This affects ,sometimes, how luggage is handled especially when you land in another country and you have to manually transfer your own - and nobody tells you. You actually change airlines. Itinerary implies West Jet controls the entire thing. Not the case. Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately."

We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

She obviously didn't know how to use it, and just hit the continue button and kept asking us to fill in the personal information on the screens. It was funny to laugh at afterwards but not at the time."

Half an hour before the flight was to depart we were told that the plane is her, but it is in the hangar and they are trying to get it to the terminal for loading. (can you believe) Once it miraculously got to the terminal the crew had to do a safety check etc etc and we boarded the flight 30 minutes after scheduled departure time. We were then informed that the plane had to be fuelled with 20,000 lbs of fuel while we were boarded. This took another 20 minutes. Then they had to de ice. We departed 1 hour after the scheduled time. They ran out of meals on row 14. The entertainment system did not work. When the fasten seat belt sign was on and an announcement came on to stay in your seats, people were wandering around aimlessly and the crew never enforced the announcement. All in all a less than satisfactory experience and an airline I would not fly again if I can help it."

No amount of asking nicely will get you any action at all. Six hour flights and you get a coffee and cookie. Flight stewardess makes you wait in the aisle behind row 3 for the bathroom - sure, just stand there and tower over some other poor traveller, don't stand right next to me - I'm a flight stewardess for goodness sakes! Having flown professionally, and for business and leisure for over 40 years I offer this advice - pick another airline - these guys do not deserve to be in the business."

The first plane had a hole in it from hitting something the flight was completely cancelled only one out of the two people at the counter was helping a line of people, but due to a system error people were not checked in . I had to get 4 different print outs of my boarding pass. the second aircrafts air conditioner didn't work, the third plane the back door would not close. I spent over 12 hours in the airport and couldn't get home till the following day . The airline did not have a hotel reservation ready as promised and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while they were telling me I was responsible for my own room. Eventually they got me a room and gave me a voucher. I would never fly or recommend West Jet i just don't feel safe."

Because I was told by 2 different people AND the flight announcement that I had to, it caused a lot of undue stress when I waited for my bag and it never showed up, because it was being sent all the way to Merida, my final destination. I thought my bag was lost, and I was scared flying to another country by myself, so it would have really helped my trip if they understood to tell me to look on my baggage receipt what city it said on there."

At the outset two agents weren't even helping guests. This was a very frustrating experience. Unfortunately, I had to pickup and recheck my bag and ended up waiting outside security for several hours because there was no where to drop the bag after passing immigration from my connecting flight. I suggest AM get another airline's baggage handler to recheck bags for early arriving customers so at least they can wait inside security where amenities abound."

Cons: "Aeromexico's online check in system needs a total revamp. Trying to check in online was a nightmare. I eventually gave up. Also, they charge extra for checked luggage, like most airlines today. What's different is that they make it really difficult to pay for your bag. After I waited in line to check in and the agent confirmed my reservation, I was sent across the concourse to a separate Aeromexico office to pay for my bag, rather than simply paying at the check in desk. I was lucky I had the extra time to make it to the gate to catch my flight."

Not airlines fault and likely result of holiday backlog Retrieving baggage from plane was biggest issue - use a carry on to but was required to valet bag as opposed to storing overhead. Baggage unloading was late (again, holiday backlog) but no personnel were available to inform passengers of delay, and bags were not in initial cart. Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization."

I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!"

Cons: "The flight crew kept going onto the intercom for no reason. Every ten minutes or so someone would get on just to hold the button and let go or say enjoy your flight. Also, there was no food and didn't ask for anyone to board before zone 1, including us service members"

Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

(Our traveling companions ended up missing the flight home in the confusion.) The airport is going through renovations, maybe it will improve. The flight to LA wasn't stocked properly with food. They ran out of sandwiches/fruit and cheese plates by the first few rows in the main cabin. No earbuds available for those who needed them. Cramped seating. This flight was with BA partner American Airlines"

Warning - unless you have more than 2 hrs on the ground at Haneda, do not takes connecting flight. You have to go thru immigration, get your checked bags, customs, and beat a 45 minute cut off by the airline in order for them to recheck your bags at your arrival terminal. We missed it, had to load onto the airport shuttle bus, unload at the domestic terminal - all without any instructions given by any anyone! WAY to much stress! Friends followed us one week later. Due to a late arrival in Haneda of over an hour, they were rerouted to a different airport costing a hotel stay, the shipping of their bags, and a bus ride the next morning. In all, it cost them over $450!!!"

Cons: "Showed up to hear that my flight was delayed for 5 hours. I was offered a credit with my boarding pass, but couldn't use it to buy a beer (which I think I was entitled to after learning about the delay) or anything from the convenience store. So basically my scheduled arrival time of 4pm ended up being 2am. Good thing I got to use my non-refundable hotel for a whopping 3 hours... After being told that this is apparently the normal experience for Air Canada, I don't see myself booking again anytime soon."

Cons: "There was a delay in the flight about 1,5 hours, although there was not an important reason for that. The weather conditions were good, so it was just a miscoordination of the company. It was also unacceptable that there was an extra 15 minutes delay due to an overload of luggage that had to be transferred to the plane. Most of the passengers, myself included, had a very tight connection in Munich and it was highly possible that we would not be able to be there in time. The crew of Air Canada was not aware of anything and they were not able to provide information about the connecting flights, although they were also operated by Air Canada. I believe it goes without saying that there should be a basic communication among your employees, especially about connecting flights, so the passengers can be informed. Finally we arrived at Munich airport 15 minutes before the connecting flight Munich to Athens. I was at my gate on time; the boarding was still available. After rushing and getting stressed to catch my flight, I found out that my ticket from Munich to Athens was canceled by Air Canada due to the initial delay in Toronto. However, nobody ever informed me about the change, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. The next available flight from Munich to Athens was the next morning. I should mention that all these happened on the 31st of December. So I was forced to spend New Year's eve alone in a hotel in Munich airport, instead of being with my family in Athens. All this was because of the irresponsibility of Air Canada, for a ticket that costed me almost $1,200. Finally, a small detail; Air Canada needs to renew the menu during the flights. It is exactly the same for a couple of years now."

The boarding experience was rushed by airport staff and the flight crew were overly abrupt with passengers on board (bathroom requests by a mom with an infant to water requests by multiple passengers)."

Cons: "I had arranged a domestic flight within Japan that would depart from Haneda about 2.5 hours after the Air Canada was scheduled to land there. BUT unfortunately the Air Canada flight departure was delayed for about that much time in Toronto due to mechanical issues. We were promised that Air Canada staff would be on hand in Tokyo to help those of us who would miss our connections. HOWEVER after getting to Tokyo (about the time my domestic flight was taking off) going through immigration and customs and then waiting in line to talk to Air Canada staff, they told me that since my connecting flight (an ANA flight to Miyazaki) had been booked by my son through the Skymark website, they were going to do absolutely nothing at all to help me--no help with arranging an alternative flight, no help finding a hotel room--nothing, absolutely nothing. They left me high and dry in a bad situation."

The entertainment systems are poor as well, both in screen resolution, controls and somewhat lacklustre programming. The business class is not good value, not because I would travel economy, but given a choice I’d pick business class on another airline."
