Pros: "It was average"
Cons: "My connections were tight from the start. Then when the flight from Vancouver was late leaving, it caused me to come very, very close to missing my CVG connection. I had to find & clear customs before I could even go to my gate. Getting thru customs was like being in a maze. I showed my passport 4 times in the process & finally someone helped me to fill out the electronic form. I made it to my gate in the nick of time just as they were ready to close the door. They radioed ahead to let 2 more people on that plane. Then I get on and someone is sitting in the seat that I previously purchased. The flight attendant didn't make them move either. Air Canada's practices suck! I will never fly Air Canada again."
Pros: "Easy to board and pass through customs on the way to Canada. Crew was nice. Overall a pretty average flight."
Cons: "Entertainment system was broken for my seat. Screen wouldn't work properly. This was a problem in every seat I sat in."
Pros: "The food was phenomenal for airplane food, the best I've had in 100s of flights! The flight was half empty, so taking over 3 seats to lie down was nice :) Very efficient boarding process at the Montreal airport, with updated wait times and fast moving line."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled due to weather where the arriving plane was coming from. Apparently no other planes or crew were available to fill in. Interestingly, my daughter in Minneapolis knew before we did that our flight was cancelled. Poor communication. My son who was traveling with me was able to get help from Fatima on the "white phone". She got us to Winnipeg on a midnight flight and we then booked a $1400 Delta flight to Minneapolis from there. We needed to be there by 10 am to attend the legal adoption ceremony of my daughter's infant son. It was very close but we made it. Sorry to say but flying is no longer a pleasurable, exciting experience. Janet Davis"
Pros: "The crew were polite and friendly."
Cons: "It was a 3-hour flight, so there was no entertainment."
Pros: "It was good flight experience. Friendly staff and comfortable flight."
Cons: "The entertainment system was very old and kept freezing. It was difficult to use."
Pros: "Plane was quiet enough to sleep"
Cons: "A couple people left their window blinds open so the midnight sun kept the cabin brighter than necessary"
Pros: "It was a fast flight."
Cons: "Leg room."
Cons: "Economy seats are very small and tight. Food is average at best. Crew is semi-friendly/"
Cons: "My original flight was delayed by 3 hours, causing me to miss my connecting flight. Instead of arriving at 9:30 at my final destination I arrived at 1:30 am. Exhausted."
Cons: "No wifi"
Pros: "The crew was very helpful. They gave me some medicine when I got a headache."
Cons: "One piece of my chicken tasted weird, chewy, and just not like food should be. The rest of it was ok."

Pros: "Boarding pass are checked 4 times before taking off"
Cons: "Long line at the airport only 2 stations open"
Pros: "The plane was clean & the crew was courteous"
Cons: "There was no decaf coffee or tea, very limited food to buy on board, & no free cookies, crackers or nibbles. Definitely a no frills flight!!"
Pros: "Price was good and flights arrived timely"
Cons: "It's a typical new aircraft that is crowded when full"
Cons: "Need a bigger seat on a long flight and more leg room."
Cons: "Small plane. Poor service. rough landing"
Pros: "Good entertainment"
Cons: "The flight attendants were not very polite. One of them spilled one of the dinners right next to me and hardly cleaned it up. I waited for her to come back to clean it but a few hours later, I just cleaned it myself (even though she spilled all of it)."
Pros: "We had lots of leg room unlike the Air Canada Rouge flight that we took from Toronto ON to Kelowna BC. Also very little table on the rouge flight."
Pros: "Good in flight entertainment options"
Cons: "My hour and a half flight from SFO to Vancouver was two hours late"
Pros: "Crew was nice."
Pros: "On time/boarding by zone prevents unnecessary gathering at the boarding area."
Cons: "Air Canada Boarding agent was rude when I inquired about taking an earlier flight. Her reply was, "The boarding for this earlier flight has now closed- even if I were able to get you on, you would be paying a change fee". I'm tired of the attitude of many of the Air Canada boarding agents."
Pros: "Seat had decent leg room, but had to pay an additional $60+ dollars for it."
Cons: "Paying for food on a flight that's over 5 hours is very poor form. Food was of very poor quality. Beverage service came around once early on and then not again until almost landing. Asked for another beverage about half way through the flight and it never came. Plane was dirty."
Cons: "Flight was delayed over 4 hours due to Air Canada needing a mechanic to check and sign off on the tire tread on one of the wheels, the ground staff enforced the carry-on bag size arbitrarily and inconsistently, and the entertainment system froze up and reset itself at least 3 times on the flight. Apart from the captain, the rest of the Air Canada staff exhibited the usual bureaucratic and defensive behavior I have unfortunately seen multiple times before. They're expensive (with a nasty computer algorithm that raises the price by over $100 each time you browse flights. The first time I checked, it was $300+; by the 3rd time it was over $600. When I used a VPN, the price magically went down to $300 plus, which was still a lot) and the experience is generally unpleasant. I have to brace myself for their lack of common sense behavior every time I deal with them. If I didn't have to fly with them, I wouldn't."
Pros: "Some good movies"
Cons: "Ran out of both dinner and breakfast options, for whatever was left."
