Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Crew was amazing. Seats were comfo"
Cons: "Flights had to be changed due to a delay on first flight that would make it impossible to take the connecting flight. My route and airlines were completely changed, which caused a big delay in original arrival time. In addition to that, my luggage did not make it and I'm still waiting to find out where my suitcases are. Very disappointed."
Pros: "On time and the staff was great"
Cons: "They were late because of bad scheduling and the gate agent was rude"
Pros: "The air stewardesses were extremely cordial and continuously asked if the passengers needed anything many times during the flight. It's a small gesture but I appreciated it very much. Free wifi (for movies/in-flight entertainment) was also a plus."
Pros: "Even though we were group 6 both ways, boarding was smooth and fast! We arrived early and was able to check our overpacked carry-on. Luggage was unloaded within minutes of our getting to the baggage claim. We were even able to move up to the middle of the plane coming back home!"
Cons: "Nothing comes to mind!"
Cons: "No personal entertainment devices on 737-800."
Pros: "Like the clean, comfortable seating. Great crew service and in time!"
Cons: "Unable to sleep on the redeye from Seattle to Philly owing to a loud, constant alarm for the entire flight."
Pros: "Entertainment system Leg room"
Cons: "Just one package of snacks for a 6 hour flight Delays going out of NYC"
Pros: "loved having a movie to pass the time. Super friendly attendants."
Cons: "They cancelled my flight in the middle of the night and rebooked for 3 hours later really strapping me for time at my destination"
Pros: "love it!"
Cons: "Chair wasn't that comfortable"
Cons: "Flight was delayed because of weather. No fault of carrier."
Cons: "I paid for a non-stop from Seattle to Philadelphia. they cancelled it and only had options that dragged out the trip, caused an extra day of lost work. There was no attempt or offer to ameliorate the inconvenience, or refund the cost -- even an upgrade would have been appreciated. just here's what we have, take it or leave it. I am through with American"
Pros: "All the staff were super friendly and warm. The customer service was top notch - beyond beyond amazing. The seats were comfortable. And the cups for our complimentary beverage weren't kids sized! I received a normal cup! The whole experience was a breath of fresh air."
Cons: "There was only one *tiny* negative... baggage. It would have exceeded my expectations if baggage was included instead of an additional fee. But this is wouldn't deter me from flying with American Airlines."
Pros: "Flight was smooth and comfortable."
Cons: "I didn't find the crew very friendly and often don't on AA. Boarding was difficult as the agent was difficult to hear/understand."
Pros: "Flight was ok, staff was professional and friendly. A good cleaning would be great. I'm average height and light build for a woman but I find the seats really are snugger than ever."
Cons: "AA didn't notify me of their change to my itinerary so I missed my flight, they cancelled my return flight from Europe, and only offered to refund my ticket when I spoke to a supervisor. I drove 5.5 hours to another city to catch a flight to Europe, believing my return ticket was valid as AA first told me, only later to learn they cancelled it. Thanks to AA, I currently I have no return ticket. Others on this flight and on my later Iberia flight were cursing AA loudly so I don't think my issue is an anomaly, but is more likely AA's new standard of conduct."
Pros: "I paid for extra leg room and I got it. The only thing I was in the row right behind first class they require you to put all of your carry-on above even a purse. I had never had that before but I guess that's common practice."
Cons: "Poor snack options"
Cons: "Self check-in staff at Seattle was not that helpful."
Pros: "Great crew today. As I was walking to the gate, one of the flight attendants that would be working this flight advised someone that was hurrying through the airport that they dropped something. While others may not have noticed or said something, she went out of her way to make sure the item got to its owner. It is little things like this that make life a little better."
Cons: "The thirty minute wait for luggage (which sometimes is quick for American at DFW)."
Pros: "Customer Service at SEA was great. we were checking bags directly to Madrid and they were very helpful"
Cons: "I had paid for a Bulk head seat Row 7. But since we had a in Cabin pet, my wife was moved down to Row 18 and a much smaller seat. I need to get a refund for the price I paid."
