Cons: "The process of passport control and customs upon return from an International flight was busy, but went well. The baggage claim and line to exit the baggage claim area to get to our next connection was utter chaos. There were so many people and it took time to figure exactly where the end of the line was once we had our baggage. The organization of this portion of the travel process needs to be reviewed and made easier to navigate. The Alaska terminal doesn't have near enough seating and people have to stand or sit on the floor. Food choices are limited and poor."

Could do without the five minute sales pitch for a credit card (?) during decent... I tuned her out after " we like to offer.... Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!"

Cons: "Long Delays, Over Booked Flights, Customer Service is not helpful, Wrong info delivered by Customer Service, No boarding gate info, Luggage was damaged, and I was charged a large premium with no added value. Delta sold me a 1st class flight because of their delays and overbooking their flights. This was because they could not fulfill the ticket I had. This was Delta's solution to their problem caused by them. I still have no idea why the flights were delayed. On top of all this, I overheard a walk-on pilot ask if there was room for him to catch a lift home. The flight attendant responded with "absolutely this flight is not full at all, you can sit right here". Wait I had to pay 200 bucks extra for an overbooked flight and you are having your Delta representatives say different. This was my first and last trip with Delta. I spent 1000 dollars for round trip ticket from Seattle to Spokane WA. No way is that OK or acceptable under any circumstances to treat your customers like this. The best part about all of this is, I have sent feedback and called customer service to talk to a manager to hear the blame put on back on me. Perception is reality Delta. Awful service, awful prices, awful care, awful communication, and awful value for the money."

Cons: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"

If I would have known that beforehand, I would not have purchased my ticket through AA.com. During my original online booking, the screen said JAL service from NRT to DFW. Just about everything was bad about my American Airlines flight. I travel to and from America several times a year from Asia. Each time I travel, I swear I will never fly an American based airline for the trans-Pacific portion of my flight. My latest experience with American Airlines only reinforces that resolution. The in-cabin crew is (and I'm being nice) pathetic! They are veteran flight attendants and they look and act like they could care less about the customers on the flight. Frankly, I'm just downright disgusted with the service and personalities of the American crew's attitude. They act like they are old and tired, uninterested in quality service, and that we (the passengers) are an imposition upon their life. For example, mid-flight, I walk to the back of the airplane for something to drink, instead of assisting me they point to a "station" at the Emergency Exit door stocked with random drinks and snacks. While they are chit-chatting, looking at their smartphones and reading newspapers, books, and Kindle-type devices. That has never happened on an Asian-based airline flight. Another example, in-flight food service, the cabin crew members are waking people up to serve food and, instead of being gentle and cordial, they are rude and impatient. My 2 row mates were both Asian, and because of being awakened and the ambient noise in the aircraft, they could not hear what the flight attendant was asking. So, with a tone of impatience and disrespect, the flight attendant virtually shouted at them their choices for the meal. Whatever happened to the "customer is always right" or the "customer is king"? My renewed resolution: I will no longer fly American-based (because Delta is even worse) airlines to and from Asia. If needed, I will pay the higher fees and fares to fly anyone of a number of Asian-based carriers. It is worth it for the 24 hours it takes me to cross the Pacific. I am sick and tired of the begrudged and entitled attitude of the archaic cabin crews of American-based airlines."

Cons: "The airplane was looked new, clean and the seats were very comfortable."

Cons: "Paying for first checked luggage, 30 min. delay leaving PHX, small seats in coach"

Pros: "Cheap. Easy. Got me to my destination"

Cons: "The only downfall of the flight was the seating. Having to pay extra for an emergency exit row to get more leg room isn't good practice."

Pros: "Main cabin extra leg room."
Cons: "Barely any help with delayed flight and connecting flight. Had to say a prayer and sprint through DFW to make the connecting flight."

Pros: "After boarding and a 20 min wait seated we were told we had to leave the plane because of the broken something . It was fixed and we were off about two hours late. Fresno is a beautiful easy airport."

Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "Delayed. Flight attended thought I didn't speak English. Was ordered around. Checked in but seats were still given away."

Pros: "Captain and crew were capable and friendly."