Pros: "Crew was moderately attentive"
Cons: "Boarding at the Toronto airport was an absolute mess. One of the "gentlemen" scanning tickets was moderately rude to people waiting to board. Which I mean, I get it, it's a rough job, but dude. I don't wanna be here any more than you do. Stow the attitude and scan the ticket. The food was eh, but that's all airline food. There isn't much space between seats so you're bumping elbows most of the ride, and during a 13 hour flight, that gets old real quick."
Pros: "The staff offered a hotel and voucher for for 24hr delay but I was still unable to make up for lost travel time."
Cons: "I missed my connecting flight to Dublin because the plane was delayed nearly three hours. I received a new ticket for 24hours after my oringial connecting flight. When I arrived in Dublin my baggage had been placed on the wrong flight."
Pros: "That we arrived on time"
Cons: "The food was terrible, the service was grumpy, and one of the carts hit my shoe so hard that it tore it."
Pros: "Everyone was very courteous to us. Very little turbulence on trip. Flying is very easy today more than Even 5 years ago. I will fly again on Air Canada"
Cons: "Small basic meals"
Cons: "Flight was great. Kayak was a nightmare to work with."
Pros: "Decent flight"
Cons: "Delays are part of travel, but they're ridiculous and I am unhappy with the delay leaving Minneapolis. It caused all sorts of problems down the line because it caused me to miss my connection, take different flights, and come into Munich much later than I had expected. Also, you Canadians don't have Sudoku in your magazines. Why?"
Pros: "that the crew was friendly"
Cons: "food was awful"
Pros: "Newer plane, clean bathrooms for most of the flight. Good food choices for meals."
Cons: "No amenities like eye mask, ear plugs, toothbrush etc. No snacks between meals except for pretzels. Armrest buttons get pressed all the time by accident."
Pros: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings!"
Cons: "Flight delayed 2hrs without proper notification."
Cons: "Air Canada cancelled my boarding pass even though I made it to the gate before boarding started and refused to put me back on the flight. Then they lost my bags. The Toronto airport is a mess - avoid it if at all possible."
Pros: "The extra legroom for economy plus seats"
Cons: "The food was tiny and not good"
Pros: "The crew and the entertainment were excellent."
Cons: "The seating area is very tight and the aisles were extremely narrow."
Cons: "Serving something substantial to eat would be nice."
Pros: "The flight was smooth and the crew was nice."
Cons: "Everything was good."
Pros: "Salmon and rice."
Cons: "Tvs not working and staff pretending as if they would fix it but actually the problem been going for a while with that airplane. The pizza should not only be a vegetarian one ."
Pros: "Honestly, don’t care for this airline. There’s always some hiccups with boarding, ride staff, mediocre cabin, etc."
Cons: "Why do they always want to check bags that are your everyday carryon items (large purse, medium backpac, etc.), but allow people to carryon their larger carry on suitcases filling up the overhead bins. Those are the people they should be making check their “carry-one.” And then be rude about it on top of that."
Cons: "There HAS to be a different snack choice than just salted pretzels, right? Not everyone is a fan of those. And although it may have been a last-minute issue, learning that there was no WiFi as we ascended 10,000’ into the air was quite disappointing. No techie around to troubleshoot that while we were boarding? Otherwise, the flight was uneventful and the crew was pleasant enough."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly. Only a couple delays."
Cons: "The ease of travel."
Pros: "Great. they upgraded us to First since my husband was silver premier"
Pros: "For an extremely late gate arrival, United personnel were very accommodating."
Cons: "One flight attendant was more than curt and impatient when taking food orders. Cabin announcement told passengers to check menu in setback pocket. There was no menu. Attendant didn't offer one until another passenger who overheard conversation requested menu. As a frequent United traveler BOS > SFO, normally a 5-6 hour flight, attendants always seem to be rushing, brusque."
Cons: "The food was terrible."
Pros: "Full flight, we got on smoothly and took off on time. The plane was clean and the pilots during abbouncekents were easy to understand and funny."
Cons: "I had to wait over 1.5 hours to use the bathroom because of the food and drink carts. The flight attendant would not let me use first clsss and told me I had to wait. That was way to long to make someone wait."
Pros: "Typical intercontinental flight in coach. Plenty of movies to watch, bin space and comfortable enough seats."
Cons: "I have a severe food allergy and despite requesting and confirming my special meal multiple times I was only offered a banana for the entire trip."
Cons: "Honestly, I am not a big fan of United right now and their airline policies. The flight was delayed for a hour. But at least I wasn't dragged off the plane or stuck in 95 degree weather for 5 hours."
Cons: "The bathrooms were dirty out of toilet paper. The food was mediocre at best. The delight wasn't delayed hours and no one informed us about the status at any point in time. Overall I did not like airchina and I would not choose them again if"
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "How they wouldn't even hand out a cup of water to anyone....."