Cons: "Gate agent said there was a maintenance problem that just needed maintenance to sign off. Over heard maintenance work while boarding that could not get message on computer of problem. Pushed back and sat on tarmac for 10-20 minutes as pilot said they worked through maintenance issue."
Pros: "Outstanding crew and pilot dealt with some tough weather issues"
Pros: "Speed from Seattle to Charlotte. We made up for some lost time. Two empty seats beside me because I changed my seat assignment when attendant announced flight was not full."
Cons: "The plane was 2 hours late in arriving for pickup in Seattle. This was difficult for passengers with connections in Charlotte. I was fortunate because CLT was my final destination. Plane carpet was dirty."
Pros: "On time for both flights"
Pros: "The crew was nice and attentive. The pilot came over the speaker to tell us about our flight. We made it in early!"
Cons: "The movie shown during the flight was a bit odd. Not sure where it came from but it was not overly entertaining."
Cons: "Checking one bag took 30 minutes. Very stressful"
Cons: "We haven't left yet"
Pros: "The employee working the desk in Seattle was great. Long lines to check in and she took the time to assign us seats next to each other. Loved the bonus of the seats being in an exit row."
Cons: "Flight changed with no notification."
Pros: "The flight was on"
Pros: "On time"
Pros: "In flight individual movie screen at no charge"
Cons: "Had issue with continuing flight after Dallas. Gate agent told me to go to AA.com and wouldn't even try to help. If you can't do it on line, forget it. Tried to call the 800 number and told to wait 2 hours!"
Pros: "Crew were friendly"
Cons: "Ac was broke on plane, no wifi or entertainment options, lots and lots of being kept in the dark waiting and waiting after already boarding the plane or landing on the runway"
Pros: "Kind and attentive crew"
Cons: "Was a bit delayed"
Cons: "Your plane needs outlets to charge electronics. Unless your gonna show movies on your flights, ppl need a way to entertain themselves for the flight. If they burn through all their battery power, it's an inconvenience to try to charge it in the airport when they land. All of the outlet Chargers in Chicago, Seattle and Philly were broke as well. The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this."
Cons: "Why are there no more blankets?!?! Or if there are - they are for First Class only. Ridiculous"
Cons: "The flight being delayed & then cancelled at the last second"
Pros: "The flight overall because we arrived early."
Cons: "The fact that we were on the plane and was not allowed to enjoy the entertainment as I did with my flight to Seattle."
Cons: "Too many levels of passengers"
Pros: "On time. Friendly crew. Good price."
Pros: "They switched my flight promptly when I missed my connection."
Cons: "I missed my connection for no apparent reasons. When asked for compensation they said there was nothing they could do and cited reasons Regarding the boarding and deboarding of a special needs passenger."
Pros: "Claudia was wonderful, I would love for more flight attendants to have her cheerful attitude."
Cons: "My snack was mini pretzels"
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "We sat on the tarmac for an hour after we landed. Missed my connection, no other flights that night. It wasn't even 10 pm yet."
Cons: "I'm not sure why I paid Alaska Airlines, and received confirmation emails from Alaska Airlines, but whenever I went to check in for my flights Alaska Airlines couldn't do anything for me. Instead all they did was tell me to go to American Airlines if I wanted help. I gave you my money Alaska Air.. how about you help me?"
Cons: "Our flight from Seattle to JFK was delayed over 11 hours, not because of weather or mechanical issue, but because a flight attendant fell ill and American Airlines had no one to take his or her place. They had to fly in an employee from Texas to cover the shift. Are you kidding me? I understand there are unforeseen events but any reputable airline should have a personnel contingency plan better than that. As a result, we lost a whole day of our vacation, missed our Broadway performance, and others missed their business meetings. All the alerts informing us of the delay were sent long after they already occurred. I will avoid flying American again at all costs."
Cons: "Entertainment doesn't work with Android 8.0 devices because you decided not to support newer versions? Stop restricting it to higher versions idiots"
Pros: "And it was actually terrific. United employees were top shelf at every stop, on every plane. (I did seven flights total.)"
