Why did we pay $25 a bag if you don't enforce this? Food choices are funny, especially the "tapas". Whoever thinks THOSE are tapas should Google the word tapas. Delta reportedly earned 746 million in the first quarter and you charge for everything and still can't come up with decent food for us to BUY?"

The kioks were not operational. My husband was flying in from Tucson on American Airlines and his flight was delayed. He was to join us on our international flight home. I tried to alert the staff well in advance that he would be arriving late but would be there in time to actually get on the flight. The staff was not helpful with this matter at all. They did nothing to accomodate these special circumstances that were beyond our control. Even finding a staff member that was available for me to talk to was a challenge. My husband’s flight arrived at the airport an hour before takeoff but nothing was done to try to get him on our flight home even though I had explained the problem 2 hours before that. As a result, he was not able to travel home with us on Copa and had to buy a ticket home on JetBlue. We will not choose Copa again."

Cons: "I had an earlier flight that was delayed which caused me to get to the counter 50 minutes before my flight left. The attendant at the counter told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to call Copa’s reservation number, which he couldn’t even give me he said I needed to look it up myself. Then before I had even called the reservation line he said he was closing the ticket counter and wouldn’t be back until 9:30. I called the reservation line who said that there was nothing they could do because my flight hadn’t even left yet and that I needed to talk to the attendant who had already left. I then waiting over 2 hours for the ticket counter to reopen only to be told that all of my flights through Copa had been cancelled and that I would need to pay almost $2000 just to get on different flights. I ended up having to use a completely different airline and spend an additional $1000 because Copa would not help and was extremely rude. This was the first time I would have flown Copa and I will never fly with them again."

Pros: "I flew executive class. The staff was very friendly and professional on the ground and on the air. seats are comfortable and there's a lot of storage space. The plane left on time and entertainment option aboard is great. What I did not like is that being seated in row 3, for four flights, I never got to eat the meal I wanted. It's seems the option always dies in row 2, just after less than half of the passengers flying executive class have ordered they meal. The rest was great and I would fly copa again!"

One slow down in my checking in was that I was one way on Copa, and was returning on United. All I had for the United flight was a 6 digit code. That upset the agents and resulted in conferences between all the agents. Looking at my passport, looking at me, looking at 6 letters. Lots of head shaking but finally letting me check in."

Nobody from Copa did anything I even emailed and never got a response, this was my first time flying Copa Air."

Everything runnyng smooth until boarding time when we were told there would be a 30 min delay due to maintenance, after this the horror story begins. Another 30 min, then 30 more, another hour and finally the flight was cancelled. At the gate we where informed the company would take ys to a hotel and provide vouchers for food we should go back to the check in to retrieve our baggage, take vouchers, be redirected to hotel to go to the flight in the next day. Arriving at the check in there was nobody to organize a line properly and people started to form different lines. Copa crew looked totally lost, showing no experience or training to deal with the situation. Long story short, there was no hotels available in miami so they sent us to palm beach. I received the information that i would take a shuttle to the hitel and then the same shuttle would take us to miami at 3:30 to catch the flight in the morning. Asked the driver about the time and they told us there was jo reservation for the shuttle to takenus to the airport. Tried to vall the company and nobody answered. Arrived at the hotel starving and there was no food because it was midnight (i arrived at the airport 2pm) finally some passenger found out the van would be at the hotel at 2:30am to pick us up to the airport. Finally i went to the airport and here i am now hoping i can get to my destination. Never felt so disrespected and never seen so poor service from a company. I've flown copa in other oportunities and it was ok but if something goes wrong with your flight expect the worse."

I understand that Frontier is cutting costs as much as possible to provide cheap tickets, of that I am truly grateful, but the fact that they won't even provide you water free seems a bit much. There are probably a lot of people who don't know this and dehydration is vicious on a flight so crammed in. Also, I can understand no entertainment whatsoever on a hop flight (less than 2 hours), but nothing at all on a 4 hour flight also seems hard to understand. Heck, even a magazine would have been nice, but where would they put it?"

The staff in Philadelphia was more pleasant and helpful when explaining the added cost."

Pros: "I traveled from PHL to MBJ for $200 right in the middle of Christmas. Other airlines were charging $400 to $900 for a ticket. I didn't have that much money to waste so I was happy to see Frontier. I've never heard about Frontier but I said what the hell we're going to die one day anyway. On departure day everything went smoothly. I paid $160 for several bags. I didn't mind because I am used to travelling US Airways and American so bags weren't free with them either and Frontier's prices are a bit less for the first 2 checked bags. I was surprised about the carry on bag charge but everything still worked out to being less than what other airlines were charging. My flight left on time, arrived early and everything was good. I'm in Jamaica!"
Cons: "I don't see the need to charge to choose a seat but if that's how you keep your prices low I don't mind being assigned a seat. When your budget is low you have to compromise."

Cons: "We had a scheduled departure at 6:00am from Philadelphia to Montego Bay. Our flight was delayed for 5 1/2 hours. We did not leave until 11:30am. This was unacceptable. Lack of communication. We were traveling with 2 children. We arrived at the airport at 4:00am! Also, seating was very small for international travel. Tray table was more like a small ledge. They should offer more on menu."
