Cons: "Only pretzels. Would prefer additional options - on other flights they offer peanuts or cookie. When you have to use your own device to watch the entertainment, you use battery. If battery dies before movie ends, too bad. In today’s cell phone world it would be nice to at least have USB charging available- cheaper than inflight screens!"
Cons: "The aircraft was full and they had a nonworking lavatory. And I asked the flight attendant that the lavatory was broken and he told me no there was somebody in there and he lied."
Pros: "Check in was super easy. Seats are tiny. The screens on the backs of the seats are annoying, with nothing worth watching."

Cons: "The crew at the gate was really rude. Zero customer service. She raised her voice at us and another customer who was charged $50 for our carry on. Not only was the flight delayed for over 2 hours. We were not informed that we could not bring a carry on even when we were at the main entrance with an agent for over 30 mins when you entered the airport. All their staff needs new training everyone kept on giving us a different answer. We asked because of this delayed will our room be comp due to the fact we will be missing our connected flight. On the phone the agent said yes. When we got to the airport that agent said no. When we got on the plane that agent said no. When we landed in Denver that agent comp our room. We ended up booking a room making sure we had a place to stay at night. It created more work for us because we were trying to cancel our room took even more time. Definitely wanted to give United the benefit of the doubt that they were at least at the level of American Airlines. The last time we flew United it was delayed for 8 hours they ended up canceling the flight. When we called they said it was the weather and we told that agent it's mechanical issue because we are watching someone remove the engine. We will stick to American Airlines. Free entertainment."

Cons: "Frontier charges for everything including carry on luggage, seat assignments and beverage service. That's disappointing because I'd rather just pay a little more for the flight than be nicked and dimed."

Cons: "seats do not recline even a little... charge for carry on, ridiculous to pay $40-45 for 3 days of clothes for a funeral and to pay both ways then wait at the terminal when I had things to do......... paying for a sip of soda...again ridiculous..... MY BODY HURT SO BAD FROM THE LACK OF CUSHION IN THE SEATS the tray tables are a joke as well, my IPad didn't even sit on it, I had to hold it on all 4 planes for the trip. We were delayed at each end of the trip, 3-5 hours each time."

Cons: "Having to pay for a seat and baggage after buying a ticket. I got an earlier standby Delta flight on Friday so I skipped the first Spirit flight (which ended up being delayed anyway). On my flight back to Denver today, I found out in the terminal that my entire trip was cancelled because I missed my original outgoing flight. I was never notified of this cancellation through email or phone call. I was then asked to pay another $200 for a one way ticket back to Denver. Luckily I was able to fly standby on Delta again instead. Never flying Spirit again. Terrible customer service as well."
Pros: "Nothing. I was treated so poorly I walked away from their customer service and bought a ticket on another airline."
Cons: "I was 5 minutes late over their 45 minute required check in window. So they cancelled my ticket. For $100 they offered to reschedule me. And for another $50 they would check my bag. On a different airline I paid another $100 and got a complete round trip ticket, about 10 minutes later."

Cons: "I arrived at the terminal three hours early, connecting from a non-Spirit flight from Central America. Spirit employees wouldn't check me in, saying they were too busy and I need to wait, but no worry, there's plenty of time. Asked again later and was told to check in online. Checked in online and was told (after the many upsell screens) that I couldn't print a boarding pass and needed to go to a Spirit counter. Went back to the Spirit gate and they said I hadn't checked in so they gave away my seat, and they didn't have another flight until tomorrow. Did I want it? Nope. Bought tickets on a real airline. Will never, ever travel with Spirit again."
Cons: "The seats are cramped and on the way back, they canceled all flights back to Houston, causing us to pay an extra $600 in order to get home to work on Monday."
Pros: "Absolutely ridiculous policy on making me go to a different terminal to get a boarding pass. Every other airline in the United States can issues electronic boarding passes these guys blocked me out 1 hour and ten minutes before the flight and said I had to go to terminal E counter to get boarding pass. I was at terminal A. Because I did not have boarding pass I could not enter through terminal A and use skylink I had to take the bus instead. That took 25 minutes. Then when I arrived at counter they said the flight was closed. And even though it was 25 minutes before boarding I was out of luck. The rude counter person said I should have been there 3 hours before the flight and now all they can do is reschedule for another day and it will cost an additional $100. Fortunately there were about 10 other people in a similar situation as mine and it became overwhelming for the counter people and they started issuing us tickets. This caused 10 of use to rush to security yelling we only have 10 minutes to get to flight. Fortunately all the people in line were understanding and TSA did the best they could but it still took time and probably stressed everyone out at security including TSA. This was just a money grab by Spirit airlines. Any other airlines an electronic ticket would have issued to my phone and I could have entered security at terminal A, caught skylink to Terminal E for my flight and been at gate 30 minutes before departure. This ridiculous policy of locking me out over an hour before the flight caused a great deal of stress to myself, the spirit counter crew, the TSA, all the other airline passengers waiting at security, and all the other spirit passengers who were gamed by Spirit airlines moneygrab. I intend to file complaints with Better Business Bureau, FAA, and Homeland security. This was totally unnecessary chaos!!!!"
