I booked my flight business class trip to Thailand with kayak, but my final leg from Seattle to Denver was not processed correctly though Kayak (according to Qatar Airways). As such my first class ticket for a three hour flight turned into a 9 hour flight from Seattle Anchorage to Denver economy middle seat and no one is willing to answer what happened or take responsibility!!

Continual delays adding up to 1:45 minutes. 4 or 5 gate changes. Paid for premium seating and lost that due to plane change to turboprop. I made it home!

My initial flight was cancelled (reason wasn't given), but Alaska Airlines rebooked me on the next flight right away, no problems whatsoever!

I didn’t like the two hours and more of delay

Pros: "Everyone was friendly"
Cons: "Twice we sat on the ramp waiting for a gate agent to open the gate (for more than 15 minutes). They cancelled my flight and rescheduled me on an earlier one then waiting for the gate on arrival meant that they were calling me on the PA to report to the next gate when we got off of the first plane. The wifi entertainment glitched out every time the flight crew made an announcement. There was no food on either flight and only four beverage choices on a 1 hour flight. The lines were crazy long at the ticket counter in PDX (where I went to try to sort out my cancelled flight). The text assistance first said wait 30-35 minutes and then, after 20 minutes or so said that it was going to close my chat due to inactivity (but no one had responded yet, of course there was no activity). Overall, it was a very lousy experience. Pre-pandemic Alaska was usually a pleasure to fly, post-pandemic Alaska was excruciating at every turn. Quite a disappointment."

Cons: "Once boarding began, there was no attention paid to distancing guidelines. I never heard anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. I was very surprised to find out the flight was 100% full. Every seat was filled. I thought airlines were taking precautions to provide space for passengers by leaving some seats empty. I felt very unsafe flying in a 100% full flight where no control for masks was taking place. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe."

Cons: "The flight was nearly full. They announced this and said that if anyone was uncomfortable being seated next to someone not in their party (due to COVID concerns) they would book them on the next available flight. At that point, you're really kinda stuck hoping the person your seated next to is taking the proper precautions, but you are not "social distanced" during the flight. I don't consider myself a COVID prude, but I will stick with Southwest Airlines during this pandemic. They are keeping their flights at 2/3 capacity in order to maintain distance among passengers on their flights."

Cons: "Arriving in New Orleans was chaotic. The airport was fresh off renovations. FAIL! Reader boards for baggage claim were inoperative, so no one understood where their bags might come out. After an hour, we found ours and made our way towards what used to be rental car check in. Found there was now a shuttle bus system to get to rental counters, but waited in line outside with our three bags for 30+ minutes just to get on the shuttle. After a 15-minute ride, we finally arrived at the old rental check in/garage area. Bottom line, it took over two hours from arrival to finally being able to leave the airport."
Pros: "Check in and crew were friendly and helpful. Was in first class so of course was comfortable. Deplaning was quick and efficient."
Cons: "This flight required taking a shuttle from the gate to an offsite location. The distance to the offside was rather far and we were packed in a shuttle. We had to wait for two more shuttles for passengers that were in delayed connections. Additionally, someone apparently filled the plane with too much fuel, throwing off the balance of the plane and we had to wait for some of the fuel to be removed. During this wait, in first class we were only offered orange juice or coffee. I realize it was a very short flight, but a snack might have been a good idea."

Pros: "There was someone who worked at the ticket counter on gate B9 who was so sweet, friendly and competent. Not only was she pleasant and quick to everyone she encountered but she helped my daughter and I get seated together. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name...."

