Every country had a little different process for boarding and getting around - most had friendly staff, on point, helping clueless, stressed, & frustrated travelers. I was really disappointed in Atlanta, not a very welcoming or helpful spirit for visitors to US - not all (80% were awesome), mainly those trying to greet and direct through customs. Most hate the arrogant America anyway, don’t make it worse - put your best people on the front lines to help with international relations & show why the US is the best. Put those that don’t want to be here loading bags out back! Sorry for the lecture, but this is any business!"

It was almost always and grunt and what do you want? The personal device entertainment was very buggy. the movie I tried to watch kept skipping, like on old scratched CD."

Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Then it came back on again but only at half the volume. Nothing was mentioned about it by the captain or crew so I spent the rest of the flight wondering if the engine was going to give out part way through the flight."

The RUDE woman (poor English) with assisted boarding then the RUDE man that changed my name and my luggage he chose to send to Dayton OH -never been there in my life and he "dug" thru my luggage - as if he was searching for MONEY or GOLD -he pulled out a protein drink and I asked him to hand that to me so I could drink it as I am a diabetic - he shouted at me "I THROW AWAY'. During the two hour delay I could have used it !! Poor service I will fly American from now on !!!!!!!!!!!"

Had to make my own arrangements to complete my trip at significant expense to myself and 0 assistance from Airlines."

Cost me my time and money which I could have avoided only if your ticket agent checked my passport properly knowing about my international flight. Very disappointed."

Four bags were claimed and with 1 bag (blue) left the flight attendants asked us 3 more times "whose bag it was?". When no one claimed the bag one more person from United came down the isle holding the bag asking everyone one last time. I heard him say "I was told to do this". At this time 4 more people boarded late. I thought after a certain amount of time boarding would end?"

Pros: "There were hundreds of us in O'Hare during an ice issue. I got out 20 hours later by flying standby on a bigger plane to a city 279 miles from my airport (and my car and luggage). What was edifying during those very tiring 20 hours was this - no one, United or we passengers was rude or disrespectful. Were we (staff and passengers) all worn out and tired and frustrated? You bet. Everyone kept an attitude of acceptance for the 20 hours I was at O'Hare. Very impressive - civilization has a bright future."

There was no kiosk for check in, the crew was not helpful prior to checking in, multiple occurrences where a group member was stopped for no reason by airline crew member, there were at least two seats that were duplicated on the airlines part, there was a delay on the flight due to over booked seatings, seats did not recline, no phone charging services."

Pros: "They gave me a free checked bag! When I took out my credit card to pay for it, he said "No, es un regalo (gift)." How nice for a budget airlines!! May have been due to the holidays, but Volaris just charged me MORE for a bag during the holidays. We boarded on time and landed early. Our baggage came fairly quickly as well. Those are important things to me (especially if I have to catch a bus or a connecting flight) I'll definitely use Viva Aerobus again!!"
Cons: "The seats were pretty cramped, especially if you're tall. But that's to be expected. What I thought they could've done (and this goes for all the cheapo airlines) was at least offer us a cup of water. I mean, come on!"

Cons: "1. Couldn’t do web check-in 2. When picked my seat in vivaerobus website , emergency seats were not indicated, as a result, i got exactly a seat infront of the emergency seats line. Not only my seat wouldn’t lean, it was also less than 90 degrees. I was terribly uncomfortable the whole flight!!!"

Cons: "They tried to charge me for carry on luggage even though I was under weight and under size. They aggressively tried to take my carryon and told me I had to pay 41$ per bag or I could not get on plane. Only when I asked for a manager and found someone to interpret for me and show with a measuring tape and we did they allow me on... total scam - the gate attendant conned at least 15 people before us that had smaller bags that they had to pay (very aggressively in Spanish and many passengers did not speak Spanish so gave in and payed just to get on flight). Once on the flight- you can adjust your seat which for me wasn’t a big deal at 5’1” but any taller would be an issue. You pay for even water on this flight."

Cons: "Delayed flight both there and back. Personal at the desk VERY RUDE! Their luggage policy is f***ing ridiculous! They even weight your purse! And both carryon and luggage have to weight 10 kg - AND IF YPU GET ANYTHING ELSE AT THE DUTY FREE THEEY REWEIGHT YOUR BAGS AND MAKE YOUPAY IF IT GOES OVER!!! They always change the boarding gate and don’t have anyone telling you to go to the new gate! You have to walk and look out to the screens for the stupid sign!"

Cons: "Landing at Cancun Airport wr deplaned and were left in a hallway behind a locked glass door. Safety concern ad we couldnt go back nor forward. Not a nice welcome to Cancun."

Cons: "This was one of the worst overall flying experiences I’ve ever had. The flight was from Mexico City to Cabo, and i was supposed to take the flight with two friends. We were all later than we wanted to be due to the México City traffic. I arrived one hour before the flight and they arrived exactly 34 minutes before. I remember because we tracked it exactly on our phones as it was happening. When they got to the check in booth the attendant said they were too late to check in and they had to have gotten there 35 minutes before. I have checked the airline online policies and nowhere does it say that. It only says that they can refuse checkin after 30 minutes but I am positive they arrived before that. I will mention here that the plane was about 15 minutes late taking off. So, the airline enforced strict made up policies on its paying passengers and doesn’t uphold any sense of respect to them? The attendant also told my friends they would not get refunded and that the next flight wasn’t until the next night. We are going to Cabo for the weekend so obviously that was out of the question. So, I board the plane and realize why the attendant must have told my friends the plane was closed. There were no empty seats on the plane, which means that they must have given away seats to people on standby. I support this if its a last minute decision after the flight has closed AS IT IS ADVERTISED. Not a made up 5 minutes before. So I boarded and there was absolutely no service. None. The flight attendants came out once and made you pay for WATER. What kind of airline doesn’t at least give water??? I understand the appeal of budget airlines but honestly, this flight was over $200 which is not what I would call “budget” and the airline skimped on the most basic things— water, customer service, and any semblance of human decency. I am thoroughly disgusted with how horrible this airline has been for even a 1.5 hour flight and i plan to not only write as many horrible reviews as I can but to share this terrible experience with as many people as I can so they can avoid being victims to such inhuman treatment. Viva Aerobús should be ashamed to call themselves an airline and Kayak should be ashamed to allow them on their site."