Pros: "I used points to bump up this flight to first class and was very grateful for the delicious food and extra room. We received good service from attendants who checked on us often to bring extra drinks and answer questions. I see now that it's worth the extra money/points to fly first class. Thank you for making it a great experience!"
Cons: "I felt the flight attendant who first served me was a little brash. We were seated for what seemed like extra time before takeoff so I ordered a mimosa when asked if I wanted a drink. She seemed reluctant to give it to me so I wish she had explained that there wasn't much time or explained any hesitations that she was maybe trying to hide from her expressions. I was only 1/3rd finished with the drink when she practically grabbed it from my hands and said she had to take it away. A warning would have been nice, I could have finished it faster. Then during the flight when I ordered another one so I could actually enjoy it, she still seemed hesitant/judgmental and finally said "that will be the last champagne the plane has." It was an awkward experience that I didn't appreciate. However, this same attendant seemed more friendly throughout the flight and was kind and helpful."

Pros: "well, everything was fine but it was a tiny plane so there wasn't any entertainment and it was a short flight so there wasn't any food."

Cons: "I think that is just perfect for a very short flight you can not ask for something else."

Cons: "The plane seemed old. Food was pretty lousy. Hummus was dry, crackers were stale."

Cons: "A smile from the flight attendant and something other than pretzels in first class."

Pros: "The overnight flight made it easy to sleep most of the way."
Cons: "I didn't like getting woken up in the middle of the night to eat a sandwich. The bathroom was not stocked well with paper towels, so there was no way to dry my hands after washing them. I also don't know how to order gluten-free meals before the flight."

Cons: "Fresno needs a better runway so bigger planes can fly in"

Pros: "Flight crew was professional and friendly."
Cons: "Tiny dirty old smelly plane. Freezing cold. No blankets. Flight was also an hour late. No food."

Cons: "We had to wait for a crew member but we weren’t too late."

Pros: "Short fly nothing fancy made it safe and in time."

Cons: "Need addl gate capacity at sfo including non-jetway options when other better options are unavailable."

Pros: "The flight left on time as scheduled."
Cons: "Prior to boarding United announced it would be a full flight so they offered to check our bags for free. The United employee seemed put off when we let her know my wife & I wanted to check out two carry on bags. After my wife had her bag checked the United Employee looked at me & said “let me have it” while pointing at my right side that was holding my back pack & ticket. I misunderstood because I replied “I am not checking my backpack, only my suitcase.” The United employee said “no, your ticket” which caused an awkward silence of confusion & everyone surrounding us to look at me like I had said something wrong when in fact it was then United employee that was unclear with her words. I handed her my ticket & the other United employee proceeded to tag my wife’s suitcase but not mine looking at me like I was crazy for offering mine up. Out of further embarrassment & frustration I ended up carrying my suitcase on the plane. The seats on the plane felt like I was sitting against a piece of plywood. If I could give comfort zero stars I would. Terrible customer service & terrible comfort."

Pros: "The captain was diligent to keep us informed of the flight progress."
Cons: "Another major airline’s equipment failure delaying our pushback! In spite of that, our crew delivered us to FAT on time!"

Cons: "We were delayed almost 2 hours. Sick of it every time I fly. Get it together. I missed my ride and had a 6 hour wait for a bus. Ridiculous!"

Cons: "1/3 of a soda can for a drink? Just give the clients a can for heaven's sake No food on this flight... but we had time for a snack"

Cons: "My flight was delayed over 4 hours. Pilots kept us in the plane before take off for an hour. They barely informed us even when we were experiencing turbulence and flight attendants were not very attentive to us during the flight."

Cons: "Flight was canceled. Waited in the customer service line for 3+ hours just to not be helped. Had to rent a car for more money than I spent on my round trip ticket without reimbursement. United employees give you the run around so they don't have to deal with you anymore and none of them are on the same page. Definately lost a loyal customer after this nightmare of an experience."

Cons: "Well considering I am still in Houston, the plane left late and I was in the last row and I it took 10+ minutes to deplane, I missed my connection to Corpus Christie!!! The schedule between planes is way to tight!! I am very unhappy and too old to be running to catch my connecting flight. I will never make reservations that the airline or kayak do not consider time needed to change terminals etched"

Cons: "Our seats were Infront of the emergency exit, couldn't relax. I'm 6'6" , so the incline if the back isn't comfortable and we couldn't recline. We had asked switching seats on our flight to Spokane because we were given the same seats. The airline told us seats were chosen at random and they couldn't control them so we had 4 legs of our two flights stuck in no reveling seats. I was very disappointed."

Pros: "Wonderful experience the entire way! I did fly first class as I've decided if I have to fly all the way across country I want to be very comfortable, and I was! Thank you United!"
