Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again ."

This was my single major complaint. The food was not great but typical of an American Carrier. The foreign airlines do better on food. The last time I went to Europe I took WOW, the cheapest budget Airline and the leg room was MUCH better. You would think Delta could do better."

Gate agent in SLC complained she was the only one there and could not help. Tried to send me tohelp desk which would have made me miss my flight. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

Pros: "The flight attendants made the safety briefing extremely lively and personal, a wonderful break from the normal tedious process. The rest of the flight was quiet, uneventful, and pleasant in part due to their good nature. I cannot have gluten or soy, and I was brought a complimentary bag of potato chips that were gluten free - the one and only time this has happened! I hope to fly with this crew again someday."

Pros: "Over all was okay, but when we all boarded the plane, they last minute said the pilot would be late, and delayed our flight for almost 2 hours. We were almost late to our next flight in Minneapolis to Raleigh which was also pretty upsetting. But, the service was decent, we didn't order any food besides the free complimentary drink & snack and the entertainment was very good. There was a wide range of films, shows, and podcasts to watch."

Cons: "No entertainment on the plane at all. Also no food. We had breakfast that day and that was it. There was no time to get some food during the stopover in denver, so we ate nothing until 9 pm that day. Employees were kind of rude too for no reason."

Cons: "Everything is am upcharge! Food, bags, seats... they even charge for all beverages and ask for a tip on top of it. The seats don't recline and tgere is no entertainment. I will not fly Frontier Airlines ever again. What a disappointment."

Pros: "The security line to the Frontier concourse was unbelievably long, and even though Frontier knew this, it insisted on closing the plane door right on time, at 10 minutes before departure, even though 6 non-related passengers were going to miss the flight. If they had kept the door open 2 extra minutes, all 6 passengers would have made the flight. Ultimately, the plane left 10 minutes late, so 20 minutes after the door closed. I've had enough of Frontier's inflexibility and will gladly pay a higher fare for a different airline."

Cons: "THe flight was delayed by close to two hours, but more surprising was the amount of extraunexpected money we had to spend for basics-close to $30.00 each to "pick" seats, $130.00 each for baggage (yes you have to pay for any luggage beyond one personal item like a purse), money for food, etc. There are not even basics on the lfight such as blankets, and the seats don't recline. Overall, not an airline I would choose again as the "bargain" price turns out to be full of hidden costs that weren't clearly explained upfront"

Not to mention that the size of the trays was completely useless, in addition to chair is not reclining at all. And no legroom whatsoever. We felt nickeled and dime did every turn paying the highest fees for baggage of any airline we've ever traveled, on top of only being able to bring one carry-on, and having to pay for any kind of beverage or snack on the plane. The staff was neither friendly or rude, I would say ambivalent. I don't normally leave negative reviews – but I will avoid frontier in the future. ( I apologize for the typos – I have dictated this on my phone, and the system is not allowing me to correct them. )"

There was a open row and my friend and I traveling together just asked to sit there together since no one was in the isle at all.. After sitting in a small airport waiting for a flight for 7 hours I would have expected more welcoming service.. SO I WAS STUCK FOR TWO DAYS WITHOUT MY THINGS ON A BUSINESS TRIP. THE AGENTS WERE RUDE IN BOITH ATLANTA AND CLEVELAND. HORRIBLE FLIGHT. HORRIBLE AIRLINE."

Cons: "Put you in a seat that does not recline while 4 seats in the exit aisle go empty, even the window seat that opens the door. When asked to move stated, " you have to pay extra for those seats". Good old Frontier."

Cons: "I had a very unfortunate circumstance during my flight where the child next to me got sick and was throwing up. The mother was helping him while i paged for the flight attendant. As she approached I signaled to the child and asked for towels to help clean him up... She looked utterly disgusted and returned with 6 paper towels. When I explained that's not good enough she rolled her eyes and brought back another stack. None of the attendants offered any sort of assistance or guidance for the mother and were more than unhelpful. It was a shame that not only was I, a paying passenger the only one helping, but that they also gave attitude like the situation was something that could have been controlled... This was my first flight with Frontier and I will be sure to pass along how rude and unhelpful their staff is."

Cons: "Their pilots had been on strike for days. They kept us waiting at the airport on my return flight for three hours before telling us the flight was cancelled. They should have started rebooking us on other flights as soon as we got there. By the time they cancelled the flight all the other airlines at the airport were closed. They told us they couldn't help us and we would have to call their 800 number. I was on the phone for 3-1/2 hours on my outgoing flight and didn't have that much time for this flight. They didn't care at all about their customers. In the end it cost them more because they put us up at a hotel for the night and gave us a meal voucher."