Cons: "Majorly delayed, barely made my connecting flight, My poor body was so confused - "WHY are we up right now, WHY are we running so hard and carrying much weight." I felt exactly like I was finishing a cross country race trying to make my connection, then the gate agents made me check my bags, I'm looking at completely vacant overhead compartments and will never fly this airline ever again. No food. No drinks. Rude and disriptive attendants - let us sleep!"
Pros: "It was great!"
Cons: "Over an hour delay"
Cons: "The seating was the worst I've ever had in my life and I've traveled my whole life. After I finish this trip I will never take United again. Everything else was wonderful"
Cons: "The flight was canceled because of the weather and then I have to wait more hours in the airport for the next flight.."
Cons: "Did not make connection due to flight being late"
Pros: "Sat by united pilot who was just on flight to go to training and was with my 10 mo old daughter and was absolutley wonderful, so helpful and Im sure it was not an ideal situation for him. On second flight we sat next to flight attendant and a trainee and made our first flight trip... that could have been awful great! Big thanks to all the staff."
Pros: "Smooth flight"
Cons: "No problems"
Cons: "The gang stalkers that Kayak and United let sit next to me."
Pros: "The price was cheaper than the other airlines. The flight itself was pretty smooth with very little turbulence."
Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable, and the coffee was way too strong, and there was no Splenda, only Equal, which contrary to the flight attendant's knowledge is NOT "the same thing." United provides only 1 cheap sugary snack for the whole 5 hour flight. Couldn't get my phone to connect to the internet b/c I didn't have my United Mileage plan number written down or recorded anywhere, and I didn't have the card with me. To top it off, there was a screaming toddler in the next aisle over."
Pros: "Will bw traveling to chicago then to iowa"
Cons: "Flight delay and itenirary changed"
Pros: "Rhe food"
Cons: "Custmer Service"
Cons: "The seats and headrests in particular were most uncomfortable for a 4+ hour flight. I was most uncomfortable on the flight and ended up with a pain in the neck!"
Cons: "I'm a normal sized man and the seats were terribly cramped. I likely won't fly United again as long as I have a choice."
Pros: "On time."
Cons: "New looking plane but the TVs behind all the chairs were locked without a credit card. The new chairs looked great until you sat in them. I'm 5'10" and my knees were already brushing up against the seatback in front of me. If you push the recline button on the armrest, the chair doesn't go back (of course it doesn't, the person's legs behind me are probably up against my chair anyway). Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."
Pros: "I liked the legroom of Economy Plus. The flight itself was good. Didn't buy any food."
Cons: "We arrived late in Denver and had to sit at the gate and wait for the jetway person to arrive and connect the jetway to the plane. I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."
Pros: "More important than the trip home last Wednesday was the reason for the trip. We attended my granddaughter's wedding. Everything else was secondary. Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."
Cons: "Not much I don't like. They get us there That is the main thing. Sometimes when the plane stops after it has pulled away from the Jet Way, the pilot gives an explanation that I find unfulfilling, not enough details. I suppose if they explained more, other fliers would find the explanation too verbose. I can live with it. Again this is about all flights and airlines. Nothing stands out, such as, " this awful thing happened when we left San Francisco.""
Pros: "I liked the crew once we were on the plane"
Cons: "The plane was full and we were on basic economy. The folks at the gate were rude and unhelpful, at the United kiosk the personnel were openly hostile. Thank goodness the crew treated us with some decency and were very nice."
Pros: "Flight was smooth and on time"
Cons: "The boarding gate attendants were rude and uncaring when we asked them to help us switch pre-assigned seats to ensure our two year old sat with us. While we might have understood better had they been empathetic, they were rude and uncaring and said when you book online you sign a waiver and they can not do anything about this. Wow. This was our flight back. Originally on the way to our destination we had used Delta and that customer service experience was completely different even though that flight was full too. Never flying United again as long as I can avoid it."
Pros: "Left on time."
