Pros: "The flight was delayed due to some maintenance issues. Staff were friendly calm and helpful to the extent they could be with something out of their control. The company rerouted a different plane to take us since ours was going to be so late, turning a 2 1/2 hr delay into just a 1 hr delay. Boarding was super efficient, in flight service excellent. They comped us our headphones because of the delay, a nice touch. This is my 3rd great customer service experience with JB in as many months (the other 2 involved waiving charges to change flights, once gor me when I was suddenly ill, and for my cousin, when a changed circumstance made her need to travel on a different day, alone with 4 kids). Between Kayak and JetBlue app I got very frequent updates on flight status, but gate staff also were there and informed us in person."

I do everything by the book and as I'm boarding someone is in my seat. Well, after about 10 minutes it is finally resolved in my favor. It's 2018 airlines, work this out!"

Pros: "Loved the fact that Avianca had a female pilot. This is the first time in my years of flying (and I fly a lot with many airlines) that I’ve heard a female announcing as the head pilot. Very cool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Avianca also serves hot food and they don’t charge for wine and/or other drinks. The airplanes are very clean and love the mini screen behind each seat. They also have descent movie selections."

Cons: "As I arrived to check in I was notified that I would not be able to fly to San Jose from Colombia because I did not have the yellow fever shot which Costa Rica requires from flights coming from Colombia. Even though I am an American citizen.And when you receive the shot you must stay in Colombia for 10 days before you can leave the country.i don't understand why one is allowed to purchase a ticket from Colombia to Costa Rica without proof of the required vaccination.I didn't even receive a simple notification to receive the vaccination before my trip.Now I am still in Colombia.Already down an extra unexpected $500 and will miss work back in the states for not being able to return home on time.An airbnb reservation will be lost in Costa Rica which was prepaid for 5days.Worst of all I'm stuck in Colombia spending unexpected money to survive and will not be able to visit my PAID trip to Costa Rica.So unfair and a hole I will have to dig myself out of when and if Im able to make it back home"

Cons: "Avianca uses the Airbus A318, which is an older model WITHOUT the headrest entertainment unit. Fortunately, I had my fully charged iPad so this wasn't an issue. Note: the A318 does not have USB ports. Also, avoid row 9, it's directly in front of the emergency exit doors and the seats don't recline."

Cons: "The temperature throughout the flight was very high and humid almost like they AC wasn't working at all made it very uncomfortable to stand 5.5 hours on a plane. When asked for something to drink due to circumstances was told I had to wait until it was smack time"

Cons: "My flight to Bogota was pushed back from 10pm to 1:30am. This came after several problems (e.g. lost our luggage and cancelled our first flight to cartegena without sending a notification e-mail). We asked to be put on an earlier flight or at least upgraded to be more comfortable and they first lied that there was no more seats. Once we found out there were more seats that they could upgrade us to it became clear they had no customer services and didn't care about the huge inconvenience they had created (I had to miss work the next morning). We also tried talking on the phone once we found out the flight was pushed back and the phone assistance people are unhelpful. In addition, to get a refund they will not help you submit a claim, instead they make it as inconvenient as possible - probably because they mess up so much that they have to make it as hard as possible for people to get money back."

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."

Pros: "Crew was very attentive and curtious. Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

Overall people were still boarding the plane to Las Vegas and we were directed to Copa Customer service were we had to pay an additional $662.00 for a “Standby” ticket for the next Day.!!! Overall we had to find a hotel in a city we are not familiar with and possibly losing our jobs in America for not arriving back to work on time. Overall we were not the only individuals experiencing difficulties with Copa Airlines, there were as many as 15 people with complaints for change of boarding doors with out notifications, missed flights due to late arrivals. It all seems a scam and as soon as we return to America, we have contacted several attorneys interested in class action lawsuits against Cooa and its affiliates. Stay away from Copa."

Why do you (as an airline company) care how or when I am getting out of a country when the customs control itself doesn't care. If it's a rule for a country, let the country control it! Airlines need to stop enforcing this pointless rule because currently they are the only ones who care. This made for a lot of stress for us trying to get through check-in trying to "prove" we were leaving the country. Awful check-in process/rules. Also, the entertainment system should be more personalized like other up-to-date airline companies with individual TV's for everyone."

After over 5 hours on the highway I finally arrived to the airport at 2:27 and the Aeromexico counters were empty. A lady from Lufthansa told me the flight had just closed and suggested that I call aeromexico’s phone number. I did that and the gentleman on the phone told me I should go to the check-in counters. I mentioned they were empty and he had no other suggestions. After an hour on the airport and on the phone with no progress I booked a trip with United and traveled home."

Food, AM domestic business class food options are not the best, it was a turkey/cheese sandwich on a white bread with heavy mayo, and milk rice-while delicious, also very heavy on the sugar"

At the outset two agents weren't even helping guests. This was a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I had to pickup and recheck my bag and ended up waiting outside security for several hours because there was no where to drop the bag after passing immigration from my connecting flight. I suggest AM get another airline's baggage handler to recheck bags for early arriving customers so at least they can wait inside security where amenities abound."

Aeromexico staff needed to look into it to discover the gate had been moved. Not impressed with their internal communications. The flight departed about 40 minutes late. Not bad. The food was awful. Could only eat the cookie."

Once aboard the flight, the crew waited until we were landing to hand out the proper migratory and customs forms.That caused a lot of anxiety among travelers who weren't familiar with the forms, causing further delays when we had to stand in line for customs and immigration in Mexico City. Many people lost connections and it was not clear by Aeromexico crew where they needed to go to get their new tickets."
