Take Alaska Airlines - Clear was great to have at both airports, especially seattle where there was a large security line
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-STLJul 2025
Give yourself extra time. Love the self check in options.
KimberlyFlew with DeltaSEA-FLLJul 2025
Ask for headphones to watch screen movies as all of mine are bluetooth and that will not work. Bring own food and wait until plane moves before hooking up to Deltawifi.
Verified travelerFlew with Hawaiian AirlinesSEA-ONTJun 2025
Make sure to be there on time because the bag drop off can be a little complicated and it takes quite some time to get to the gate.
MichelleFlew with Hawaiian AirlinesSEA-BLIJun 2025
Flights in the late afternoon and evenings are often delayed, just be prepared for that.
Verified travelerFlew with Scandinavian AirlinesSEA-MFRJun 2025
Be prepared for a long layover. Direct flights to Medford are slim.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-MKEJun 2025
Order ahead or bring own meal on plane
Verified travelerFlew with FrontierSEA-PHXJun 2025
Wish I had known the seats were so uncomfortable. Wish I had known checked bags and carry on bags were 75 each. Wish I didn't have to wait so long in line with only one clerk working. Wish I had known we were going to have to take a bus from the gate to our airplane. Wish I had known the seat space is smaller than any other airline I have flown. I do not recommend Frontier.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DENMar 2025
Alaska Air is very efficient & on-time so allow enough time to get luggage, go thru Customs & Immigration, & long security lines. Terminals in SEA are readily accessible by trains but more signage is needed. Fortunately, Information booths are everywhere & are manned by very helpful staff.
ShuraFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BURApr 2025
Don’t . Delta has all the gates together for easy transfers and much more food and beverage selection
MichaelFlew with DeltaSEA-DENApr 2025
Train from Denver airport to downtown is easy to use.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-CLEMar 2025
If you have a rental car, give yourself time to catch the shuttle to the airport. Also be aware traffic is awful and will often be standstill on the way to the airport.
JanFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-ANCApr 2025
Again snacks unless you want to eat prior or order ahead of time for flight. Wear layers as usually warm or as my case a little cool.
SuzetteFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-IADMay 2025
Take a shower before arriving at airport and don't wear perfume at all! Pack bags tight, so boarding is smooth and quick.
AngelFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-ABQMar 2025
Fly into a different city with more options for departure times. Not to have a six hour layover.
DanielFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-IADMay 2025
Seatac has gnarly traffic right now, took 35min to get from highway exit to the terminal
RobertFlew with United AirlinesSEA-SFOMar 2025
If you’re picking up a rental car it’s not very clear that you have to take the train. Signage can be improved at SFO.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-PSPDec 2024
Be courteous of your fellow travelers. Remember the carry on baggage rules. Keep your jackets out of the storage bin on full flights. Don't move other people's luggage from one bin to another. Step out of the isle as quickly as you can. Be sure you're in the seat(s) assigned to you.
DanaFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-MKESep 2024
That was my first time flying Milwaukee to Seattle & vice versa. I think we choose a good airline. Seattle’s traffic & airport is busier than Milwaukee so get there at least 2 hours early. Download & keep an eye on the Alaska airline app for flight info updates.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-ONTOct 2024
SeaTac lets you make an appointment to get through security. SpotSaver. No cost. Online.
KimberleyFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-OGGNov 2024
Pack snacks and patience. Ear plugs or noise-cancelling headphones are a must!
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-MCIOct 2024
TSA lines in Seattle can get very long early in the day. Also, plan to return your rental car early since you have to take a shuttle bus to the terminal and those lines can get long early in the day, too. Currently there is construction in the North Terminal, so be prepared for moving around barriers. The day I flew out, the escalators were not working.
BarbFlew with DeltaSEA-MSPSep 2024
Try not to get to the airport too early. We came off of a cruise and had a 6 hour wait. Unlike MSP, SEATAC didn’t have free WiFi. But, McDonald’s did. And the three hours before the flight we used the Delta Lounge which is always amazing.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-HNLSep 2024
Bring your own food or eat before boarding. Get to that airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight, the TSC screening line was 45 minutes long and if you have to walk to the other side of the terminal you might have to run.
JoanFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-JFKNov 2024
SeaTac should add sand to the painted floor from the terminal to the light rail. It is VARY slippery when wet and the northwest (Seattle) is known for rain.
BrandonFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-INDOct 2024
Arrive to the Seattle airport much earlier than you would the Indianapolis airport. This might be obvious, but the Seattle airport is much larger than the Indianapolis one.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DFWOct 2024
Long train ride in Dallas to gates, but pretty easy to navigate, no real issues
StephenFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-RNOOct 2024
Buy food in the larger terminals. Gate S was an outpost
KathyFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-HNLSep 2024
Bring warm clothing, a blsnket, your own water to keep hydrated.
DeeFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DFWSep 2024
Arrive early as repairs and construction underway at Seatac.
ReidFlew with United AirlinesSEA-LAXOct 2024
SeaTac does not have a very good or equitable system for security lines. First class passengers don’t have a TSA precheck option, while there are only 2 TSA precheck lines on opposite sides of the terminal. Highly recommend getting TSA plus Clear, as the airport heavily favors this combination, with each section of the terminal having one of these options. I almost missed my flight because the only TSA precheck line was about 45 minutes long.
BruceFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-LAXNov 2024
Tight interline connection at LAX - barely made the flight. Directions from AS arrival gate to separate AA commuter terminal for AS codeshare flight connecting to TUS would have been nice.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BOSJul 2024