Pros: "Nothing I wasn't on it I missed it because of you"
Cons: "My plans for travel were ruined because when I arrived at the airport for my flight I was told it was too late to check my bags, therefore I had to be placed on a later flight which then set off a chain reaction where I lost my rental car and missed various meetings at the event I was supposed to be at my final destination. The main issue was that when I purchased my ticket throughout Kayak YOU NEVER SPECIFIED THAT I SHOULD CHECK MY BAGS 45 MINUTES EARLY OR I WOULD LOOSE MY FLIGHT. YOUR LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTION SCREWED UP MY TRIP"
Pros: "Cramped seatting, minimal food or beverage options and we were invited to provide our own entertainment. Pretty typical flight for ten or fifteen years ago. The crew was extremely pleasant. Very surprising and maybe the only saving grace."
Cons: "The airline is clearly trying to maximize profits by squeezing any comfort from the plane while still charging ludicrous amounts. Good for them. That's their free market choice. But do not then be startled that everyone is angry before, during, and after your flights. In the long run that's how you shed customers."
Cons: "I did not like sitting on the runway for 40 minutes I did not like to have to run to catch the next flight I'm 63 years old I do you dont like to run to the next plane"
Pros: "The flight"
Cons: "The time"
Pros: "Crew was very kind, helpful, and informative."
Cons: "Outlet doesn't have USB slot for charging. No TV screens for the seats on the flight."
Cons: "The leg room was abysmal."
Pros: "Nice employees."
Cons: "Four hour delay, caused missed connection. Had a 3 hour plus layover but not long enough. 17 hours SEA to LAX. Not sure there won't be more delays."
Pros: "The staff on the flight was great! They treated us like family. Great job. United Airlines."
Cons: "Wish the free in flight entertainment was available on the United app for this flight"
Pros: "When it was over."
Cons: "Had to wait, probably 5 minutes, while holding my bags right outside the plane for an employee to do something. The attendants were unfriendly, unknowledgeable, and not available. Crammed 3 of us in the seat before emergency exit row seats, about 1" from my knee to back of seat in front of me and a 90 degree angle back, although there were many, many rows with only 1 person in them. One woman had enough room to stretch out and sleep across all 3 seats. Our seats didn't recline but the row in front of us did which made it even more cramped. Tried to ask attendant to move but couldn't find one for over an hour. Tried to ask an attendant but he just walked by me. Pushed call button and he says oh you want to move? There's a seat over here, before I could see where, he walked away. Moved myself to a row with 1 other person who was angry she now had to share "her" 3 seats. She typed angrily all flight and kept putting her legs and personal items as close to me as possible. She used both trays to hold her laptop and spread herself out so I'd be uncomfortable. Could've been prevented if the attendant had talked to the woman first then moved me. Had to wait when getting my drink because the attendant turned to help others, 4 times, after she'd already asked me what I wanted. She got food for someone while I waited. She made change for someone while I waited. She walked away to do something for someone while I waited. She served someone else while I waited. Asked attendant where the electric plug in was and she said the plane didn't have one, I said the sticker says the plane does, she walked away. Worst experience ever. Won't fly this airline again because of this experience."
Pros: "Crew was very pleasant and helpful. Comfort is OK but that's because we shelled out $35 per seat extra."
Pros: "The people on the flight with me"
Cons: "The flight attendants were cocky and then my flight was worse overall my flights in all were horrible with united . I've never been sick on a plain and I got so sick for the landings"
Cons: "I was traveled no with my wife and my son to Des Moines andI documented our 3 bags in Mexico City and "the first surprise" was that they charged in Mexico n I he front desk about $27 USD per bag...it seemed that the bags were also passengers and " needed to pay"... The big other surprise was when we got to Des Moines and realized all the bags were opened!...my wife's jewelry was stolen!!!! UNITED AIRLINES SUCK!!!!!"
Cons: "Everything the customer service reps were very rude and condescending. United is awful I'm not sure how they are still in business. The rep refused to help me because she was getting off in 10 mins."
Cons: "The plane was delayed again n again from ，7:30 pm to 11:45pm"
Pros: "Very nice and flexible people and boarding was easy. Smooth flight."
