Travelers and airline crew must complete a Traveler's Health Declaration Form within 72 hours of boarding and present it upon arrival.
Quarantine requirements
Nationals of Brazil and their spouses, partners, children, parents or guardians of a national of Brazil and travelers with a permanent residence permit issued by Brazil who have been in or transited through South Africa or United Kingdom in the past 14 days are subject to quarantine for 14 days
Airline crew are subject to quarantine at a hotel until their next flight.
Transiting rules
Travelers are allowed to freely transit as long as they do not leave the international airport area and have a ticket for onward travel.

First time I ACTUALLY slept on a long haul flight. Chairs seemed to be made of soft leather or some other super comfy material. Puts the older US-based planes to absolute shame. Super soft fluffy blankets, the flight attendants were amazing, courteous, hospitable, the food and drinks were awesome, loved the movies. 10/10 would fly again."

Cons: "Azul cancelled the flight to Salvador without giving us any reason why. The sky was blue without a cloud in sight. I had another flight to catch in Salvador to bring me back to Miami and because the Salvador flight was cancelled I missed all my other flights and neither Azul or Tam wanted to help me get to my final destination. Azul offered to get me on a flight to Salvador the next day, but that did nothing for me since all of my other flights were scheduled for the day before. Long story short, I had to purchase a brand new flight for $1016. I paid for something that was not my fault and all anyone could say to me was, "I am sorry, there is nothing we can do for you" Words cannot express the rage, irritation and frustration I felt on that day."

I was able to board and travel but I had to sneak out of the actual line and show my visa appointment receipt to a latam staff person. It was very hard to talk to the staff most of them were just screaming "go to the line" and were not really keen to listening to what passengers had to say. I found a latam person that wasn't really dealing with this situation and managed to get him to talk to other latam staff about my visa appointment. It was pretty stressful for me to have to deal with the possibility of missing such an important event without a good reason."

Bus driver could not tell me for sure what time we were going to be picked up in the morning - maybe 6:30 AM? I was told. No one at the gate gave me this information either. I was ready at 6:15 AM and the bus was full. I waited for second bus. No breakfast at the hotel. Flight to Santiago was uneventful and crew during the flight were polite."

Cons: "I flew LAN many years ago and remembered this flight to be a lot better than it was this time around. The seats barely recline and in Economy leg room is comparable to AA flights going to South America (which is pretty bad). Forget about sleeping. I had some hopes for the food but it disappointed too. Breakfast, for example, was essentially a warm sandwich with a paper thin layer of ham and cheese. They stuff you with bread. Had a much better experience flying sister company TAM."
