I have about 350,000 miles with Alaska and about twice that number on other airlines. This was the first time I ever experienced such a personable interaction from a pilot. Flight attendants can be entertaining but pilots usually are too serious to make the passengers happy to be on board."

The seats were comfy and SO much leg room!!!! And this was economy class! No joke, I love Alaska airlines/Boeing planes!"

Cons: "I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight."

They ran out of hot food by the time they got to me so I was served yogurt ... I don't eat yogurt. I waited 40 minutes for my luggage to arrive at baggage claim. The flight to Philadelphia from Tampa was a good experience. They had first class lines. The airport was cleaner. The flight attendant Steve, was kind and professional. I was served a hot lunch. I'm a diabetic and when my blood sugar went low he got me orange juice quickly. I waited maybe 10 minutes for luggage at baggage claim. However with the horrific experience in Philadlephia I may never fly American again. Definitely will never fly out of Philadelphia again. I was told by the woman who I sat next to on the way home that she hates American and usually flys Delta for her business trips."

The people at the front said that they were slow because they were short-staffed, and not to worry because the delay was their fault and the plane wouldn’t leave without me. I went straight to the gate, and when I arrived, the gate door was closed. They told me I was too late. They did not have any other flights going out that day—the next one was the following day and was a 30-hour trip, and they said I’d have to pay $100 in processing to switch the flight.They refused to help me book theough another airline. I had to get to my destination that day, so I wound up paying $600 to buy a ticket on another airline. It was the worst traveling experience I’ve ever had."

If fromtier doesn’t want this blasted on social media, I’d suggest they refund my money, now."

I will be flying other airlines even if they are more expensive, being charged for everything is insane. I paid for a carry on bag and no one even checked to see if I had one or not, if felt like a waste of money. If you are going to charge for things, make it a priority to see that we as a paying costumer actually paired and bring it with us."

I spoke to the man at the desk and explained my predicament and he was unable to give information as to whether I should seek another carrier. Ultimately, he said he had 'a good idea' that the flight would be boarding soon, and that I should not go back to the booking area to seek another provider as I might miss this flight. All this was super disconcerting given the gravity of my situation."

The flight was full (of course) so there was not an option for another seat. I will pay more next time for another airline!"

Pros: "If it weren't for the convenience of a non-stop flight, I would not fly Frontier. I call the airline "Fleeced Here." They nickel and dime their customers for everything. Seat charge when checking in, carry on bag charge, charge for soft drinks and asking the customer for a 15, 20 or 25% tip for a service that once was part of the flight attendant's job responsibilities. The trip added approximate$ly $150 more to my flight. I will keep that in mind the next time I choose a carrier. My $176 ticket bloomed to $325 before I got home. :("

Then I had to listen to a spiel about a credit card I didn't want and it was an hour from the time I got off the flight until the bags came."

Cons: "Got to airport, showed flight wasl on time. Get to gate find out flight delayed from screen behind boarding gate. All official Frontier sites say on time. Finally after about an hour all official screens show flight delayed 4 hours. (initial delay was 6). 2 hours after that a person from Frontier came to our gate. explained that plane was replaced in Cleveland. They did give us 10,oo vouchers but by that time we all had pretty much eaten."
Cons: "Seats felt like the plastic chairs you used to sit in back in school. They do not recline nor do they have any cushion. There website crashed several times during check-in and I was only able to purchase my bags but not able to get my boarding pass. So after arriving at the airport to get my boarding pass they wanted to charge me for my bags "Again" after I showed them the receipt for the purchase of my bags as well as a screen shot of the confirmation that my bags were paid for. After going back and forth at the counter they finally just let it go and I was able to get on my flight. I could go on and on but I'd rather not. Bottom line is you get what you pay for.."

Cons: "First, flight was delayed over 1 hour for non weather reasons. Next, my seat had NO arm rest cushion. It was missing. I asked the flight crew for a pillow or blanket, i was told they don't have any. They did not care about my seat not having an arm rest cushion. Next, no in flight entertainment. Once we landed, had to wait 15 minutes for an open terminal to pull up to. Then i still don't understand this, we all get up to get our overhead suitcases, and then the flight crew gets on the speaker and tells everyone to sit down because they need to get their suitcases first. Guess customers are not important to Frontier. Then lastly, not frontiers fault, but we then had to wait 1.25 hours to get our checked suitcases."