Cons: "I paid extra for the extended seat which was great and also due to the fact that I had the row to myself. I have sat in regular seats and they are VERY VERY short and uncomfortable"

Pros: "Clean airplane."
Cons: "I feel cheated and deceived. A checked bag costs $50. A carry on costs $55. If you don't realize this before you go the gate it goes from $65 to $100. The counter crew was rude, and the boarding crew in Cleveland was shaking down passengers to be sure they were not "cheating", stopping the boarding process to check passenger receipts. Getting an assigned seat, an extra $15 per person. And there was absolutely no leg room for that extra $15 (which I paid for). These costs should be shared upfront - basically every ticked is $50-$65 more than the website shows. I will not fly this airline again."

Pros: "The flight arrived on time"
Cons: "Our granddaughter's stroller and car seat were not available to us at the gait and we were directed to collect it at the baggage claim area. These two pieces had not arrived in the baggage claim area as well. Therefore, we contacted the airline representative in the lost baggage office. We spent close next two hours trying to locate the missing pieces to no success. We were provided a substitute car seat for her and as we were a minute from our destination in Solon, we received a phone call that those missing pieces were located (we don't know where in the airport) and delivered a couple of hours later. It just speaks to the incompetence of the Spirit airlines staff. I do not think that we shall again fly Spirit in the near future, nor shall we recommend it to other family members or friends."

Pros: "Friendly, efficient crew. Arrived to destination ahead of schedule. Very affordable ticket price."
Cons: "No frills at all - try to upcharge for everything: bags, food, seat selection, etc. It is definitely a budget airline."

Cons: "I hate being nickel and dimmed. I paid 330. ++++ to get to California. I did not have to pay for my carry on , but did because I did not want extra expenses once I got to the airport. I was told my carry on would have qualified as free but could not get a refund on the flight home. I work in service and I found your stewardesses rude as well as most of your ground crew."

Pros: "The flight attendants were extremely friendly and hilarious! They kept us entertained all flight long and were very helpful to everyone."
Cons: "The employees working at the ticket desks were VERY rude. They refused to print my boarding pass, and instead made me leave the line and go to a kiosk to print the boarding pass and bring it back to them. What exactly is there job other than checking in luggage?? In addition to that, I had a heavy bag (knew this beforehand), and was scolded regarding the weight. I was told that the next time I fly, I should "leave a lot at home." It's a shame that I enjoyed my actual flying experience with Spirit quite a lot, but I will never fly with them again because of the ticket counter employees."

Pros: "The crew was pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "We were late in boarding, then once on the plane delayed for a long period, due to "computer issues" the announcement said. There is no entertainment on board...no movies, music, etc. There are also no free snacks or drink. I flew without a carry-on, because of the charges for extra baggage."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 3 hours for a broken toilet. Then after three hours they ended up taking off without bro repairing the toilet anyway"

Cons: "Worst flight attendants ever. We were in the front of the plane. It was a red eye, and they were extremely loud and disruptive the entire time: slamming doors, talking loudly, and refusing to turn down the bright lights. Absolutely terrible."

Pros: "Angie was great. It left on time and arrived early. Flight attendants were spectacular. Spirit should train United employees on customer service"

Cons: "It was very cramped, the seats were not recline, I had such an awful backache, it was hot, not nearly enough leg room without upgrading, If the seats were just recline a little bit I think it would be OK"

Pros: "This is the 4th time we've flown Spirit and our 4th great experience. All the flights we've taken have left on time and arrived on time. This flight actually arrived 15 minutes earlier than predicted. What I truly appreciated was the Pilot letting us know it was going to be bumpy and why, and what he was going to do to try and minimize the inconvenience. An added bonus, a genuinely funny stewardess explaining the safety features. It's one of the few times I actually listened to the instructions carefully. She was applauded at the end - well done! I fly Spirit to get safely from point A to B and I don't mind at all paying for the extras - that way I get what I want, not what someone else thinks I should have."

Pros: "The tickets were cheap but now I know why! Never again!"
Cons: "We literally paid 50$ to check our bags in, that's ridiculous. We had a 6 hour flight and the chairs don't even recline. I'll never book a flight through them again."