Cons: "Very cramped tight seating and the stewardesses were a little lax. Also, the overhead speaker was not loud enough to hear if you're sitting by the window as I was. They have no control over turning it up and if there was something to do with safety I would be in trouble."
Pros: "Flight was on time and boarding was smooth"
Cons: "Full plane it felled very cramped."
Pros: "Blankets were provided"
Cons: "There wasn't any food or entrainment for me to rate."
Cons: "The worst part was the new seats are the smallest ever. I could not sit without my knees jammed into the seat in front of me, and on both legs, Ithe seats were narrow that the people next to me and I were overlapping shoulders - that was a first. Unless its flights in the future are significantly advantageous, United's losing my business. It's not worth saving a few bucks to me to be so uncomfortable."
Pros: "I flew from OKC to Houston and then home to DSM. The price was terrific for a one way flight. I bought at 2:30 am for $130. I checked later the next morning and the price was $455! United Airlines is a great airline. There was a wonderful agent who helped me at the kiosk for check-in. Very friendly. The flight attendant on this flight was very personable."
Cons: "Could not get seat assignment 24 hrs in advance. Website said see desk. Phone call to United said pay more $ get a seat. Had to check in twice, once with bags...still no seat...wait in line again at gate for seat."
Pros: "We incountered quite a bit of turbulence. The captain kept us informed and did his very best to assure a smooth flight."
Cons: "Can't complain."
Cons: "was more than 4 hour delayed"
Pros: "Both flights were early, which was nice for a change."
Cons: "No TV"
Cons: "Nothing included in this flight, rude customer services, required to pay on my one and only carry on small backpack"
Cons: "I like to get to the airport early. It's always a gamble with what the TSA lines will be. So extra time get through and enjoy some food with no rush. Had to wait for over a hour just to check on our bag."
Pros: "Crew was entertaining"
Cons: "Second most uncomfortable plane I've ever been on. Most uncomfortable was the frontier transfer directly after."
Pros: "Great flight attendants, amazing landing in Denver."
Cons: "It was delayed. But I appreciated the meal voucher and voucher for future travel."
Pros: "Good connection, timely departure, pleasant crew"
Cons: "Budget airline ended up being much more expensive than my usual airlines. $40 per bag per leg of the trip, including carry-on?! My wife and I each had one carry on bag (normally free). Since we had a connection each direction that's $40 x 2 (people) x 4 flights = $320. That's ridiculous. Furthermore, these were the worst seating conditions on any airline I've ever seen (and I fly plenty). There is no headrest - the seats barely make it to my shoulders. And the seats themselves have no cushion whatsoever. The tray tables are laughably miniscule - much smaller than my laptop. There is no free snack/beverage or in-flight entertainment. There is no wifi. I will stick to United or Delta in the future."
Pros: "Nothing positive"
Cons: "I wasn't allowed to board because they closed the flight. I didn't realize you have to pay an additional fee to get your seat assignement to even get on the flight. I've been delayed a full 24hrs. That on top of $40 fee to have my carry on. At this point, my $175 plane ticket has ballooned to almost $245 which is more expensive than other flights where they treat you like a human being. F this company."
Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Cost of bags, not understanding person in terminal during boarding, plane seats; I keep saying we will NOT Frontier again. I must have been desperate."
Pros: "The price of tickets. Plane was on time and crew were excellent. The plane was new and seats were comfy."
Cons: "We did not know we needed to ask for our seats at the time of check in. A little confusing when we got to the gate. It turned out fine with our sitting in the seats for emergency. They were very comfortable."
Pros: "price and flight time"
Cons: "not offered water, had to ask for it. better seatig was too expensive"
Cons: "It's horrible I miss my flight and no body told me I have to there 2hrs ahead but when I get to the airport I couldn't find anybody any one from frontier agents , I end up asking people what happened they don't even know and I told they are done and left that's horrible no body there to help to book for the n cut flight . Their customer service phone number is a scam there no body to help you . Even I get a big discount with I will never ever fly with them ."
Pros: "Family emergency caused us to stay 4 more days -"
Cons: "No credit offered"
Pros: "Literally nothing."
