We finally deplaned and waited for a new plane. Got to Kona at 2:00am. The air temp was warm the entire flight. Had to endure a grumpy crew. Not the best flying experience. I know you can do better. Maybe look at how Hawaiian airlines does it and you might get some inspiration on how to improve."

The female crew members, a dark haired woman and a short blond haired woman both would have ignored me if the other two people seated by me did not also try to get their attention. The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

AA automated messaging services called me to update me regarding my itinerary change when my 1st flight was delayed and provided wrong information which lead me to attempt to board an incorrect flight causing confusion and frustration."

Cons: "The flight sat on the runway for an extra hour and a half before we took off, causing me to miss my connection flight in Charlotte. Thankfully there was another flight two hours later, however I didn't arrive in Providence until midnight. The real problem was that the connection was delayed to leave at 8pm. We arrived in Charlotte at 740ish. Ran to other side of terminal to reach connection. They already had the doors closed and refused to let us on. There were at least ten passengers who were delayed as well and couldn't make it on the flight. The customer service assistant at the gate was horrible. She didn't pay any attention to us, as we were all out of breath (clearly trying to make the flight). Another gentleman stepped in and put us directly on the later flight. If American knew that there were so many flights delayed, they should have held the other plane a bit longer, as well as helped us out immediately. Not impressed."

First time it happens. Have flown several times in First/Business Class from Miami to San Juan and it has been a totally different experience."

Cons: "Everything else. People, don't be fooled by the low prices - it is not worth it. Avoid Frontier like the plague. Flight from SAN to MCO was cancelled, rebooked 14 hrs later. We were 6 min past curfew leaving SAN and they returned us to the gate. Crew made no effort to hurry. They were ignorant or indifferent. Leaving MCO a week later flight was supposed to depart at 9:00 PM and was delayed 3.5 hrs and then cancelled. Next available flight was 24 hrs later. Frontier apparently only has one flight out of MCO daily. I had to book with Delta to get back to SAN within reason. I will never fly on Frontier again."

Cons: "The only problem was that it was an overnight flight and about two in the morning members of the flight crew gathered at the back galley and began to talk and laugh rather loudly. Not only did they wake me up but they woke a little girl who began to cry loudly for some time. Perhaps they did not realize their loudness because they were friendly on and off the plane, but it was rather frustrating."

Pros: "This was our first time using Frontier and we were skeptical because of the low fares. At each step along the way we were glancing at each other and waiting for the other shoe to drop, but were very pleasantly surprised by the end of the trip to have found nothing wrong or hidden. As a person who has flown regularly for over 40 years on both budget and full service carriers, and had always enjoyed it up until the late 90’s, at which time I really began to dread going through the entire process; this was a really pleasant surprise. On our way home in the car after our return, both my wife and I agreed that this was the first time in years that we didn’t have any complains about the experience and that we actually had mildly enjoyed it. Maybe that was just a lack of pain. At least on this first time using Frontier we got more than we expected. I think if you take the time to understand the business model the first time you book and you follow the booking process; the seat and baggage selection choices and the check-in procedures, you will get a good bang for your buck. We did upgrade some selections but even with that, we were still way under the next carriers fare price point. Maybe if we had not taken the opportunity to upgrade during the online booking process it might have been a different experience. This flight was two round trip tickets from Cincinnati to San Diego. The first part was a non-stop and the return was a one-stop in Denver. All three legs were on an Airbus 320’s. On all three legs we had isle seats in the first 6 rows (2C/ 2D, 3C/ 3D and 6C/ 6D). We don’t care about, nor expect frills; we only want to get there and back comfortably with good value fares; and that’s what we got."

You can choose to carry-on bags, for a price. The table trays are now called "traylets" because they are so tiny. Forget about putting a normal sized laptop on them. In-flight food and beverages are available, for a price. Gone are the days of fresh baked cookies on each flight and free water."

Also On literall all four flights we sat near the back since they offered one seat that was 0$ the others were $9 each flight. On all the flights the staff joked loudly talking about their weekend or what they were going to do. I understand being social but keep it down. We are traveling and exhausted. They kept waking my children up with laughter. On top of this. They misplaced our baggage for 24 hours. Ok yeah not such a big deal except when you were going to drive two hours away and going to need bathing suits and things in your bag. They ended up refunding the $50 luggage charge but did not refund anything I had to purchase ....."

Cons: "The airline charges for everything from carrying a bag on which just about every other airline does not. You have to pay to pick your seat, if you are flying with a friend or significant other you will not sit near each other unless you pay. There are no snacks or drinks offered other than water, you have to pay for any snack or juice/soda. You have to pay more to get seats with a normal sized food tray, otherwise you get a food tray the size of an iPhone. Seats do not recline. Will never fly frontier again"

Cons: "I'm very disappointed that you have to pay for a carry-on bag AND the fact that it wasn't mentioned when I was buying my ticket. I had bought my ticket before the carry-on fee went into effect so I wish I would have received an email about the change or my fee should have been waived since it didn't exist when I bought my ticket. I was disappointed when I was checking in and found out I had to pay for my carry-on bag"

They charge you if you want to pick a seat next to your spouse. $40 for a carry-on Red eye flight, no pillows, no blankets, airpline was freezing cold. ."

