Every country had a little different process for boarding and getting around - most had friendly staff, on point, helping clueless, stressed, & frustrated travelers. I was really disappointed in Atlanta, not a very welcoming or helpful spirit for visitors to US - not all (80% were awesome), mainly those trying to greet and direct through customs. Most hate the arrogant America anyway, don’t make it worse - put your best people on the front lines to help with international relations & show why the US is the best. Put those that don’t want to be here loading bags out back! Sorry for the lecture, but this is any business!"

The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. When I mentioned this to the flight attendant her response was that she had not received a report that the electric was not working. No other assistance was offered. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

I missed my flight waiting for PCR results. I was hoping that a circumstantial accommodation could be made to help me get into the flight, as I was trying to get to the gate a little over an hour before the flight was scheduled to take off, but I wasn’t allowed. I do understand it’s atypical, but it could’ve been possible for someone to help me get to the gate with a little over 30 minutes to spare…not easy, but not impossible.

My empty plastic water bottle had to be discarded, however, my friend's 32oz metal water bottle with water in it was allowed on the plane. She was able to get her water bottle filled during the flight, but my water bottle was tossed by the staff prior to the flight. How does this make sense? This was a 7 hour flight during which only 3 times were we given a small cup of water. That is crazy! Airplanes make you feel so dehydrated, and three small cups of water is not enough for 7 hours, that is absurd. Please, just like all other airlines and flights, allow people to purchase or fill their water bottles (regardless of the material of the bottle) prior to the flight so that they can remain comfortable."

For such a long haul Lufthansa made the time flyby."

Pros: "We enjoyed the entertainment, the food, (dinner, snacks, ice cream, juice and wine) the service and the crew. After our flight from Madrid to London we were expecting the worse as that flight was dismal. We were pleasantly surprised that this flight was on a clean plane with great amenities."

Cons: "We had a carry on and were flying business class. They made us check in the bag but it was clear that it could fit. They said it was a busy flight so we had to give our bag up to check in. We arrived on the plane and there was plenty of space to put our luggage. It was not a friendly experience especially paying the premium to fly business. They were very direct and non forgiving. Crew on board were nice though!"

Oh well I paid $462 for round trip and arrived safely, that's what matters most."

Cons: "I didn't like that the plane got cancelled after hours of sitting in the airport, I didn't like the lack of communication between British airways staff and (would be) passengers, I didn't like that it would've taken me literally three hours to speak to a representative, and I am going to get a refund. I ended up taking an 80 pound train to London that took two and a half hours, and I expect the airway to pay for that too. This was bullshit and I hate this shirt air line."

I would be prepared to pay an extra £10 for unlimited snacks. They need to clean the toilets every few hours as the flight is 13 hours. By the end of the flight the floor of the toilet was disgusting. The cushion was horrible."

Cons: "We ran 2 hours and 10 min. over schedule getting from London to PHX. I can't understand why because pilot never said we were running late. When we landed we weren't told about the 2hr 10 min. time overage, but my sister said the plane reversed course around Iceland for a while, then turned around again and got back on track, but the PHX cell lot flight tracking board never said the flight was delayed or running late. She waited for me to get out of the airport an additional 3 hours. Luggage took a LONG time to get to the staging area and we had no clue what the problem was. It seems a simple task to put the PHX luggage in one area of cargo, and luggage going on to another destination in another area so 1st off clients could get their luggage and leave. There was a lot of luggage on the carousel that didn't get picked up. Very poor on the ground crew's part. When I have been in the air for 10 - 12 hours, I want to get my luggage and get home. Customs was a breeze compared to getting my luggage. BA lost my luggage at Heathrow on the way to Prague, and on the return had problems getting luggage to the passengers WAITING at the airport. You need to address how you handle customer luggage."

Cons: "On arrival in Venice, all flights were directed to customs check and there were 600 people in Que waiting when there were 2 (yes two) customs agents. It took over an hour (not kidding) to get through customs, and our driver who was waiting for us was just about to leave thinking we had missed our flight. We had no phone or way to get ahold of anyone. Praise God he waited over an hour for us to arrive. Our flight was not posted on the baggage carousel so we were running around trying to find our bags. We found them accidently. They had probably taken our flight off of there since it took so long to go through customs. I asked a customer service rep and she rudly replied to look at the sign...NO HELP! I like your Airline and the service you have on board, however, the Airports in Heathrow and Venice were horrible. The Airports need to work in conjunction better with the Airlines to make these transitions better."

Cons: "They don't tell you upon booking that if you want to sit with your party you need to pay an extra $60 per seat. We were on a double decker and my little sister was on a different level from me. They wouldn't let me down to go see her after we were delayed for a couple hours. Ran out of food choices by the time they got to us. Because it was so large, boarding and unboarding took FOREVER. Finally, it was HOT. Uncomfortably so, both levels were extremely warm and there are no personal vents that you can open above your head. I would not fly this again."

Cons: "The past two times flying with American out of Dallas my girlfriend and I have been separated on the flight. The first time we were able to be placed with each other but this time the attendant at the counter basically told everyone that because the flight was booked and there were so many people who had the issue that she could not move anyone around to be with their families. That on top of being rude to many of the flyers just makes the DFW experience with American feel like they don’t care about you."

My bag fit but I had to press the side in slightly to make it fit. She said it had to slide in without me pressing on it and proceeded to make me remove items from the bag in order to board the plane. I walked down the ramp with my extra pair of shoes and a book in my hands. As a result, I had to place my bag far from my seat due to the added time. My bag easily fit in the overhead compartment with room to spare and my being made an example was a completely pointless exercise."

I even thought about renting a car and driving from Dallas to OC California. I waited until i was almost the last person to board. What a pleasant surprise. I was seated between 2 lovely people who probably could have but didn't hardly talk the entire flight. The conversations we did have were pleasant, and they slept some of the time without snoring. It was a very nice flight home! And I'm thankful I didn't rent a car. Flying is much quicker!"
