It was fixed pretty quickly and meanwhile a rep. from Delta boarded the plane, apologizing for our inconvenience and handed out Jolly Ranchers. REALLY? After that, she and the flight attendants did give us a free drink/headset coupon. That would have been nice but it expires Dec. 2017 and the flight attendant stopped serving drinks about half way down the aisle because the flight was so short. The coupon will be of no use to me. I finally got to Raleigh about 9:30...I booked the flight so I wouldn't have to drive at night.. Sigh....Delta used to be my favorite airline."

Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."

Frontier has a new fleet of planes and this plane was very clean and newer. I will fly frontier again. Price is right and great expierence. What more can you ask for?!"

Flight attendant on flight#1016 heavyset blonde lady did not welcome us, smile-nothing, asked for blanket & she was rude about that, didn't ask me if I wanted a drink which I did & then she got mad at me cause she had to backtrack to me, nobody offered to help me get my carry on bag down(remember I was in a wheelchair) again a stranger helped me. Pros: "The crew were friendly, considerate, and good at their jobs."
Cons: "The 'best' part: Frontier tried to charge me $104 to correct a mistake in my name during the online check-in process! I called and the customer service person agreed to make the correction without charge but also verified that the company did initially post the charge. In general, Frontier tries to charge for every conceivable aspect of a flight, including ANY seat you select (so you must decline to select any to avoid this) and the little snack bags on flights. Also, the first checked bag costs $35. Use with caution."
Cons: "The lawn seats did not recline, very uncomfortable. I felt like we were nickled and dimed. I always used to fly Frontier in the past but will try not to anymore"

Cons: "I think that next time I use Frontier Airlines, I will spend the extra money on a roomier seat. I felt a bit cramped in the regular seat. I was surprised that I actually had to pay for my seat."

Cons: "I'm glad that it was a short distance, after I got on the plan and saw what must be some of the thinnest seats in the industry, which I have not scientifically evaluated, but, I do feel free to express my opinion. I would not have liked sitting in this seat for a longer flight. Also, the smallest tabletop I've ever seen would not have been suitable if I had decided to open up my full-size laptop for use."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very friendly on this flight, even offering to help me carry my son's car seat as I was traveling with 3 children under 8 by myself (this doesn't often happen with flight attendants on any carrier!)"
Cons: "- boarded early and then made announcement that they were closing the door and everyone needed to board (this was 30 mins. before scheduled departure); my children and I were running to this gate from another gate when we had to make a pit stop at the bathroom for my 2 year old to use the potty - we heard the announcement and sprinted to the gate in enough time, but 1 minute more and they would have had the door closed and not let us on."

Cons: "They make you pay for any drink, even a cup of soda. So cheap airfare equals no free drinks. They don't even give a small bag of nuts anymore... All the airlines air cheap skates today. But what can ya do. That's what we get today."

My back was killing me after the flight. Unless flight saves 300 or more and is less then 2 hours I don't think I can do it again. Get what you pay for, and the concept is great but not sure that's a way I want to save money. Some can't afford more or on a tighter budget so I understand this review is biased. I would say in the end that my only complaint with them would be my first flights crew was rude a bit and plane was delayed over an hour not due to weather. Since Spirit is known for being late.. well. Another unsettling thing was on both flights absolutely everyone was very young. From gate to pilots. All in their 20s it seemed. Not sure if I am comfortable just with pilots on bigger planes being so young.."

The 3 groups of travelers before me took an unusually long time as they could not understand why they were not allowed to get boarding passes. The CS Manager did direct me to an airline that I was able to buy full price ticket from."

Since that time, I have yet to hear any positive feedback from anyone that travels frequently. You seem to pray on people that do not travel often. Because the ticket kiosks at the airport were broken, I almost missed my flight, and because they've economized even on seat-back pockets, I had no where to accessibly store my laptop and books. I will avoid Spirit if I can next time."
Pros: "There was a delay in our originating flight out of Tampa. It was clear that our connection was in jeopardy. There was a Whole day to reasses the best way to get us home in Monday. We were willing to do whatever it took and communicated that to service reps. Each time they pushed us to stay the course against all odds. We did miss our connector, missed work the next day and had to pay for a hotel stay in Chicago. My complaint is that there was plenty of time to make an alternate plan, but nobody at spirit was willing to make a move."

When you factor that in with the cost of the ticket, the price isn't much lower than other airlines that include the extras in the price."
