Flight from New Delhi to Tokyo was mediocre. The seats were not of business class as we are used to. They were not wide enough. On the other hand the seats on the flight from Tokyo to San Francisco were excellent every thing were great except the food. Tokyo business lounge was excellent. The whole experience was great except the food on the plane. Will still fly JAL.

The entree wasn’t very good. The rice was soggy. The side dishes were all good though. The breakfast was also good. The crew were excellent, as usual.

The flight attendants were excellent as usual however the meal wasn’t the usual good quality. There is cooked rice was mushy.

This flight was leg 2 of 2 leg journey. The staff at baggage re-drop in Tokyo were fabulous. Once at gate when time to board, had to take standing room bus to the tarmac to board. Did not like getting out to plane and having to wait 5 minutes until they opened bus door.

Allow gold card holders (Group 1) to board with their guest like other One World carriers do

Website from the 1990s, super frustrating customer support, inflight experience merely OK - more like United than e.g. Emirates

The seats are significantly more comfortable than US airlines and the staff are much friendlier. The food is also much better, as they are particularly accommodating to any dietary restrictions.

Could had been better if they include in their menu some western food.

They 7 seats in one row for Business class while most business class for other airlines are 4 seats in one row. the seat was narrow. the Toilet was so smell, dimming light, no water out of faucet. Terrible.

Difficult to access advanced check-in online. No way to understand why it wouldn’t work. Call center not answering. Email for answers took days to respond, Kind service at the airport and on the flight made up for disappointing service before flight.

Three of four legs of our trip to and from Japan involved delayed flights. Hours and hours of delay. Food poor quality and inedible particularly on the Japan to Toronto segment. Two planes on the Japan to Washington return trip required replacement aircraft to be flown in from somewhere. Boarding in the dark on the field, one passenger fell and was injured. Overall bad experience.

This was my first time flying Air Canada. My first flight was delayed and then cancelled due to maintenance issues. They kept us informed and put me up in a nice hotel along with 2 food vouchers for my flight the next day. I understand things happen and they took care of the problem very well.I also like the fact that they don't charge for your first checked bag. The food was also hot, fresh and good.

There is not enough room for people over 6 feet in the seats for a flight that long. Crew only came by when it was meal/snake time, in the 11 plus hour flight we did not see anyone walk around, on our flight to Japan we did not know where the call button was to ask for water, on the flight back we finally pushed enough buttons to find the call button

They delayed all our flights and lost our luggage flying to Tokyo, Japan. Worst experience I have had with any airline. DO NOT BOOK.

Flight and flight crew were great. Better than most US airlines. Check-in was awful. They repeatedly wouldn't assign seats on the Air Canada flight or print boarding passes for all legs. This was really frustrating. Checked in the day before each direction but they put us on Standby while they juggled seats to upgrade others. This made it really difficult to get seats next to each other which is important when you have 10+ hour flights. Then they would only print boarding passes for their leg even though everything was booked through them. This made Customs in Canada difficult as they required boarding passes for the next flight each way to get through security. Couldn't get them on the phone and slowed everything down and security had to make exceptions for me to print boarding passes as security.

I paid for a comfort class seat and was seated in economy.

Very smooth flight and the crew members were very welcoming.

My experience with Air Canada has been horrendous. My first flight was delayed 6 hours causing me to miss my connecting flight thus extending my stay at the next airport for 15 hours because it made me miss my connecting flight. They also added another flight to my trip adding more time to it. Overal my flight duration which should have been 15-16 hours to return home has been increased to 33+ hours and the only thing I was given was a 10 dollar food voucher. Talk about a spit in the face. Air Canada is Probabaly the worst airline I have ever been on. I hope no one ever experience this. I am still waiting to get home and another one of my flight is delayed. I am here fearing that I might miss my other connecting flight that they added to my trip and thus adding more time to my trip.

Flight was fine, 1st plane was a bit old entertainment, 2nd the display was freezing/ crashing every 30min. We had problems getting at gate and waited 2hr to get a gate in Toronto, then had a 90min mechanical delay at the next departure. Weather was bad and I’m just happy we didn’t get stuck.

It got to my destination on time. However I don't want to fly Air Canada again. The seat I reserved when I booked was somehow lost by the time of checkin. I specifically purchased a window seat so I could see outside, but the flight attendants made me close my window the whole flight (even during normal daylight hours over Canada), which was disappointing and also made my jet lag worse. Also there were no vegetarian meal options.