Cons: "I like nothing about Spirit airlines. For starters, Spirit stresses that you print your boarding pass ahead of time or you will be charged $10 to speak to an agent at the airport. (Wait, isn't that the agent's JOB - customer service?) Imagine my surprise when I arrived and then had to wait in a line to speak with an agent to check my bag. This is a terrible airline. It really is not cheaper than others when you consider paying for your bag (to check or carry on), that bag can only weigh 40lbs max, paying for WATER on the plane, paying to choose where you sit. Its absurd, really. The seats on the planes do not even recline. Good luck using the tray table for anything other than your $5 cup of water. Its the smallest thing I've ever seen. Choose another airline."

Cons: "It can be uncomfortable the way a bus is. If I didn't bring my own entertainment and expectation of sitting upright the whole time, it would have been a very long flight."

Pros: "When I dropped my checked bag off, spirt personnel answered all of my first time flier questions with a smile and precessional answer. They also switched me from a middle seat to an isle on my overnight! The flight crew was very professional and chipper on the overnight flight!"

Pros: "Cancelled my flight to cleveland offered me new flight 2 days later staff was not accommodating had to find my own flight back next day at 3x the cost they refunded me"

Pros: "Excellence service! The electronic check in was great and easy. The people I talk to on the phone more than willing to help. The hostesses on the plane smiled friendly accommodating. On time pilots and great take off and landing"

Cons: "Poor organization. Long lines because of fog delay in the morning. Waited more the an hour to just drop my luggage off. No Spirit employees to direct you on which long line you should be in. Had to rush through security. Then they where playing gate roulette. Changing gates constantly but not changing boards so no one knew where they needed to be. Delayed because for some reason we had no crew. Then finally an hour after we were supposed to take off they cancel our flight due to weather. Clear sky in florida and weather was fine in cleveland. Then long lines again to try and rebook and get luggage."

Pros: "Spirit staff was very helpful."
Cons: "Equipment problems caused a significant delay."

Cons: "My flight was delayed 3 hours. Supposed to leave at 9pm, but instead leaving at 12pm. I arrived at the airport at 10:15pm to check in and no one was at the counter to check me in, nor anyone at the security gate because they had closed down for the evening. I was not the only passenger that was left standing alone. I called spirit and they were no help. I missed my flight, and I wasted $400 dollars. I don't understand why no one would be there if it was there fault that the fight was delayed. Not my fault. Needless to say, I will never use Spirit again and I will make sure anyone I know, never uses them either. I called Spirit later and requested a refund, and I still have not seen this. I am highly disappointed and angry."

Pros: "The flight was on time and the crew was friendly. That's about the best you can hope for when flying Spirit."
Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable and a flight doesn't even include a cup of soda or peanuts. It cost over $80 to check one bag (more for a carry-on), even when checking in online and in advance (it would be $100 to do at the airport). Be sure to add that extra $100 to a ticket price when you're comparison shopping unless you can fit everything you need for your trip into a small backpack-sized personal item. Someone was sitting in my seat when I tried to board because he didn't like his, but that isn't the airline's fault."

Cons: "The flight crew left an overhead bin open during takeoff!! And it was over an exit row. This airline is pathetic in so many ways. Minimum $3 for anything to drink, even water?? Seats hard as a rock. Aweful experience"

Pros: "Smooth flight. Gave us free water and a tiny cookie for the 4+ hour delay (some of which was on the plane waiting to take off)."
Cons: "Insane delay on a holiday red eye flight. Pilot blamed the airport very unprofessionally. Of course, the seating is small. When flying spirit, they charge for everything, including picking a seat with your group. They charge for carry on (made clear on their website). Insanely cold. Seat was not clean."

Pros: "No redeeming qualities shat so ever. The only good thing I can think of is I have enough time to switch my return flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 5 hours with no explanation. Charged for a small carry on even after the delay. No attempt was made to rectify the inconvenience. Customer service associates lied and said we would be compensated for our inconvenience. Low fare is off set by charging for eveything from luggage to peanuts. 0/10 would never recommend"

Pros: "It sort of seemed like we might be saving a little bit of money by going with Spirit. It turned out to not be true."
Cons: "Price wasn't that great. Charged $50 for a carry-on bag at check-in. My brother was charged $50 for his as well. Now we're up $100. Didn't have seats on our tickets, so didn't know where we'd be sitting. Tons of babies on the plane. 2-hour delay before take off. We rushed so hard to get there on time, then literally sat there forever. Flight attendants not nice. I bought two beers, they forgot the 2nd one. Seats didn't recline. Airplane was making a terrible noise on landing and taxi-ing. I will never fly Spirit again."
