I would have picked up a bag mover if I had any idea. Since I did check-in on line, I could have gone directly in terminal 1 if I was told. Cons: "This 6:00 am flight consistently leaves the gate more than 10 minutes early. The ticket counter shuts down promptly (and in some cases even earlier) 40 minutes prior to departure. If you don't have your boarding pass in hand, you are out of luck even though the ground crew is about 10 feet from you and can see you through the glass. The airport clocks at Lewiston airport are all 3 minutes slow, except for the clocks in the TSA area which are all 5 minutes fast. Reported to the airline and to the Airport manager, Robin Turner, who was extremely condescending and rude to our party, even though we were trying to pass on information that the Airline employees had complained about the issue for months."

My son had to use the bathroom quite a few times and my 1 yr old was asleep the attendants helped my son walk to the bath and walked him back to his seat! I tried giving AA a chance, but compared to when I flew on WestJest two months prior for almost the exact same trip (I flew to San Francisco versus San Jose that time), WestJet was by far more superior in terms of customer service, boarding organization, and friendliness. First of all, what bugged me profusely was the lack of seat selection and the crazy pricing for certain seats. On WestJet, the emergency exit seats were available without any additional cost, yet AA was charging $66 USD to sit there. Furthermore, seats closer to Business class also carried a charge of $25 (or something like that) - ONLY because you get to board sooner. I would understand if there was extra legroom involved, but really, it's just a matter of sitting and getting off before anyone else. If anything, those seats should be given to passengers who have tight connecting flights and need to get off asap. even in those cases, you shouldn't be charging someone almost $30 just so they can make it to their next flight that YOUR company arranged within such a short time frame. But the most annoying thing about my trip with AA was the fact that I had to take out all of my belongings from my carry-on and carry them in my arms because there was no room left in the overhead compartments. Excuse me?? How is there not enough room? So I had to walk with my laptop, my iPad, my Beats headphones, my laptop and iPad charger, amongst other things, in my hands to the aircraft. Thank goodness I found a plastic bag, because otherwise I probably would have lost something expensive on that plane. Furthermore, as I walked to my seat, there was most definitely places that I could have stowed my carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments. You shouldn't let people put things like purses and bags of food in the overhead, when those can be stowed underneath the seats in front."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled just as we were leaving for the airport. We had to rebook on another flight which then was delayed 4 hours. Since this was a much longer than we were planning on being at the airport, we had to eat at the airport while waiting for our flights. It was expensive and not good. Then our connection was literally 20 minutes. Very tight."

Cons: "People don't like surprises. Charging extra for seats, charging extra for luggage resulting in jammed overcrowded overhead bin space are not good ideas. United seats are smaller more cramped than your competitors making for an uncomfortable flight. Flight had no in flight entertainment or ability to charge mobile devices"

Pros: "The crew was very nice and helpful. They saw I am a large person using a crutch for my foot and upgraded me to business economy with an empty seat next to me. The plane was only about half full, so this was easy for them."
Cons: "The in-flight entertainment had an annoying habit of pausing frequently to buffer the movie. I tried to pause it purposely to gain buffer, but to no avail. Because of this, I was unable to watch the entire film. I chose the length to be well below the flight time, so the lack of closure was annoying. There are not enough chocolate choices in the snack menu."

Cons: "The computers were down in SJC so everyone was waiting in line to check in and drop off luggage. It was a very long and slow process, but staff were friendly and professional even with difficult passengers. The thing that bugged me was they kept telling us not to worry and that the flight would be delayed so that we all could make it. I was the last one on the plane and I know there had to be at least 10 that didn't make it in time. I think the flight was only delayed by like 15min or so. I don't think they should tell people not to worry because the plane will wait for them, when it didn't wait for all. I get it that you want to also please those in the plane already and those waiting at destination so I'm not upset. Just giving feedback."

Cons: "I am Asian who was not allowed using restroom located in the front of airplane close to the 1st class cabin, but people sit next to me can. I feel insulted."

Cons: "my first flight was delayed so when I landed I had to run to the terminal to see if I can Catch my second flight I was worried my whole flight because I thought that I was going to miss the second flight and that my vacation was going to be delayed. Luckily they had not taken off and I think that they waited for us thank God and the crew"

Pros: "The seats were very comfortable. I was in the last row and was lulled to sleep by the engines."
Cons: "I had to check my second bag because they had no room for it in the bins. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I got to take it for no charge, and didn't have to lug it through the sirport."

Cons: "The delay at the end of a long day kicked our butts. United's communication via boarding agents, the United App, etc was terribly delayed and unacceptable. Not having pilots in place to fly the plane was unacceptable. We will find an alternate airline in the future if possible."

Cons: "Flight attendants were very unpleasant, when they were handing out the little snacks bags the guy threw mine into my seat instead of handing them over to me. Also the plane was filthy and there were dirty Q-tips in the seat back pocket in front of me that I had to look at the whole time"

Cons: "Seating is much too narrow and much too close together. My knees were against the seat in front of me."

Pros: "Sitting in first class made the trip a breeze. The seats were extremely comfortable and the snacks were great!"
Cons: "I had an infant with me and mind you he's an amazing traveler but I still seemed to get dirty looks from the flight attendants. The wifi wasn't working and they had to reset everything."

Cons: "I did not fly on the flight I booked."

Pros: "Nothing good to comment."
Cons: "It was 4.5 hr delay due to late inbound crew. Once boarded we still waited 30 min waiting on more crew to board. Particles fell on my head during flight. Landing was hard and scary. Horrible experience."
