost gates to board. We were bused; our bus waited next to the plane for quite a long time full of people and without AC. It was a very unpleasant experience."
Pros: "Overall good experience just smaller plane so seating not as comfy as on larger planes and quality of food typical airline food. All staff were helpful and courteous and flight smooth and easy"
Cons: "Break between the 2 flights of mire than 6 hours."
Cons: "The food is not very good"
Cons: "Flight was delay for almost a hour."
Pros: "Crew was hospitable and flight was clean."
Cons: "We paid extra to have a bassinet as we were traveling with a baby. The entire row (a family) behind us was very sick, coughing, sneezing, and blowing their noses the whole flight. As we were concerned for our daughters health, we asked the flight attendants if we could lmove to the bulkhead that was open at the front of the plane. They wanted to charge us $500 EACH to move, even though the seats were open. One of the flight attendants even commented how terrible it was for our baby to have a row of sick people behind us, yet they refused to move us. Fast forward, our daughter ended up getting sick during our trip to Florence, and now my husband is sick. As such, we’ve had to miss out on things during our vacation. It would not have been difficult to move us to empty seats in the front of the plane, so we could use the bassinet we paid for. This small gesture would have made our flight and our trip much better."
Pros: "I managed to get a seat in economy class upstairs on the Airbus A380-800, next to the window. Each window seat has a locker to stow all your in-flight stuff in and there is lots of legroom. I was impressed - that's saying a lot for a Boeing-lover. Crew was very attentive and always available."
Cons: "Boarding could have been better organized."
Pros: "Crew was very friendly"
Cons: "The food was not that great"
Pros: "On time-well organized!"
Pros: "Flight attendants are great"
Cons: "I don't like the Star Alliance. Due to where I live and where I go, I have to use the United/Lufthansa combination. If I book with United, I can't select my Lufthansa seats until 24 hours before my flight. That means I end up in the back of the plane in the least desirable seats. If I book with Lufthansa, then I can't book my United seats. I have booked with United and paid for economy plus, then find as I board, the Lufthansa flight doesn't have economy plus."
Pros: "I like flying with Lufthansa. It is one of the best airlines to fly with but a bit pricey."
Cons: "The food was not good at all. For a flight that cost so much, the food could be better."
Pros: "The crew were very friendly and I liked that they always kept us hydrated with drinks. Before I even left on the trip I called the airlines several time with so many questions and the staff that I talked to each time were so friendly and helpful with all the questions that I had."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like is that the boarding process was different than what I was used to. I usually board by zones and this time it was more of a everyone got up at the same time and everyone rushed to the front of the lines and some people would push me out of the way to get in front. ( even though we all had assigned seating) Second thing was that I had asked for a wheelchair for my mom and I had seen one waiting outside and was about to walk up to it but another person was limping up to it and put her stuff down on it so I didn't know if it was for my mom or her. I didn't have the heart to go up and make her move if the wheelchair was for my mom so we ended up walking the whole way to customs. I felt bad for my mom afterwards because her knees ended up hurting by the time we got to customs. I would suggest holding up signs of individual names for who the wheelchair is for. Other than that everything was great"
Pros: "I received a surprise upgrade to Business class. The flight crew was very attentive and flight was easy."
Pros: "Attentive crew. Smooth flight!"
Cons: "All good"
Pros: "The staff was professional all the way from check in to boarding to flight attendance ..."
Cons: "I liked everything .. everything was done professionally."
Cons: "No checjed in luggage allowed - i did not know that when i bought it!"
Pros: "a good place e excellent crew"
Cons: "the plane is arrived over time and I less the fly to turin"
Pros: "E-mail notification on change of gate"
Pros: "On time arrival and departure along with crew attitude and general high service level."
Pros: "my favorite airline"
Pros: "We often fly on Lufthansa and highly recommend it!"
Cons: "There was no movie..."
Pros: "This flight was handled professionally and things went very smoothly. I don't have any complaints."
Cons: "They cancelled my flight and I spent 7-8 hours on phone trying to resolve."
Cons: "This Air Canada flight was operated by Lufthansa and was cancelled due to the strike. So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family."
Pros: "Crew was very nice - liked flight tracker - personal tv's - food was good. Boarding was good -"
Cons: "Seat in economy are just to small - need to be able to recline a bit more for a 9 to 10+ hour flight. So close together it was hard to eat being in the middle seat. Movies and music need to be updated -"
Pros: "Helpful ground personnel - seems like this connection issue happens often"
Cons: "Leaving Frankfurt late....hanging around airport waiting for a rebook"
Pros: "Entertainment selection was good"
Cons: "Seating comfort was *horrible*! Looks like they've made the seats more cramped, especially when the seats recline"
Pros: "The crew and in flight experience were excellent."
Cons: "Both Lufthansa and United's boarding announcements fail to account for passengers' impatience and neglect of boarding group procedure. Lufthansa doesn't clearly identify when un-prioritized groups should begin to board. United should make clear that unspecified group members attempting to board prematurely will be held to the back of the queue for their appropriate group."
Cons: "At too high"
Pros: "Everything was excellent except breakfast from joke to Fra"
Cons: "Breakfast one choice including ham which unrespect to Muslims"
Pros: "very roomy seat for a small plane."
Cons: "Boarding occurred from two doors which caused long delays because people had to try and get by each other in the narrow isle. If they want to use two doors to load the plane they should at least direct the passengers that have seats at the back to go to the back and vice versa."
Cons: "The seat was broken and did not recline. Old plane. Dirty."