Generally Alaska Airlines have very friendly and helpful people in my experience. They don’t have TVs in all planes so make sure to download their app if you want entertainment on the plane.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BNAJul 2024
Fill or buy a bottle with screw on cap with water for flight. If you have to get up and down it can be placed behind the seat in of you.
KimberlyFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-SNAJul 2024
When going to Disneyland fly to this airport. Only 8 miles from Disneyland and super quick to check in and check out. Highly recommend this airport!
KateFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-CMHAug 2024
Get to the airport early. It’s much busier than the Columbus airport. It’s worth going earlier so you aren’t anxious about missing your flight.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BURAug 2024
Burbank Airport is the best place to start your travels: small airport, short lines, and easy check in.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-INDJun 2024
Get to the airport with plenty of time before your flight. Sea-Tac is one busy airport!
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BWIJul 2024
bring wireless earphones and chargers. you have to use your own phone if you want to watch movies or tv onboard.
FrankFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-TPAAug 2024
Make sure you have seat assigned at check in or you will have to wonder and be on a wait list.
kabirFlew with American AirlinesSEA-DFWAug 2024
Red eye flights can be a full flight. If possible, upgrade your seat. Stay away from sitting by flight attendant
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-SJCAug 2024
The airport is busy and a mess with construction. There is a train to take so account for extra time.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DFWJun 2024
If you like your feet warm, avoid wearing sandles. Cool air blew across my feet for almost four (4) hours.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-EATJul 2024
They will not wait for anyone so make sure you are there with plenty of time to spare
Verified travelerFlew with United AirlinesSEA-ORDJul 2024
Budget if you’re planning on shopping for meals or souvenirs at Sea-Tac, it’s not cheap.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-PHXJul 2024
Seattle is a busy gate. Find your gate first as connections may involve underground tram.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DFWJul 2024
Arrive early. Busy airport and rental car return is far from Airport
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-PITJun 2024
The SeaTac airport is huge and busy, get there early.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DFWJun 2024
Bring snacks, water, and a change of clothes.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-SNAAug 2024
Flight was delayed 9-1/2 hours. Make sure you have somewhere to go in you have to check out of your hotel.
Verified travelerFlew with FrontierSEA-LASAug 2024
Get there very early. The Seattle airport is nuts! I got there three hours early and barely made my flight!
LauraFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-LAXJul 2024
LAX is a bit of a mess. Very long walk between terminals.
Verified travelerFlew with American AirlinesSEA-DFWMar 2024
The people mover in DFW is really fast. It can get you to your gate faster than you can run, for sure!
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-FATMar 2024
Enjoy the flight. You can see Yosemite national park half dome and el capitan from left side window seat
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-LASApr 2024
Always come early so you don’t experience waiting times
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-DENMay 2024
When flying from Seattle to Denver, be ready to take our any electronics and put them in separate bins when going through security. You will also most likely have to take off your jacket as well. During our flight back the flight randomly changed so be on the lookout in case that happens to you! It was by chance that I checked my ticket and saw that the gate changed last minute.
ElaineFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-PHLMay 2024
If you have any metal in your body (e.g., spinal fusion screws) make sure you get in the line for the TSA security screening booth that makes you stand on the yellow marks with your arms over your head. I wish I had known this before I wasted time in the alternate line with the walk-through detector.
BrentFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BNAMay 2024
Seattle is a cluster, too. You have to enter at one end of the terminal to check bags, walk to the other end of the terminal for non-Pre-TSA security checks, then back again to the starting end fir the boarding gates.
PeggyFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-EWRMay 2024
Bring earbuds or head phones to watch movies on your electronic devices. The plane doesn’t have a screen for showing movies.
JayFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-JFKMay 2024
Bring entertainment since there are no screens available to watch movies or check on current map of destination.
Verified travelerFlew with DeltaSEA-MCOMar 2024
1.5hr early arrival for redeye flight was enough.
MelissaFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-HNLMay 2024
Bring your own snacks because they will not feed you any kind of a big meal and it’s five hours. It’s a long time to wait without food. You do get a pretzel bag and a cookie and two drinks but that’s not enough.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-TPAFeb 2024
Alaska is a great airline and price is great, but be flexible on time. Pack a lunch and bring a water bottle to fill up beyond the check point…
LaurenFlew with DeltaSEA-LAXFeb 2024
If you have kids, bring your own screens. We were counting on the inflight entertainment and it was a definite letdown. Also, TSA Pre-check is only available at station 2, but wait times are posted at each station so you can see if it’s worth the walk.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-RNOJan 2024
have devices fully charged- no charging ports and no outlets gate check your bags because the compartments are SOOOO tiny and there is room for maybe 60% of the passengers to place items in these compartments
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-BOIFeb 2024
Keep an eye on boarding time. At SEATAC, if you are not sitting at your exact gate, you cannot hear boarding announcements.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesSEA-STLFeb 2024
Be sure to measure your wheels for carry on my luggage was the correct size but the wheels made it over so had to check my bag wasn't happy about that since you have to pay for checked should at least get one free.

