The boarding was fairly good, the flight attendants were efficient & patient, we had a decent snack for food, the arrival was smooth. Very happy with my overall experience!

Needed a bit of help to gate. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The crew on the flight was amazing.

The only thing I had issue with was the screaming 2-3 year old behind me who decided at the beginning and end of our trip we needed to listen to her literally scream at the top of her lungs and throw a huge tantrum- it had nothing to do with ear pressure. Nothing the air line can do about that. SMH. Crew and all employees were fantastic

Alaska was fine. My issue is with the booking via Kayak. The seating charts I picked seats from were wrong, I chose window seats (E) but those were actually middle seats on the plane.

Start with the boarding experience. Our flight from Seattle to Dulles Airport in Virginia was delayed because of mechanical issues with the aircraft. Nothing we could do about that. But the board in the passenger gate waiting area gave a boarding time with the delay, and we watched that. The waiting area was large, and we could not understand anything the gate attendant announced. By the time we four passenger realized the aircraft was boarding before the displayed time, we had missed our board-first opportunity (we were flying full-price First Class) and we were behind all the "Category B" boarders. we had one carry-on bag, and when we finally reached our row, all the overhead bins were full. The flight attendant had to remove some stuff to make room for our bag. He also announced that anyone on the flight could stuff their bag wherever they chose. Second, the food was terrible. I don't believe I have ever had choices that were so poorly conceived, especially in First Class, and I have flown to sixty-five countries. Third, the aircraft itself, a Boeing 737-900, is a pitiful excuse for comfort. Unlike the Airbus on which we flew to-and-from Honolulu to Seattle, the seats did not recline much, and other than a bit more leg room, there was no advantage to having paid the premium to fly Fist Class. I can assure you that we will never willingly fly Alaska Airlines again.

When they needed volunteers to check in bags they let you board with C group.

Stewards were kind. Very generous with the refreshment service. First time flying with Alaska.

It was difficult in SNA to hear the gate announcements due to muffled voice and fire alarm ringing.

They reassigned my aisle seat to someone else without noticing me and gave me a middle seat....