Cons: "Flights was delayed and connection was unable to be made. My younger brother is now im limbo in newark nj and is not getting much help at all. Very dissapointed in united. He may have to spend the night in the airport they said. Smh"
Cons: "Our plane departed on time, 6:05 AM. About 6:40 A E turned back towards Boston. There was a problem with the wing. It got repaired. We deplaned. And waited. And waited. Then we needed fuel to be removed. And we waited. And waited. Then we got back on board, got to the runway, and the RIGHT ENGINE didn't start. So they tried to repair it, couldn't (didn't want to fly on that old, broken plane anyway at this point), and we had our flight canceled. All told, I spent 10+ hours at Logan Airport. It was an absolute disaster."
Cons: "they have the worst customer service."
Cons: "Our flight home we couldn't land in Chicago due to storms and diverted to Madison. Sat on Tarmac 2 hours and some passengers from Madison allowed to end journey there. We had to wait for that approval and again had to wait for their luggage to be removed from the plane. My opinion is let them disembark but not the luggage. It was too long to be in that plane"
Pros: "It was a comfy plane ride."
Cons: "I liked everything."
Pros: "Crew was helpful, professional & kind."
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to air traffic control issues so I only had 40 min layover to get to my next gate. Also when we arrived we were on the ground for a long time before we could pull up to gate to unload. I have a 3 yr old & 5 yr old & had to run to make it. We made it but luggage didn't. My first luggage was delivered quickly, the 2nd luggage arrived 3 days after we arrived home."
Cons: "Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."
Cons: "Unreliable wifi."
Pros: "Crew friendliness"
Cons: "Boarding was a mess with an adjacent gate exiting at the time of boarding creating a melee of people crossing queues. You have a carry-on baggage policy - stick to it. I wasn't carrying any roll-ons or large items but many of my fellow passengers were carrying multiple items in the hope of either getting them on or having them checked for free. Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking."
Pros: "Boarding was consistent and timely"
Cons: "Older, worn interior, especially if seats are pushed back"
Pros: "Getting off the plane"
Cons: "Bathrooms weren't working, huge lines in aisle, lackluster service. Overhead bins were full by Group 3. late takeoff."
Pros: "Did get last seat in business class!"
Cons: "The seat assigned online not valid because of change of equipment. Did result in upgrade to business. Very happy outcome."
Pros: "Broading was seamless"
Pros: "Very satisfied."
Pros: "I liked how the flight attendants treat people in this flight. Thank you all."
Cons: "I didn't like how long the flight was, but that is not up to anyone to decide. I liked my stayed in the airplane."
Pros: "Crew was very nice."
Cons: "Plane aisle was a tight squeeze with carry on bag plus seats were very close together, and I'm a small person at 5'1". Otherwise flight was good."
Pros: "Instead of a 4 hour layover in Denver, I was easily able to get on an earlier flight to slc thank you to such a wonderful front desk agent. Even the crew members on board were so pleasant you could tell they truly enjoy their job and want to make for an enjoyable flight. Thank you United!! Will be flying with you again!!"
Pros: "We were bumped up to economy plus where there are outlets available. Outlets are nice. The entertainment options were very good."
Pros: "Boarding was well organized"
Cons: "Crew is not very kind and the food is a bad joke. Not talking about quantity, just quality. Even if it's a small snack there should be better options"
Pros: "The complimentary movie, and the incredibly nice service."
Pros: "Plane was comfortable. Flight service was good."
Cons: "Flight was extremely delayed and an accurate timetable was not communicated well."
Pros: "we got there safely despite quite a bi of turbulance"
Cons: "turbulance and it took soooo long for the gate check luggage to be brought to us, several of us almost or did miss their connections. that was the first time it took soooo long."
Pros: "The airplane itself was great but the rest was not so good. United tries to sell you everything and the seating was miserable. We are back to JetBlue at first opportunity."
Pros: "Quality plane Clean"
Cons: "Seats too close together. My shoulders were squeezed against my neighbors"
Cons: "all the televisions were going on and off, on and off, doing this thing that said "searching" and they would go black, and then turn on again in a sequence that I can only describe as a blinking Christmas light pattern all over the plane. It gave me a huge migraine, and the woman next to me covered here TV with a scarf that barely blocked out the light in her face. It was extremely distracting and I couldn't even nap."
Pros: "I liked it was steady and smooth for the most part. Good service and entertainment."
Cons: "On the way back, last 20 minutes made me feel nauseous and the return flight also didn't have T.V."
Pros: "Getting home"
Cons: "4 hours in line to get my tickets changed 6 hours on hold to talk to a rep No available flights for 4 days when canceled due to weather Very disorganized staff in Boston no one knew where to go"
Cons: "Crew member that was boarding us promised my bag was on the plane but, it wasn't so it got lost."
Pros: "Arrived early. Friendly crews. :)"
Cons: "I'm used to quality service from JetBlue and Virgin America, so this was awful. Nothing was free--not even peanuts! I got a tiny cup of coca-cola for free and that was about it. The staff was curt and not very friendly, the flight was long and uncomfortable, and there was absolutely no on-board entertainment. For a $300 flight that normally costs $150 with other airlines, I don't know what I'm paying for."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "The reading light was so weak that it was impossible to read."
Pros: "Still waiting to get there.....canceled flight.....next option 6 days after my original date"
Cons: "The arm rests didn't got back, only affected row 37 (our row)"