Cons: "Two rows up from us, I kid threw up all over the center aisle as we were pulling away from the gate. We returned to the gate to allow a cleaning crew to board and clean. However, the cleaning job was rushed and left remnants of the throw up behind which smelled the whole 2.5 hour flight. It really felt unsanitary and unsafe being that it’s unknown what caused the child to get sick. It very well could have been a stomach virus and could have infected the people in rows around the incident due to the mediocre cleaning job. I understand that it’s important to keep flights on-time, especially for connecting flights, but the safety of the passengers and their health should ALWAYS be the #1 priority."
Pros: "The plane was comfortable with a fair amount of seating leg room. This was the last leg of our return home and this was a welcome flight after the 14 hour flight we had previously."
Cons: "The process of passport control and customs upon return from an International flight was busy, but went well. The baggage claim and line to exit the baggage claim area to get to our next connection was utter chaos. There were so many people and it took time to figure exactly where the end of the line was once we had our baggage. The organization of this portion of the travel process needs to be reviewed and made easier to navigate. The Alaska terminal doesn't have near enough seating and people have to stand or sit on the floor. Food choices are limited and poor."
Pros: "Everything was great! This was my first time flying Alaska Air and I could not have had a better trip! Everything ran according to schedule, I was comfortable during the flight, slept the entire time, staff was great!"
Cons: "The woman making announcements did not specifically announce the duration of the flight as we were departing. I was able to figure it out on the map option on the screen, but I would've liked to hear it verbally. Only suggestion I would have is an announcement on the plane for which baggage claim belt our luggage would come out of. I may not have heard it though, if there was an announcement. It was not difficult at all to figure out once I was in the baggage claim area, however if this was known while we were still on the flight, I prefer to know this info!"

Cons: "Boarding attendants announced that the flight was delayed just 10 minutes before boarding time because of weather. Flight was from Seattle to Los Angeles and the weather was clear on the flight path. Two hours later, an announcement was made that it was actually because of congestion at the airport (poor planning) and yet, they did not offer anything to the passengers for the inconvenience. We boarded the plane two hours late, only to sit on the tarmac for another 40 minutes. This situation could have been handled so much better by Alaska Airlines."

Cons: "3 times in the last 10 years i have had flights with this airline from portland twice an seattle once everytime they have some excuse about air crews an the flights leave 2 hours late after a long layover this has been a problem for a long time if i knew the right people like in the faa to call i would . honestly i seriously recommend to do not fly this air line to spokane unless you are desperate .once ok twice wait a second three times two different citys there is something here an it need fixed yesterday"

Cons: "I was given an option to change my seat at the check in kiosk, after selecting a different seat it told me they could not change my seat at that time. As soon as I boarded I asked one of the flight crew in the back if it was possible to purchase a cheese platter as I was really looking forward to it and was already hungry since I was trying to save room for it. She explained it was a first come first serve... By the time the lady got to the back she stood there for a while gossiping with another traveler without even glancing over at us and was holding our commentary cookies in her hand. She finally acknowledged us and when I asked for the cheese platter I was informed they had sold out... At that point I was HUNGRY and tired and honestly irritated that we had to sit there for several minutes without being acknowledged so she could gossip with a passenger. I ended up having to buy a box that I really didn't like but I didn't want to be cranky cuz I was hungry and I needed to eat something. Also, I had a middle seat ALL the way in the back of the plane next to a crying baby, which I couldn't change even though I was "given the option to." I have a difficult time flying if I can't see out the window. That just added to the irritation of the situation :/ I fly Alaska a lot and I was surprised at how bad this flight experience was..."

Cons: "They changed my seats without telling me, even the day before my itinerary said I was in the first row of First Class by the window with my partner's seat right beside me and they switched it because of some policy that forbids dogs yet couldn't let me know that in July when I booked this and spoke to a representative on the phone to confirm I was even allowed to bring a dog on board. And even then they made me feel like it was not possible and had to stow my dog below in cargo because only one dog could be in the First Class section, and again I was never told that in that moment I couldn't have my dog in the first row. Also, the representative was very clear I had to have a health certificate for my dog to fly and not only did that cost me a large deal of money and time at the veterinarian's office, but no one ever even inquired to see it. I wasted time and money for no reason other than the incompetence exhibited by Alaskan Airlines, and it's surprising to have such consistent subpar service. Especially when you're paying for First Class. Also, your food on flight had several allergens in them. Even your choice of cookie for passengers had two different types of soy. This is a common food allergy. Needless to say, I'll be flying with another airline for my trips to Alaska, as this is not my only one planned."
Cons: "Free white wine is not a benefit when it is served warm and is poor quality. I Don't normally drink wine with ice, but thought that ice may improve the flavor. Flight attendant snapped at me "we don't have ice"! i don't fly Alaska Air often so not sure if the lack of ice was a one time thing or they never offer ice On short flights (SEA-PDX) either way, It was not not drinkable. Flight attendant would not take it back because she said she didnt have garbage. Did not offer me an alternative aka water! I was stuck holding a ful glass of warm wine until she came back around."

