Cons: "They changed my seats without telling me, even the day before my itinerary said I was in the first row of First Class by the window with my partner's seat right beside me and they switched it because of some policy that forbids dogs yet couldn't let me know that in July when I booked this and spoke to a representative on the phone to confirm I was even allowed to bring a dog on board. And even then they made me feel like it was not possible and had to stow my dog below in cargo because only one dog could be in the First Class section, and again I was never told that in that moment I couldn't have my dog in the first row. Also, the representative was very clear I had to have a health certificate for my dog to fly and not only did that cost me a large deal of money and time at the veterinarian's office, but no one ever even inquired to see it. I wasted time and money for no reason other than the incompetence exhibited by Alaskan Airlines, and it's surprising to have such consistent subpar service. Especially when you're paying for First Class. Also, your food on flight had several allergens in them. Even your choice of cookie for passengers had two different types of soy. This is a common food allergy. Needless to say, I'll be flying with another airline for my trips to Alaska, as this is not my only one planned."

Cons: "My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up."

This caused some problems for some who had schedules to meet, and rides to be notified. The airline needs to see this possibility sooner so long waits are avoided as much as possible. The 737 was not as comfortable as the regional jet on our first leg of this trip."

When I went up to the counter, the lady told me too bad, she couldn't ask someone in an isle seat to switch, but I could do it myself if I wanted. My daughter is 2, can't exactly sit by herself. Food service didn't begin until almost 2 hours into a 3 hour flight but it was in no way due to turbulence. After food service, no trash service came around until about a half hour before landing. Slowest moving crew I have ever seen in my life. Also, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I will never fly Alaska again."

After several delays, they started boarding us at 1:00am, but the boarding process so messy and confuse, the plane couldn’t took off before 1:40 by 1 minute and they had to cancel the flight with 200 people inside the plane. An absurd! Flight was rescheduled to today at 10am and obviously took off 1h delayed because AA can't organize simple things to expedite the boarding process."

Eventually the plane cooled some once we were airborne but stayed too warm. It got very hot once again when we landed."

WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! If the flight is late you stand a very good chance of missing your connection, as I’m betting happened to over half the passengers on this flight. Cons: "United airlines employee Mearle at the check in counter was extremely disrespectful, Rude, and arrogant towards everyone in line at the counter Trying to check in. Many customers including us waitted in the check in line for 35 minutes or more while Mearle proceeded to chat on her cell phone (personal call), and taking a break leaning the check in counter while everyone waited on her so she could assist with check in. Finally the passengers in front of us voice their concern to mearle stating that everyone is going to miss theirs flights if she didn't assist us all right away. Mearle responded by snapping back by saying "it's not my fault that united keep us understaffed and pay us enough to care " then laughed and walked away again. At this point we realized that if we did not get immediate assistance, that we would surly miss our flight. I walked in front of the line on behalf of everyone standing in line and reiterated to Mearle in a firm tone that she insisting check in the remaining 12 passengers immediately. Mearle snapped back telling me to "worry about my own self and don't tell me how to do my own job". Feeling very stressed out And worried about missing my flight went and stood back in line again. A few moments later I over heard Mearle tell the passengers ahead of us " you're too late. You've missed your flight" these passengers became very upset with Mearle telling her that she's the reason they missed the flight and Mearle laughed and said out loud to everyone else in line.. "you all missed your flight. You all should be more responsible next time and get here earlier" and then Mearle walked away never to be see again. Many of us missed our flight which caused many of us to also miss our connecting flights. We immediately called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Then we were forced to drive three hours in traffic to LAX where we caught a later flight and barely made it to our destination in time for our work event. We swore that because of Mearle and her disgusting behavior that we will never ever fly united again (and I fly a lot for my job) and since that horrible experience with Mearle two months ago, I've flown on four trips spending over $2300 dollars and every flight has been booked through American Airlines. Do to Mearle's bad attitude, disrespectful personality, and poor representation of united we will never do business with united again. We suggest united airlines remove Mearle from Having any contact with the general public as we are sure that Mearle is loosing customers for united at a very rapid pace."

Because United delivered us to Anchorage so late, we had to spend so much money on the hotel and next day flights. Until this point I have always been happy with United but I don't think we can go with United anymore after this."

Cons: "Had to reschedule my flight due to delay. The non English speaking ua agent put me on stand by at another airport without me knowing it"

Cons: "The fact that the tv is on constantly without the option to turn it off is annoying. The viewing length to passenger is too short to really enjoy (Probably not your fault). PLEASE permit us to turn it off. The constant repeating of the Dish commercials while in dead air space is so annoying I will never consider Dish as a provider.! Please play more than one entertaining video than repeating the one about alligators (crocodiles?)."

Pros: "Smiles and service"
Cons: "Limited leg room"

Pros: "Flight once in the air went well. Service was fine/uneventful"
Cons: "Many delays and flight changes. Swap from 1 overlay of an hour to 3 overlays of about 5 hours. Really makes planning trip post flight travel a pain"

Pros: "The convenience of flying from a small airport more than compensates for the fact that it is a smaller plane. Because it is a small plane, the service is much more adroit and responsive."
Cons: "No complaints"