Cons: "I charged the airfare, thinking that would be all, like other airlines. Then I found out they charge for luggage. THEN I found out they charge me for a seat... on the flight I already paid for. Boarding was disorganized, seats were thin padding on plastic, quite uncomfortable. I also had to clean crumbs and trash off my seat before settling in. They charge you 2.99 each for water and airline peanuts; i didn't partake. they only gave me one boarding pass and when I boarded the plane, they said that is was the flight to Denver and then they were continuing on to Columbus. I assumed this meant I stayed on the plane when we landed in Denver, but no, they informed me the plane was then going to Cedar Rapids. I had no second boarding pass or gate number, so I asked the attendant. She took forever to help me, looking up my info for a minute and then talking to the other attendants and passing out papers to the boarding crew before acknowledging me again. Twenty minutes later, I had my gate, which I barely made to board in time for flight takeoff. Overall, the process was stressful, uncomfortable, and more expensive than if I had purchased a flight from Delta, Southwest, or Alaska. (All airlines I have flown and been happy with. Delta had a missed layover once and completely put me up for the night and was very helpful through the whole affair.) All said and done, I will not be flying Frontier again."
Pros: "Flight departed on time and landed ahead of schedule. Entertainment is not provided, and food is for purchase only."
Cons: "Lines were long at boarding; seats in aircraft are fixed, which makes a red-eye flight a bit tougher."
Cons: "Long line at check in"
Pros: "I feel this airline does an excellent job boarding at the beginning and end of the flight."
Cons: "Bags took a long time to be delivered."
Pros: "The crew was great. The pilot lightened the mood with humor and the announcements were useful ( weather, time zone changes, ETA etc... ). The plane was clean and the price was low."
Cons: "You have to pay forty dollars for a carry on and for any beverage or snack on the flight. There was confusion about the seats as we boarded, which we did by zones, but still had aisle traffic which defeated the purpose. My connection was moved to another gate and they failed to announce it ( yes it was on the screen, but I don't travel that often and was lucky to notice it just as we were boarding... luckily just a few minutes walk away ). The plane offers no entertainment at all ( which is fine for me, but worth knowing... bring a dvd player or something for long trips )."
Cons: "I had to pay 40 dollars to check my bag or 45 to carry on with me. Ladies were accommodating when asked to change my seat from a middle to an aisle which was nice as I wasn't given the option to pick my seat while purchasing but when I arrived to my seat a grandmother was sitting with her grandchildren. I of course was not going to ask anyone to move, so I was ushered off to the next available seat. Was happy to let a family sit together but was not please with the lack of profession to begin with."
Pros: "I was impressed with the promptness of everyone on the crew...clearly a focus of the group!"
Cons: "The breaks failed on the plane so we had to deplane at the gate. They couldn't get us out until late the next day so I had to cancel my trip."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seats on frontier No wifi or phone charger"
Cons: "The new crushed seating is so unpleasant and uncomfortable... never fly frontier again"
Pros: "i like on time"
Pros: "I sat in row 3 and had a lot of leg room. I am 6' 2" and usually have 0 leg room in most coach seating."
Cons: "There were no free snacks/soft drinks available."
Pros: "A non Stop flight"
Cons: "$80 for one medium sized bag!!! That takes my deal of a flight from $200 to $280 yikes. Was only offered to purchase something on plane. Had to ask for water on an almost 5 hour flight."
Pros: "Reclining seat"
Cons: "Not having a seat in front to stretch legs out."
Pros: "Cheap price."
Cons: "Boarding process ineffecient. Pay for carry-on bag. Accept the seat you are assigned or pay to change. Should be renamed Nickel and Dime Airways."
Cons: "Very friendly"
Pros: "Flight was on time. Crew was great with a sense of humor."
Cons: "Seat didn't recline."
Cons: "Customer service counter in Seattle open very late"
Pros: "being on time"
Cons: "had to pay for snacks and pop, etc Free would be nicer."