Cons: "We were told at first that the restroom at very front was reserved for the crew. When I asked an attendant if I'd understood right, she indicated I could to ahead and use it. I appreciated this, but the little room was dirty and stunk very bad. A relief to leave it! The charges for luggage (carry-on or checked) seem high, especially since you don't offer ANYTHING complimentary except water."

Cons: "The inexperienced personnel at the check in at Pittsburgh terminal who messed up my boarding pass, didn't have that I paid for carry on on the pass, this caused me further problems in Denver. Please train your people better."

Cons: "We booked our flight to san diego with a short layover in denver. 2 days later they canceled our original flight and put us on a slightly later flight, which would make us miss our connecting flight in denver, so then they gave us a 7 hour layover in denver, we had planned on having dinner in San diego, but ended up getting to our hotel at 3 AM. They would not let us cancel our reservation and they promised us a $50 voucher, that never came. very subpar, and with the state of air travel these days that's saying a lot."

Cons: "Had to pay even for my carry on, in the end the flight wasnt as cheap as i thought"

Pros: "The planes did seem a bit newer than some of the planes with other airlines."
Cons: "The fact that Frontier charges for both checked luggage and carry-on luggage is enough to make me not want to use this airline again in the future. The food and drink options on the plane are also ridiculously overpriced. If Frontier were to price their in-flight food and drinks they would make a lot more money as budget minded people like myself would actually buy an item or two as opposed to refusing to buy anything at all. Overpricing food and drink items and charging for checked and carry-on luggage also has the added negative effect of me never wanting to use this airline again in the future. I will also actively dissuade friends and family from using Frontier."

Cons: "I'll never fly Spirit again. They sent me three emails about the flight being delayed TO San Diego and then boarded ON TIME. They didn't want to let me on the plane, even though they never paged me nor did they change the departure screen in BWI. I kept knocking on the door while the stewards looked at me while they were on their phone, dismissing my plea to be on the plane. The plane left an HOUR late... but wait! The lady at the counter was going to rebook my flight and then someone called and told her they needed to let me on the plane because they hadn't even refueled yet. So she begrudgingly let me on the plane... but wait! She forgot to scan my boarding card, so do you know what that means? I was MIA on that flight. Not only did they not have a record of me on the flight (thankfully nothing tragic happened), but they canceled my return flight from SAN to BWI. So after a lengthy phone call to get rebooked, they delayed this flight twice and then just canceled it. I had to go to the counter and beg to be put on another flight. And then they offered me a $50 flight credit. For what? Because I want to fly Spirit again? Um. No."

Cons: "Shysters of the not-so-friendly skies! As a loyal #AlaskaAirlines customer, I hesitated before buying tickets on Spirit from San Diego to Vegas. After finding an online "deal" for Spirit, maybe $100 less expensive and a convenient flight time, I bought them. Spirit should be heavily fined, if not shut down, for their dishonesty. Upon check in, there was a surprise $55 fee per checked bag and $100 FEE PER CARRY ON bigger than a purse EACH WAY. No cash was accepted at the check in, gate or in-flight. This was not a problem for us, but felt bad for any person who forgot theirs. Once on the plane, Spirit charges $3 per water, soda or juice (inc $3 per refill). Cheap snacks started at $3 per small courtesy size though $7 per "luxury item" of cup-o-soup noodles. Icing on the cake of poop experience was our airline server. Shocked in to tears of laughter, the woman with the beverages walked up and barked "what do you want?!" To our row. I asked to buy the Moscow mule. She said, "where is your card? If it is not out of your wallet now I am going walking away. Other people want drinks and I don't have time for you to get out your wallet!" LOL!! I gave it to her, then she barked a similar rant at the nice people sitting next to me. NEVER, EVER will I fly Spirit again. The charges alone are so dishonest but the service is awful too."

Cons: "Really late departure without knowing why. We were left unsure if the flight would take off and given the option for a refund or get on the next flight the next day"

Cons: "It was not clear to me that a carry on would have additional costs. I would not have selected this flight had it been clear. The difference in aditional costs between airlines makes a tool like kayak somewhat misleading"

Cons: "Trying to book some luggage online failed due to the website.,Then called the customer service center and ended up paying 207$ for the flight (2 people) but 340$ for two checked items and two carry on items. Even after explaining I had the 'Uh Oh' mail showing the Spirit website failed... Flight left late, plane was very dirty (disgusting stains everywhere). Not flying Spirit again."

Cons: "Instead of telling everyone to call the customer service phone number for a refund, they told us that we needed to get a refund in person at the ticket counter... this caused a lot of unnecessary chaos."

Pros: "Went smooth and without delays, definitely will flight with Spirit again."

Cons: "Canceled flight for no reason. Only was notified on my way to the airport. Got stranded and very inconvenienced. Worst airline ever and I will never use Spirit Airlines again."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing. You have the absolute worse customer service. You are an offensive company who cares nothing for its customers."
