Students with an F-1 or M-1 visa and their F-2 and M-2 dependents, if they arrive from or have been in Ireland, the UK or Schengen Area in the past 14 days.
All travelers, 2 years of age or older (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have a proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding the plane.
Travelers must complete a disclosure and attestation form before departure.
Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers arriving in New York State must complete the Traveler Health Form.
Travelers arriving in Massachusetts must complete the Massachusetts Health Form.
Travelers are advised to get tested 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for 7 days after travel. Even if they test negative, they must still stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days. If the test is positive, isolate to protect others from getting infected.

They hurriedly put it on the board, and then told me that the flight was cancelled due to the hurricane that they knew about at least 48 hours before, but still told me the flight was on time 12 hours before it was due to leave. Terrible customer service! Did not even offer to find an alternative for me! No help at all. This airline should not even be offered by you. I booked in March for a September flight because it fit into my itinerary, however the flight times changed dramatically 4 weeks after I booked which became a hardship as well. No one should ever book this airline...it's so called super saver only baits you, then charges $45 for a carry on and at least $6-8 for a seat, I can't say enough about how terrible this airline is. Everything from start to finish was awful."

Cons: "The plane was listed as departed 45 minutes ahead of the boarding time to start, causing a bit of chaos. Following boarding the plane 15 minutes late, we were delayed in departing from the gate to fix a maintenance issue in the hydraulic system. In our first departure from the gate, the issue arose again, and the plane had to return the gate in order to undergo an hours worth of maintenance and another series of tests. The flight time was anticipated at 2 hrs and 36 minutes prior to the initial take off, and ended up taking 2 hours and 54 minutes. All of these instances together make it hard to justify the cost of the lowest fares there are. If you fly spirit, just keep your expectations really really really low"