The airline staff was great! The best safety review ive ever had!

Agent boarding us in San Diego lectured me on showing up on time for the flight, and said that if I had been three minutes later, he would have denied myself and my wife boarding. Our trusted traveler numbers were not in the system, even though I entered them when I bought the tickets. Our food orders were not in the system, even though I entered them prior to the flight. My wife requires a wheelchair, and that was delayed on both flights.

Why was I charged for a glass of wine on one flight and not on another? Why no movie or TVs? It was a long flight.

I liked that it didn't take 10 hours to drive here. Super short trip!

Wheelchair assistance was provided in Seattle and was very gratefully accepted. Thank you to the Alaska staff.

I payed for a window seat and was assigned the middle seat. The window seat just so happened to be open. Which made the ride alot more comfortable. I think I should get what I pay for without having to buy extra fight protection. If I pay for it first that should be the end of that seats history because it's now spoken for. That alone might make me think twice about using this again

We were flying 1st class for a special occasion. This was a Hawaiian airlines flight. It was exceptional. Very comfortable seats and space. Extremely attentive crew. Food was great for airline food. They provided tablets to watch and full headphones to listen. This was the best airline experience I have had in decades.

Didn't care for the crowding at the gate area at SEA TAC. Not a fault of the airline.

Loved the staff ease of flying snacks and free movies and WiFi

you could have gotten me there on the day I was supposed to be there, not a day later. Paid for 3 nights at a VRBO and got to spend only 2 nights there.

This route with Delta always has delays or is cancelled. Aircrafts seem smaller and older. I fly Delta quite a bit - haven’t had issues with the international flights. But this route has always been the troublesome one

Three seats in first class were broken and while they were able to still acommodate us it was looking very touch and go and they had others they could not acommodate

Mechanic delay in addition to a 2 hour change in takeoff time was frustrating.

Delayed due to thunderstorms and no in-flight service due to rough weather — both of which are out of Delta’s control. Flight was good overall.

The flight attendants in SLC were rude. I arrived 40 minutes early to gate. Ticket said I needed check in for seat assignments and tried check in and attendants said they weren’t doing it. And proceeded to never call me to give me a ticket so when time to board I received the very last seat. Please relay to employees to do their job better..,

On this flight I felt the food offering was not as complete as on previous flights. The tomato salad was a bit off and there was nothing additional such a bread or butter. The breakfast was only one option, so you either ate what they had or ate nothing. The crew was efficient, but most seemed frustrated throughout the flight. The flight arrived early and was obstacle-free, so I’m overall quite happy, but the shine in the rest of the experience just wasn’t there.

The seats got pretty uncomfortable pretty fast. The armrests are bigger than on other planes, so I had less room in the actual seat. My butt hurt by the end of the flight. :/ comfort was the primary issue. The crew were fantastic!

I believe that a four-hour trip should have a meal. Delta had none.

Great flight with Delta! Boarding was quick and easy, the amenities were solid, and the plane was in great shape. The flight attendants had a fun, lively energy while staying professional. All in all, a smooth trip — even managed to catch up on some rest. Thanks, Delta!

I was uncomfortably cold on the plane. Other than that it was uneventful and therefore as enjoyable as a plane ride can be.

All of the United employees I interacted with were professional and courteous. The aircraft was clean, the food on the flight was good. No complaints here.

Armrest controller on my seat 35D and nextbooennseat 35E did not work right. Hard to press buttons to recognize and 35D had constantnpressure either upmost down somit was nearly impossible to make selections. .