Cons: "One particular flight attendant purposely ignored me when I tried to ask for cream and sugar for my coffee which she did not offer when handing out drinks. Then she looked right at me twice as I tried to give her my garbage which she was collecting, but she ignored me again and left me holding my garbage until a different flight attendant came much later and took it without incident. It made me wonder if it was because I looked Asian- she was helpful and polite to the white women next to me. I was polite and was not being difficult in any way. I'm half white, but was often treated like this in Illinois when I was growing up. She should have been professional and if she had I would have rated the trip as excellent."
Pros: "Arriving in Seattle my bag was waiting for me at the claim area. After 45+ years of flying around the world that was a first. But something happened before we took off. The gentleman in the seat in front of me had packed some oxygen bottles in his bags and a handler came onboard to address this. He was polite and very understanding that the man was meeting a cruise ship in Seattle and needed them as life support. The handler took an address from him and said he would take the bottles to Fedex near the airport and sent them to him. And the passenger could send him the money later! I thin k the handler's name was Bob. He needs a commendation foe going the extra mile for a passenger! Find him and buy him dinner."
Cons: "Having to get my seat assignment at the gate just increases my anxiety with the entire flying experience. Stop it. I get there 1.5 hours early to wait at the gate uncertain of weather I will be flying that day. As usual with all airlines seat comfort was non existent."

Cons: "Check in staff at Assistance counters either had problems with their computers or couldn't understand reservations. We had a pet for which we had paid for round trip reservation months ago, yet agent took quite awhile to reconcile our reservations. We stood in line for nearly a half hour during which their were very long lines at each check in point and at least one or two agents left on breaks while the lines were still very long. At Burbank the agents were fast, accurate and there were almost no waiting. The flight itself was great and the flight attendants were excellent; but not impressed at all with check in at Seattle."

Cons: "We were on row 33 d,e, & f. Seats d & e would not recline. The button on seat d was broken. As annoying as that was, there were 3 unaccompanied minors sitting in front of us. Two of them were fine. The third one on the isle seat was up and down, in and out of his seat the majority of the flight. I couldn't sleep. This was my second flight of the day after staying in Seattle for 7 hours waiting between my flights. The kid was loud and it seemed like the crew couldn't correct him. He just did as he pleased. I wasn't the only passenger who had a problem with him. And apparently the crew did as well. I paid a lot of money for that flight and he ruined it for me. If they are going to fly children like that, the crew should be able to correct them so the other passengers can have a pleasant flight."