Cons: "Nothing like arriving 30!min early and having to sit in the tarmac for 30min. Seats are terrible and don't lean back no wifi non in flight magazine"
Pros: "The crew was amicable and we did not crash"
Cons: "I dislike being nickle and dimed to death. Pay for the fuel and other overhead, then pay for the seat, then pay for carry on and checked baggage, ten for anything other than water. I understand that weight costs money. Why don't you charge people per pound? That would probably be unpopular with a lot of Americans so charge $x per pound for anything over "average". You are doing about the same with luggage. It feels like you are running a bait and switch operation."
Pros: "Boarding was easy and the flight attendants were nice. I paid for the extra room and was very confortable"
Cons: "WAITING FOR A PASSENGER TO BE REMOVED FOR BEING DISORDERLY (ALCOHOL ABUSE?)"
Pros: "The price of my ticket , the kindness of the crew ."
Cons: "The seats didn't recline , no outlets or WiFi. But it was ok"
Pros: "Crew was great. Everything went well"
Cons: "I never review things but good God this airline is horrid. They charge $40 for carry-ons. They also have some of the meanest desk workers I've ever dealt with. Never going to fly them again. Spend the 60 bucks on a better airline because you're going to pay that in baggage fees on Frontier anyways."
Pros: "the only thing I liked was the cost."
Cons: "$40 for carry on bags..$30 to check in...Seriously???? This must be the way to make up for the cheep tickets...And what is the extra charge for a seat???? Never heard of this on any other airline. I have one more Frontier flight in afew weeks and this will be the last. I am going back to Alaska or Hawaiian..cost is more, but much better service. Cost for one coffee and snack $4.49...snacks $2.99 soft drinks $1.99 Is Frontier filling bankruptcy???? problems with management????"
Pros: "Cheap tickets"
Cons: "Extra charges every step of the way, seats were too cramped to sleep on the red eye flight."
Pros: "Only the price it was cheaper than other airlines"
Cons: "1. The security now a days has long lines and I get to the airport early but can't drop my luggage ,no one was at counter until before 2 hr for departure 2. Unlike other airlines no free snack during the flight 3. Charged for every single thing , seat , food , snack , carry on ...."
Cons: "the flight was delayed and then cancelled for equipment. no one from frontier addressed any passengers at the gate until after the flight crew had mentioned the cracked windshield and "what the hell are we going to do for 24 hours." eventually, after an hour and a half, the unhelpful staff gave out pre-printed snips of paper with outdated instructions on who to call and how to rebook or ask for a refund. after a fifteen minute phone call they said they'd cancel payment and that it would take 5-7 days, so I had to cancel my trip."
Pros: "Nothing. This is the first and last time I will fly frontier."
Cons: "Staff is rude, not considerate at all"
Pros: "Flight was just fine, no problems."
Cons: "Being hassled to pay extra for a couple inches more legroom is understandable, being charged for coffee is annoying, but stupid basics like a tray table and pocket for your reading material under the guise of 'only paying for what you use' is obnoxious."
Pros: "everything was great"
Pros: "Very friendly and helpful staff. Smiles all around the whole flight!"
Cons: "45$ for my carry which fit under my seat. Non reclining chairs. Incredibly turbulant last hour of the ride."
Cons: "There was very little cushioning on the seats and they did not recline at all. They don't tell you during booking or at check in about the added fee for carry on luggage. Luckily I had none but about 15 people had to pay at the gate. The cost for your carry on and checked bag fee, you could of afforded a nicer airline that doesn't charge for that."
Pros: "Nothing i did not like nothing it was very uncomfortable i will never fly with Frontier again never"
Cons: "The staff has no costumer service."
Pros: "The crew was very professional. The plane was in good condition inside"
Cons: "The flight was delayed by more than two hours with no explanation, the flight was not listed on the departure board with the new time it would be departing and there was no one at the gate until right before we boarded so no one knew what was going on. Also the captain didn't communicate with is at all during the flight like arrival time, weather, etc"
Cons: "No explanation for flight delay. Rude staff. No ability to recline seat. Had to pay for everything, even water to drink."
