Well the flight and the crew were great, however a poor grade for making us stand and wait for luggage, then find out that my luggage was not on the plane, OMG! then the customs kicks you out of the baggage secure area and you have to fend for yourself to get information because WestJet does not have a Customer service help are to assist you, have to go wait in line at the check in area, then you can get some help, after waisting over an hour found out that bag was indeed not on plane and that we would be notified as to when/how we would be able to get bag. Need better customer relations, sure hope they will deliver bag to my house today??

Boarding in Toronto is an example of good boarding. On the other hand one flight attendant on the flight WS 652 wasn’t in good mood and she didn’t even try to hide it. Overall good trip.
Delayed (causing missed connections) and cancelled flights over 3 days. Arrival in Canada, flight 5 mins late. Told could not board connecting flight because too late. And layover about 90 mins. At gate they haven’t even started boarding the connecting flight. Put on next flight 5 hrs later. That flight was held for quite awhile because “passengers on arriving flights at other end of airport needed to get to gate”, so delayed departure. WHAT!!!? Departing flight on return delayed. Missed connection again. New connection means waiting 6 hrs in airport, only to have flight cancelled. Terrible communication between staff, and between staff and travelers. Some staff just outright rude. Phone apps and departure boards showing flight cancelled, and gate agent saying to stay seated because that’s not true, only to have them announce 10 mins later the flight is cancelled and you need to leave. Since no more flights that night, told would get voucher for $250 cdn, only to get $150 cdn voucher. Could go on & on about how awful the experience has been. WestJet is TERRIBLE!! Will never fly them again!
On time. Flight was delayed. I think was poor planning on behalf of west jet. Flight crew had to go from one plane to next walking across the airport. They should have planned their timing better.
Took a 60 min flight to have no crew assist us to the gate and wait on the plane for over an hour!

Finally, the in flight entertainment worked for maybe half hour of the actual flight with no explanation or acknowledgement."

Westjet support staff were not very helpful and a supervisor told me that they was out of their control. Wr did get a hotel but our flight was not until the next day. They put us on a 5 hour flight with a connection for a 25 min flight. The lady who wanted off was just a spoiled, she was sitting directly in front of me. So, if you ever just want to get off a plane just ask. Westjet will screw a whole plane for you."

Air Canada lost both of my pieces of luggage including all my medication which required me to return home early. Spent one whole day in an airport trying to see if they could locate it, only to be told a firearm I had packed and had gained a Non Resident firearms permit at my point of entry had been seized. Canadian Customs and Border confirmed it had not been seized and this was strictly the fault of the airline. Complete nightmare, will never fly on Air Canada again.

Pros: "The Boeing airplane was either new or upgraded with plenty of in flight entertainment. In addition it was clean and fresh. The seats seemed to have more legroom than some I have flown. I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."

He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."

I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

Which turned into a 45min wait to finally tell us that we were waiting now on a new pilot to fly in from where ever he was to finally take over our flight , which didn't leave ORD till 1230.... Which was supposed to had left ORD at 930.... We finally get to PHX at 130 a.m. When were supposed to originally land n PHX at 930 mountain time! After all of this confusion and just bad manangement of time... We didn't get any apologies any kinda of compensation for time lost... Just a have a gud day! I'm pissed will Never fly with United Airlines and will tell others to also not fly United!"

When she came back around for drinks, I asked for 2 drinks (1 for me, and one for my husband still sleeping, in case he woke up), to which she responded, "I just won't open it then." She gave me just the can of soda, - no cup, no ice. So when my husband did wake up, he just drank it from the can. Oh, and it's a good thing my husband was sleeping for a portion of the flight because his monitor wasn't working."
