Not only was i forced to buy a brand new flight to get out to Orange County, i was charged $150 JUST to be able to keep the 2nd leg of my trip, which i'd already paid for. It's the 2nd Time Delta has done this to me in the space of 2 weeks and it's absolute Idiocy. Gouging you loyal customers like this is NOT how you do business."

Top-rate LA crew, flights always departs on time, early to destination more than half the time. Comfortable seats, upgraded to Delta Comfort today. Gate agent was friendly, helpful and joking with passengers. Made it seem like we were all going on an adventure. Kudos to Delta all around!!"

They were friendly and went the extra mile to get our bags on our plan and on their way to the US. They checked us in quickly and ensured that we would make our flight. Can't thank them enough"

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

Cons: "Panama GATE Security "confiscated" a water bottle without explanation. Having a Security presence in a CLEAN ZONE (after passing primary security) is ludicrous. No water to buy at the gate so that means no hydration for 5-6 hours in flight. STUPID!! Never again COPA or Panama Transfer."

When I asked for help at the Copa counter, I was told it can only be done on the web site. Fortunate, my recent trip to and from Ecuador did register frequent flyer miles."

We had in flight entertainment, a very friendly, welcoming and attentive bilingual crew on all legs, and... basically everything I would want in a flight. My 84 year old grandmother who flies almost yearly said this was one of her best airline experiences"

Cons: "Before departing Chicago, I requested vegan food. When I arrived at the airport, nothing had been requested. The staff in Chicago told me they couldn't promise to get me food to Quito, Ecuador, but that they had put in the request for my returning flights. When returning, I spoke with the staff in Ecuador & come to find out that no request was ever put in. There were only notes of my initial inquiry about requesting vegan meals. Fortunately, the staff was great and were able to get me a vegan meal and told me that they put in a request for my connecting flight. When getting to the gate for my connecting flight the following day, the staff tells me that there is no request for a vegan meal. They were great and were able to get me one, but it was a bit annoying to have to keep dealing with the same issue on all four flights, especially, when I had spoken with someone prior to my 1st flight."

Checked my baggage when it didn't need to be checked / met appropriate baggage standards. Being loaded onto trams was a bit of an inconvenience - but not the worst thing ever. No vegetarian option for food - wasn't able to eat. It was indicated we'd be served dinner on board but not that there was only one meat option (I'm allergic to mammmal meat - beef and pork in particular). Most other flights give the option of meat or vegetarian dishes."

If we buy tickets from your website and you own the process, you should be more helpful when there are problems. The back-and-forth was frustrating. Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."

They did offer to put us up in a hotel and pay for the taxi to and from but we were not pleased. We needed to get to our destination that night so we had to buy tickets on another airline."

Cons: "Upon boarding the aircraft, the attendant at the gate told me to check the size of my carryon bag against the test dimensions, which I did. My bag fit but I had to press the side in slightly to make it fit. She said it had to slide in without me pressing on it and proceeded to make me remove items from the bag in order to board the plane. I walked down the ramp with my extra pair of shoes and a book in my hands. As a result, I had to place my bag far from my seat due to the added time. My bag easily fit in the overhead compartment with room to spare and my being made an example was a completely pointless exercise."

Cons: "Slightly delayed both ways. Lost around 2 hours total time, but not substantial for me."

Pros: "Staff was honest. Pilot and ground representative kept us updated."
Cons: "Delay while we waited for a crew from Denver and nobody cleaned the plane while they waited. Instead the crew arrives quite late to find a dirty plane. While the plane was being cleaned our Co-pilot was reassigned. We waited on the plane while they scouted up a different co-pilot. This caused another delay. Staff did the best they could but the organizational incompetence was not lost on the passengers."

Cons: "I had problems with my reservation. Somehow my last name was typed wrong on the sistem and they couldn't fixed it at the moment i was doing my check in. I had to purchased another ticket otherwise i was going to missed my flight. Very disappointed with that airline. It was my second time traveling with them and definitely my last one."

Cons: "Our 10:40AM flight got cancelled. We had to wait in line until 1AM with regular check-ins to rebook for 8:40AM. When we made it to the airport again after limited sleep, that flight also got cancelled. We bought a ticket with LATAM which was a breeze. Throughout the following week, we tried calling them numerous times to have them tell us we had to loose yet more time by having to go to their Cusco office... but they couldn't resolve the issue either. We had to escalate this over the phone from their office so they would issue us a flight back to Lima at no charge to us. Now, I can only hope that they will honor this ticket but I'm not expecting much."

Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. She asked me for the Trip ID # and I found it right away. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I LOST 700 DOLLARS. I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER PLAIN TICKET!!!!!"

Pros: "I love how each seat had a private entertainment center, complete with a remote for a selection of games. I also love being fed a real meal while in flight and not having to pay extra for it. The service is fantastic as well!"
Cons: "I'm 6ft 2in with long legs, so I do not enjoy it when the seat in front of me remains in the reclining position for the entire flight. The head rest is, also, low. Comes down to my shoulders and does very little for my head. Other than that, which the airline cannot help, I really enjoyed flying on Avianca!"

I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"

When the flight finally took off and they got to us after 9pm, they had ran out of food. Lastly, this plan was made for short flights. No one should be asked to sit in those seats for 7 hours."

Also every time I was in boarding group 4 but was at the front of the plane and ALL OF THE OVERHEAD SPACE WAS TAKEN ALREADY so I had to walk further back in the plane to find overhead space so when the plane landed I got to WAIT FOR EVERYONE TO GET OFF so that I could walk TO THE BACK OF THE PLANE to get my bag!!! Ridiculous never flying United airlines ever ever ever again."

When I bought my airline ticket, I was not informed that I would have a checked bag fee, and it was expensive. The flight was late coming into Denver as well. The flight was delayed multiple times for reasons the airline would not tell anyone why. After we were able to board the plane, the gate attendants were rude. The in flight crew was nice, but they were not helpful with people trying to figure out seating. After everyone was on the plane, we were delayed once again. Once we finally got in the air, I tried to watch a movie. The movies were expensive also. The movie would not play for some reason. There was no leg room or room for me, or the person next to me. I would not recommend flying with this airline. This was the first time I have flown with them, and will be my last time. I don't like to write bad reviews but I have to with as many problems as I had with this airline."