Cons: "Ugh where to start. First my flight from Oakland was delayed an hour, and while they did rebook me a flight (with a 3-hour layover in Seattle), they couldn't keep me in a first-class seat and didn't offer anything to compensate for that. This was my first time (and probably last time) treating myself to a first-class flight, and I was kind of looking forward to that seat...although I understand if flights are full.. When I arrived (an hour late) in Seattle, the gate was shown as N2, about ten thousand miles away from my debarking gate in the C section. After walking halfway there, I stopped at an Alaska desk to AGAIN verify info and ask if someone could PLEASE CHECK and see if I could keep my first-class seating, since I PAID for one originally and the delay was airline-based. They blandly told me the flights were full and everyone had checked in already, and then mentioned that the gate had been changed BACK to C section, so hike back another 5000 miles to where I started. Wait three hours. I did check in at the gate as well, yet again, to beg with my best smiley-face and see if the girls could find me a first class spot or put me on standby, since I PAID for it. They said, sadly, no it's all full and checked in. Wait and wait. When I finally did board, I noticed that the info board said that "two upgrade requests" had been filled. What? Seriously? Is that MY FIRST CLASS SEAT YOU JUST GAVE SOMEONE? *frowns slightly* Walked through the already-seated first-class cabin, noticing that TWO OF THEM are empty. I was seated in the middle between a regular dude and this woman who is apparently running her company and having a conference call loudly on her phone, right in my ear. So yes, we understand: She's important. After sitting for a few minutes, I finally buzzed an attendant, who finally arrived, and asked her AGAIN, if she could please check if there any first class seats open, because that is what I PAID FOR and I'd appreciate finishing my trip as it was origanally booked. She said she'd check. AND THEN DISAPPEARED FOREVER. Never did see her again. A few minutes later, yet another attendant walked down the aisle with a clipboard, checking for open seats and I'm thinking she's coming to tell me that yes, there's been an opening and one of those 2 empty seats is mine and please go ahead and move. But no. She walks on by and says something about adding more standby people to some empty seats. I'm literally biting my tongue. Then, before I can say anything, these TWO GUYS come flailing down the gangway and bail into the two lovely EMPTY first-class seats in front of me. *scowl* I'm sorry, but unless they were late getting to the plane, and those were actually their seats (could be true), this whole thing was handled very strangely. I never fly first class anyway, and I understand delays and full flights, but it would have been nice to have anyone even attempt to help me finish my trip in the class that I had PAID FOR."
Cons: "Flying with my husband and daughter. All of our seats were split apart even after calling to fix the issue. When I went up to the counter, the lady told me too bad, she couldn't ask someone in an isle seat to switch, but I could do it myself if I wanted. My daughter is 2, can't exactly sit by herself. Food service didn't begin until almost 2 hours into a 3 hour flight but it was in no way due to turbulence. After food service, no trash service came around until about a half hour before landing. Slowest moving crew I have ever seen in my life. Also, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. I will never fly Alaska again."

Cons: "While the pilot was taking us to the runway before takeoff, there were some noises that could be heard in the roof. I was scared. My dad was sitting in front of me, and when we got off the plane he told me he heard the noises too, and saw some passengers that looked worried who heard the noise as well. My dad works with airplanes, and he said it might have been the panels overhead rattling that was making the noise. Other than that, the flight was okay, but i think the aircraft should be checked out."
Pros: "The customer service got us on the next available flight. Didn't charge us for our baggage (which they could have). Staff were helpful and realized that we were bone tired (after being awake for over 30 hours). Flight was easy. Crew was nice. Easy access to baggage when we got to PDX. I love Alaska Airlines!"

Cons: "Flew from Seattle to Reno. Originally booked on a flight from Seattle to Portland and Portland to Reno. After I checked in, I saw a direct flight to Reno, and Alaska was able to switch my flight for only $25, but failed to get my luggage on the correct flight (with over an hour before my flight left), so I still ended up waiting at the Reno airport for two hours until my originally ticketed flight came in with my bags. What would have been an awesome experience became a miserable one, with the bonus that I paid extra for the treatment."