I flew with my dog and had already purchased my dog’s ticket. Even that morning I had called costumer service to insure that my husband and I had seats together since the website was giving me an error when choosing our seats and the representative mentioned our dog. I showed up early to the airport and when I got to the gate and we started boarding I was help back and told that I was supposed to have a yellow tag and that I should have checked in at the counter for them to give me that tag. I was not aware of this, the representative on the phone did not say anything. Nor did I see it anywhere in the checking process online, so if you travel with a pet and are not checking in luggage, just know that you still have to go to the check in counter when arriving at the airport unless you want to be the last one to board and not have room for your carry on in the overhead bins. Other than that, I had a great experience.

Once we got in the air the pilot made up some of the time of the delay. So that was really nice.

I understand stuff happens, but plane failures are likely due to lack of maintenance. Additionally, air conditioning wasn't working, no snack/drink service, no WiFi. Fortunately, the crew was communicative and light-hearted. United grabbed another plane and we were able to get to our destination.

There was no food available for this red eye... one little waffle cookie for a 6+ hour flight... thank God I was able to sleep some

It is clear that someone knew, and competent, is in charge of food at United Airlines at least for the international flights. I was flying in coach, but the choices of the dinner were excellent. Tasty, and appropriate size. I had the beef, which was a little bit like a shepherds pie, and it was good. Nothing comparable has been served on a United flight in years. It will not be confused with three star food, but it is very good for airline food. Even better was the breakfast choice between a cinnamon roll and a breakfast sandwich. I chose the breakfast sandwich which was absolutely delicious and which I would happily order again at my local Starbucks or Panera. It is clear that someone knew indifferent is in charge of the food and it’s about time.

The flight was comfortable with the exit row and great service

Had to cancel first flight because Airporter Bus took over 3 hrs to get to airport which resulted in an extra $378 dollar fare . Is there anyway I can be reimbursed for initial fare since it was not my fault? Sent from my iPhone EJ Ledet

Plane was crowded and even when we hit altitude, the plane was hot, not enough air flow.

My flight was delayed for several hours. Sitting at gate 16 for several hours, I got a text from Kayak the gate changed to 9 before it was announced. Very bad communication at each gate from American Airlines employees. I received 10 notifications of delay from Kayak. My vacation started off horrible! I will write to American Airlines corporate office also.

The AA staff person who checked our bags was curt and almost rude. The FA also seemed unhappy doing her job. Overall it was like riding the school bus back in grade school.

Internet was a bit expensive and did not work ask that week otherwise a good flight

Ring in first class for an overnight flight, there was no blankets nor pillows for first class customers.

My Internet did not work for Outlook email or basically anything. I paid for one hour of in-flight usage and it was terrible. I spent a lot of time on different sites and browsers with no luck and a lot of frustration. Other than that, the flight was on time, crew was nice, service was fine. Seat was OK even though I paid for the extra 6 inches. I cannot imagine how tight the seats in the back must be.

Delayed flight that lead to a missed connection and a 5-hour trip became a 12-hour flight 🙄

Any flight to ORD after about 2pm this summer has been challenging. Flight was delayed getting in (coming from ORD) and that led to it not leaving before a ground stop due to lightening before they could fuel the plane, and so forth. They made up some time but we were still late in arriving at ORD, and that led to missed connections.

Food was ok, but not as good as I have had before on AA.

No issues. They did change our gate FOUR times in about 30 minutes which was mildly annoying but the flight was fine.

Great flight. No issues at all. I still think boarding could be more efficient but otherwise, a good experience.

Finally a Frontier on time and efficient. I've had problems before with your airline, but this time everything went fine.

The experience was good. No frills but I got there safe and sound and on time.

Great for the price. No wifi or entertainment, but gate agents and crew were fantastic and we boarded quickly and left on time.

sluggish boarding and arrival procedures, fake nice flight attendants, and lots of delays.

Disaster. They lied every step of the way. We ended up being delayed due to crew and then allegedly abandoned the flight because of a curfew at LGA. No rebooking to LGA at any reasonable time. No hotel. No meal vouchers. Had to sleep in the airport and fly to Newark instead. Will never fly Frontier again.

What I expected, nickeled and dined and a frontier flight attendant loudly complained about her job and lack of communication as she headed to the gate on her cell phone. Not professional.

As every law enforcement agency I could imagine surrounded the plane and we didn’t disembark for 2 hours and then had to stick around for another hour to go get our personal belongings after leaving them behind and being bused away from the plane, it was scary and inconvenient. We were given no information as to why this was happening. Lack of communication with passengers was disappointing.

After boarding and un-boarding twice over 6+hours, the flight was canceled.

Severe turbulence. Captain never came on to reassure passengers after things settled down.

My first flight was delayed 5 hours. The 2nd flight was canceled til the next day and the never even tried to compensate for it. Worse I was delayed again on the flight the rebooked me on.
