$214 Find Cheap Flights from Tampa to Fayetteville - Compare and Save

My flight was delayed several hours, which is to be expected (American never fails to disappoint me!), but the parts that really bothered me are as follows: 1) I was unable to add myself to the standby list for another flight in the app, nor could the gate agents figure out how to help me do so (the app is difficult to work with and simply did not allow me to perform the action of adding myself to the list) 2) When I asked the gate agents to add me to the standby list, the agent said that he had added me, but I was not able to confirm that I was on the list in the app; as it turns out, I had NOT been added to the list after all. He had lied to me and/or failed to add me to the list. 3) I figured out I had not been added to the standby list when I spoke to the (rather rude, snippy, and dismissive) other gate agent, who finally did add me to the list after giving me some pretty unnecessary attitude. I understand that gate agents experience the worst of stressed travelers every day, so I appreciate that I was eventually able to make it onto the standby flight with their help. However, the app needs some SERIOUS attention!

The seats need better cushioning for a nearly 5-hour flight, it was a bit uncomfortable. I'm glad American has free wi-fi but there were was a bout 30 minutes in the middle of the flight when there was no connection which was frustrating.

We were delayed because of a maintenance issue, and our 90 min flight was delayed by 90 min . Our connection was also delayed so that worked in our favor or else we wouldn’t get to our destination. We arrived 2 hrs later than planned.

Horrible trip. I won't fly AA again Boarding was a nightmare because they squeezed people into the waiting like sardines. My connection was 30 minutes and the run to the gate was horrible. Then the flight was canceled AFTER boarding. The Flight attendants did not know what to do and gave out the wrong instructions. They finally sent us to a different gate. Again, the waiting was like a sardine tin. The flight was okay and my baggage arrived fine.

The seats were far too small. I was able to fit comfortably but the passenger sat to my right clearly was too big for the seat and spilled into my seat. I think it would be wise having a maximum size limit for passengers as it made the flight extremely uncomfortable for me due to being sat next to them. I can only imagine how uncomfortable and embarrassing this must’ve been for that passenger who tried their best to not be half in my chair but to no success. If you can advise what is the best course of action in this scenario as there was no space for the stewards to relocate them and it shouldn’t be my responsibility to have an awkward conversation to someone who clearly can’t fit in this seat.