Cons: "I was sent to the wrong city making my flight time more tiring and longer from Washington D.C. to Seattle to Portland to Honolulu. I was told I would get a $25.00 waiver and did not. Mean while the representative never asked me for id. On the return home I explained to the representative what had happened she kindly apologized for the rep not asking for my id and also saying she would give me a waiver that did not happen so the rep waived my baggage fee on my departure back. Unfortunately I ended up loosing my wallet during my layover because I was overwhelmed with going to a city that was never a part of my itinerary. On the way back to Washington D.C there was massive turbulence but the staff at Alaska airline did not make an announcement or serve any kind of drink for the first four hours. Finally the last hour and twenty minutes people finally came around. Overall I am turned off with the customer service I received,"
Pros: "Overall as expected. Decent flight, nothing that made me go "wow", but on time, clean, reasonable boarding."
Cons: "I found the reaction of one of the flight attendants to be unprofessional. When I asked if she could pour a bit of water into my water bottle, rather than say, "I'm sorry, I am not allowed" or "unfortunately, no" or really anything verbal, she made a "tsk, tsk" face and offered me a plastic cup. Besides being annoyingly wasteful as a policy (if indeed it is one - this has not been an issue on other airlines), her customer service skills left something to be desired. This strange interaction left me with a poor overall impression of the flight experience."

Cons: "The heat was high, we asked the male steward many times to request the heat turned down, people were removing as much clothing as possible. It was very hot and sticky and smelly. The descent to landing was to fast when near the runway, and we crashed hard like a carrier landing. I would inspect the gear and wing spats for cracks. The fuselage bowed like a banana, it was evident looking down the tube sitting the back. How about a breathalyzer or something, everybody knows the drunken pilots, the can't be fired and they know it, so it takes years to sober them up at our expense. The pilots who've been caught drinking are not trying to get better, they just whine that the others who haven't been caught yet are even worse drunks. Everybody who flys on Alaska has heard it from the same old Alaska born drunken pilots. How about less drunken bush piloting and get your drunken pilots who've been busted in the last few years to shut up and stop telling everyone that all Alaska pilots are drunks as defense of there drunkeness."
Cons: "I carry photo equipment in a carry on bag because of expense, damage control and temperature control. Unfortunately I can not leave it for baggage people to handle (although I would love to.) When I got my carry on to the greeting flight attendant I explained I had just finished a shoot and I was sorry that I needed to keep the bag as carry on. Flight Attendant: there was nothing she could do and I needed to go back down the stairs, even though people were still boarding and leave it with the baggage people. Me: "In the past the flight attendant put the bag in that closet." (I pointed to the locked closet where they keep their bags.) Flight Attendant: I cant open it because it's locked. Me: "The key is kept there." (I pointed to where the key is kept. I know because I've done this trip so many times before.) Flight Attendant: "See if it will fit under your seat." It did... but I had my knees in my chin for the entire flight. Thanks, Ann"
Pros: "The northwest deli box was good. Boarding was very efficient."
Cons: "They ran out of the hot meal about 1/4 way down the aisle. The seats are not comfortable for a 5 hour flight. The bathrooms were pretty gross and smelled strongly of urine. There was dried urine all down the front of both toilets and on the floor in both bathrooms I used on the plane. Some of the crew seemed very new/ immature and unprofessional. Specifically, and I apologize for not knowing names, the blonde man made strange comments to people, maybe out of nervousness? The blonde woman on the flight seemed to have a short temper with her coworkers and was very short with them, granted she did get run into by both the beverage and food cart in the middle of the plane multiple times, so she was probably pretty annoyed at that. I fly Alaska Airlines most of the time, and this experience was unusual."
Pros: "Boarding was super fast and easy. We even had to wait because boarding was done, but had to wait for our departure time. Rarely see that. The pilot pointed out varies sites along the way (haven't heard a pilot do that in years). The crew was very polite and professional"
Cons: "I use airline apps to see what baggage claim I need to go to, because airport monitors are usually too far away for me to see them. And for this particular trip the video boards weren't working.. This made it even harder to figure out what baggage claim to go to. And there were few announcements about it. By the time I heard an announcement most of the bags from the flight were being taking off the carousel by an airline rep. Putting the baggage claim on the app, I think, would have made it a better experience."
Cons: "I purchased an Am Airlines ticket operated by Alaska Airlines. This created some issues in check-in, etc/ process. I was given an American conf # but was not able to check-in online on either American or Alaska airlines. Once I called to get the Alaskan conf # I was still unable to check-in with anyone other than an agent F2F as airport. Additionally, no Alaska flight number information was provide on tickets or confirmation so finding appropriate baggage claim, etc became a hunting exercise. Limited food options or in-flight enteratainment for a long flight (5+hours). Inflight entertainment options were limited. You can use your own device with limited free TV programming. Movie rentals and popular TV shows are $3-6 a piece. Device rental is $10."
Pros: "On the ground ..TSA said I needed a new boarding pass..3 kiosck wouldn't. Work. Friendly re sent me to Alaska desk where they printed me a new boarding pass but when I went to TSA. I had no passport. Sooooo..back to t he Alaska desk and a wonderful rep named Diane helped me hunt through all my "stuff"...then began talking to all reps helping process passengers. She never gave up. And found my passport at the desk that had made me a new boarding pass. I was so upset I couldn't think straight but she did!, many thanks to this kind lady."

