Seria muy bueno que primero bajaran los pasajeros con conecxiones ….se hace muy dificil ir de un lado a otro y las lineas son largas. De uruguay a Montevideo nos hicieron en chile pasar revisacion de bolsos a los que teniamos conecxiones y habia 1 sola fila?????Habia mucha gente que se dirigia hacia diferentes paises y estaba enojada.Ojala algun dia cambien los asientos x lo menos cuando son viajes de 8 horas muy apretados y incomodos, no todos tenemos dinero para viajar en Primera Clase
Lost my bags and had no answer for it
I had my seat reserved since the day I bought my tickets(3 months in advance) and even after checking my seat confirmation on the same day of my flight they changed my seat during the check-in. I have a broken foot and was accompanied by another person. I had to fly in a seat that was not appropriate for my broken foot situation and without my companion next to me. This airline does not respect its customers.

Cons: "I was trying to upgrade for business and the front desk told me Can only be done 24 hours. What diferentes it makes if I paid in front desk or by the phone?"
Cons: "Call for stewards was not working and the temperature of the flight was miserable. Kept asking to reduce the cold and nothing. I had a window seat and there was no way to avoid the air/ac on my face the entire flight. MISERABLE!"

Cons: "Crazy early. Boarding pass says gate closes by 1205 (for scheduled 1220 departure). We TOOK OFF (in air) before 1200. We got yelled at because we arrived only 1 hour early — should be 3 hours early for an “international flight”. Luggage very difficult, Must rush, etc. But everything turned out great. Scl is crazy airport — 20 minute wait for gate ramp when we got there (still 20 minutes early, instead of 40! On a 60-minute scheduled flight!). Huge long walk to immigration. Pretty long wait for bags. But it all worked out fine."
Pros: "When we arrived at airport to check in there was no internet and only people who had checked in much earlier on their phones could go to the boarding area. A large number of people had to wait for "somebody" to write (!) boarding passes. All of this was quite a mess and took a long time."

Latam wanted us to fly in three different seats we told them that we were happy to flight next day but they pushed till last minute waiting. Pros: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"

Unfriendly and poor customer service at check in, and inaccurate information (being told that we had good preferred seats, for example) Lost luggage still pending."
Cons: "They lost my bag, which I didn't get back until my return trip home. I planned a week long hiking expedition and LATAM lost my hiking pack. I had to then rent all my gear. I was very very disappointed in their ability to keep track of my checked bag. When I arrived at my destination they had no idea where my bag was. It took days for anyone to contact me about if my pack was found or not. I will be avoiding this airline from now on if possible."

Cons: "Mi primera experiencia en Latam no fue nada buena, mi vuelo latam2005 de lima-cusco el día 3/10/16 se retrasó por 2 horas debido a un supuesto mantenimiento de ultima imprevisto, creo que son cosas que deben detectarse antes para hacer un cambio de avión y no hacer al pasajero perder su tiempo...el 2do vuelo de cusco-lima Latam 2020 día 6-10-16 también se retrasó con 1 hora debido a que viajaban demasiadas personas y necesitaban voluntarios para viajar en el próximo vuelo. La verdad no creo volver a viajar con Latam."

Pros: "Flying on a Boing 787 is wonderful. The overall service from Latam is top quality; the crew was welcoming and very attentive. Food could be improved, specially offering vegetarian alternative for all of the food services. The movie selection could be improved (in variety and vintage). Music selection was very good for my taste."
Cons: "I was unable to choose my seats on line in advance, which created a stressful situation when at check-in we found that my wife and I were not seated together. Fortunately for the first leg of the trip (Santiago-Lima) there was an empty seat by her and I took it; and for the second leg (Lima-Los Angeles) the passenger next to her was upgraded on the last minute and left his seat for me. Latam has great service, but must let customers choose their seats or guarantee assigning adjacent seats to passengers traveling together, The process for servicing of the plane during the stop-over in Lima could be improved. I know it is hard to do minor cleaning, tidy-up, and replacement of pillows & blankets while many passengers remain on board, but at least there should be an announcement describing what the passengers are to expect during the stop-over."

Cons: "We were never informed of our gate (not on boarding pass, not on display board at airport). After searching the entire terminal, the gate didn't have the flight listed either, but we eventually identified a floor sign with the airline logo and found our flight. In flight entertainment screens were not very responsive to touch, and would have been better with a list of movies/tv/games, instead of 1 show per tap since the screen was iffy on responsiveness."
Cons: "It took forever to load the plane and they overbooked a few seats. The crew was clueless about how to handle seating a nice family whose seats were taken. 20 minutes later, the crew finally got it together. Also, the sandwich sucked. Some type of cream cheese on a lousy roll. Unbelievably bad and a calorie waste; tasted like wall paste."
Pros: "This was American Airlines. So the quality of the flight was significantly better."
Pros: "This was my 5th flight on LAN. All have been consistently excellent. The food in-flight was simple as these were all flights < 3hrs, but very very good and staff was terrific. Logistically no problems at all."

Pros: "I was traveling by myself from southern Chile to California and not too confident in my Spanish skills or knowing how my 6 month pregnant body would do on the long flight. The women and men who were the flight attendants took such amazing care of me and they helped so much to make the flight as comfortable as possible."
Pros: "Crew did well to make the flight as easy and nice as possible. Blankets and pillow were ready when I arrived."