Cons: "I paid extra $$ to buy a ticket that was labeled as a "Direct Flight" from Seattle to Los Cabos, Mexico, as opposed to a flight with a layover, since my wife and I were headed there for our honeymoon. Alaska Airlines made no mention whatsoever that this flight was not at all direct, but in fact had a 2 hour layover in San Diego. There was no mention of this during the purchase process, and we didn't find out about the layover in San Diego until were were ALREADY AT OUR TERMINAL GATE. This is very deceiving and absolutely unacceptable."

Cons: "My Seat 23D had a defective TV, so it was flashing on and off constantly throughout the whole flight, usually I don't have an issue with the entertainment because I like to sleep during flights, but due to some turbulence I was awake for part of the flight. Unfortunately with the flashing TV it gave me pretty bad nausea to the point of wanting to vomit, this is the first time I've experienced anything like this on a plane, was definitely looking forward to landing so I didn't have this nauseating feeling anymore. I have a video of the issue if anyone at Jetblue was interested in seeing. It was flight 499 from LGA to Orlando on 9-16-18. Thanks."

Refused to allow me to request my seat ahead of time to try and charge a $50 fee for an upgraded seat, even though by purchasing a ticket, I am guaranteed a seat on the plane. 3. Late once again. So far every flight taken by JetBlue this year has been late. My only on time flight this year has been with Delta. I do believe they are the new Spirit Airlines in disguise. This airline has been moved to the bottom of my list. I may take them once more but it depends on how many points I have with them, if it's enough to cover a free trip. If it doesn't, I will forfeit as the aggravation and nasty behaviour at the check in counter especially at LaGuardia is too much to take. They are also every discriminatory at that airport also, especially the people who work at JetBlue. I have to take responsibility for keep trying. It the same as beating a dead horse and expecting it to get up and run."

After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

They also realized the plane was full so offered customers the free option of checking a bag in cargo. I would have preferred if they advised customers before checking through security of this option as I would have taken it rather than discard with some bottled products. The entertainment video was great on board, they offered free beverages and snacks. The crew moved through the aisle fast and efficiently when dispersing the food, and again when collect the refuse. While we had a little turbulence, the flight was uneventful and the pilot handled the landing very well. Departing the plane was also fast and efficient, although takes time because the plane was full. Overall, I was impressed with JetBlue, and their flight team."

I also noticed that the chair head area didn't have a removable sanitary cover, which I thought should be there considering the number and frequency of change overs per seat on these flights. There was an enormous line at LAX trying to check in and check bags. Fortunately the staff were accommodating and allowed us to check our bags even after the deadline had passed -- but it was definitely an extremely stressful experience!

We flew First Class to LA from Denver on the Delta-branded contract airline - Sky West. On the way back, we flew First Class on a Delta Airlines owned jet, and the experience was so much better. The flights should have been comparable; but unfortunately cost-cutting by Sky West was evident.

The terminal on my ticket was different than the gate number. We went through security and had to take a 15 min shuttle to a different terminal. Why not just go through security there? There were also no attendants at the gate to discuss seat assignments. My husband and I didn’t have seats together. Try on board crew was great, but the airport experience was lacking.

I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June."

I followed the baggage allowance explained on kayak website and on Aerolineas Argentinas. I took a bicycle which is free and i pay $100 to packed it as Aerolineas wanted. When I arrived it was a Delta flight and they told they don't allow bicycles and that i had to play $150. Aerolineas website and kayak clearly says that bicycles were free on my flight. I show the agent my ticket and that no where it said delta to consider what he was saying since it is an alliance but i was not informed about it. He said no and after wait there for a while before boarding i kindly ask to speak with a supervisor and the denied it and disappeared. I request a refund of my fee to you for providing incorrect information."

Cons: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Pros: "The flight was nearly full, but I lucked out. One person in my row did not show up, so myself and the other lady in my row had the benefit of having an open seat in between us. The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"

The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Got back to SD 4 hours after scheduled time."

LAX->MEX flight delayed by 30mins, 1hr change time. Everybody relaxed just me loosing all my boozy contraband as i had no choice but to put my registered luggage thru security."

Cons: "This was an almost 6 hour long flight, LAX to OGG. The aircraft was older and for a 6 hour flight, they really should use a bigger and newer aircraft. The entertainment systems on the back of the seat worked sporadically and the PA system was too loud and every time the PA system was used while we had our headsets on, it was excruciating We had no warning in order to remove our headsets before it blasted into our ears. We were amazed that after paying a considerable sum for our tickets and being in the air for 6 hours, there was limited meal service and we were required to purchase a sandwich in order to eat. I fly Delta frequently and this was by far the worse flight I can remember."
Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15."

I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

Cons: "While my experience with Virgin Australia was good, I will not book with them due to the co-share with Delta Airlines. I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."

Cons: "Firstly check in was a nightmare, travelling on a Virgin Australia Flight from LAX - BNE and a connecting flight BNE - PPP (Proserpine) all with Virgin Australia, and they claim they don't have the ability to tag your luggage the whole way through??? (I understand I have to collect it on arrival into another country and then take to a bag drop) but with the same airline they claim they can't do this? I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. I specifically remember the seat selection screen being extremely misleading and thought that I had selected seats when in fact I didn't according to Delta. Maybe instead of focusing your website on getting customers to upgrade their seats you should focus on getting them a seat first. Secondly make sure tickets can't be purchased unless a seat is assigned first. Who would want to buy standby tickets 3 months in advance? I'm guessing not many people."

Great flight

Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase.

Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

Food, there has got to be something else out there other than pretzels, I understand why we do not have peanuts, but a little bit more variety would be very nice. I understand there's a cost tractor, but often pretzels tend to be fairly stale. Short flights entertainment."

I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked."

The passengers behind him had tray tables down and video games out and when she addressed them it was in a respectful manner, but when addressing my husband, it was disrespectful and unprofessional. Seemed to be discrimination as she did not treat any other passengers like this. I wish I would have captured this on video to share with American Airlines as I do not think they would condone her behavior. Her name was Marlene and she needs additional training regarding customer service."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

And he told us it would take 10 minutes. It took an hour and a half!!!!!!!It completely derailed my connection flight. I missed it and was rescheduled, but wasn't told anything. I get to my new connection flight - that wasn't leaving for another 2 hours mind you - and ask the lady about my bag, because I was nervous it wouldn't get there with the flight change. Her response - "Well, they knew where you were going, right?""

My family in Arizona didn’t have a printer to print our return flight tickets, so I took a screenshot of our tickets on my phone. Apparently, when you go through security they enlarge the QR code, which makes it blurry, so it can’t be scanned. We had to go back to the check in desk and pay $5 for each ticket to be printed. Lesson learned, print out all flight tickets before you leave.

Flight was full. Flight crew was chippy and acted like they didn't want to be there. Lady at the boarding gate was same way.
