Have plenty of patience for the casual travelers! They are oblivious of rules and etiquettes that slows down the process for everyone. Case in point, a guy held up the line trying to place both his personal item (should be UNDER the seat in front of you) and his carry on case horizontally. Obviously not aware of the big poster right in front of his displaying the proper way of placing his case on it's side. Slowed the whole line of people behind him. Also be mindful the agents in Ontario airport (or any smaller airports) might not be the most knowledgeable on the rules and regulations of air travel, luggage specification allowances etc. Stay patient!! Also the seats do not recline that well anymore on AA flights. So if you have back problems, be sure to bring some back supports.

Avoid Charlotte. The mountain weather is so unpredictable, plus the poor recent airline scheduling services, you will be stranded in the mountain with small airport, with limited alternative transportation methods. The airlines had been delaying the flights and stringing you for a few hours, then cancelling your flights and simply letting you re-schedule your own next legs with the existing flights, which may or may not take off. Airlines have not been courteous enough to schedule more flights to accommodate the canceled ones. If you cannot avoid Charlotte, be prepared to be stranded for extra 1-2 days before you can get out to your final destination.

I don’t recommend American. When we got to Charolette my bag was on the carousel, but they already pulled my girlfriend’s luggage to a different area. The monitor for the carousel that our luggage was on didn’t work so we didn’t know where our luggage was going to be. Very frustrating.

If there are issues with the plane you could be there a long time. We were there for over 4 hrs. Missed connecting flights. Be proactive. If you are going to miss your connecting flight ask if you can be rerouted. Don’t accept poor customer service. Remember. They are not looking out for you. Be proactive.

I'm happy with American. I don't travel enough on other domestic airlines. My experience with BA, Swiss, Emirates, and Lufthansa is obviously superior, but that's to be expected. I wouldn't expect that level of service and comfort from American. That said, my American miles go a long way and I've had a lot of decent low cost trips.

Great staff. Wifi is terrible. Signing up for skylines is a painstaking process. Had to call customer service just to get my flight itinerary and confirmation sent to me. Consistent delays. A well staffed company that is run so poorly. Upper management needs to be renewed.

I loved having a most black flight crew during Black History Month; rather by design or accident I appreciated the representation. ❤️

We boarded but then sat there waiting on some missed connection people to get on so we sat for about 15 minutes for that. Then we sat again because the passenger manifest was wrong and they had to figure it out before we could leave. That took about another 20 minutes or so. The crew was working hard to figure it out so it’s not their fault. It ended up being a system glitch where someone was upgraded to first class while another person was also in the same seat and it just created a mess that took a little while to figure out. They literally went to every person on the plane asking their names to see who was sitting in the wrong seat. I also hate the entertainment that must be watched on your phone or tablet. Just give us setback screens. It’s so much better. Almost every Delta flight has this now and it is so nice to have them. The crew did a great job. I have no complaints from them. They were very hard working, even with the mishap and a disgruntled passenger.

Overall poor for me I paid extra for seats with leg room and my regional flights exit row seats have less leg room then the others that's money that could have been saved and on my final flight home the flights air was not operating it was unbearably hot in the cabin I will be contacting United and filing a DOT complaint

My priority checked bag was not loaded on the flight. I had to sit in baggage claim in Las Vegas for 2 1/2 hours waiting for the next flight. All baggage staff were very helpful, tracking showed it as scanned for loading. Nobody told me why it wasn't on my flight.

My flight was scheduled for about 6:05 departure. There were 11 gate changes from 4-7pm and the flight was 3 hours delayed due to operational issues. The plane taxied around the airport for about half an hour before stopping to be de-iced. It would have been nice if we were alerted of the plan to de-ice prior to the 30 minute drive around the airport. The flight attendant was friendly, which was the only redeeming thing about this flight. As a former flight attendant for United, I was extremely disappointed.

Delays took 2hours and thirty minutes making me miss my connecting flight and make me sit in the Chicago airport for 9 hours

Had a short delay once we boarded the aircraft in Chicago, but it was fixed in no time flat then we were on our way. The pilot was able to make up the time lost and we landed 5 minute later then schedualed . Great service

Pilot Erika DeLong made us feel safe and at ease in a frankly scary time to be flying. Her warm smile and greeting and excellent command of the aircraft in foggy bumpy weather helped us all to calm our nerves and get us home safely.

I don’t understand the purpose of the orange “priority” tag on my bag. This tagged, my bag is last or near to the last bag to come down the carousel at IAH.

The tv monitor in front of my seat was not responding. The flight crew reset it and it still didn’t work.

The agents was very rude and they charged me $50 for a carry-on bag saying that it was too big and then I saw someone going on a plane with the same size bag as me

I didn’t like anything, being platinum pro get you absolutely nowhere and does not increase the customer service treatment whatsoever anymore. My flight was canceled and they put me on a flight eight hours later that would’ve got me back in the middle of the night. They could’ve easily move me up to an hour Prior on an earlier flight. My second flight was unreasonable to take, the third flight was also canceled due to mechanical issues like the first flight. I don’t know what’s going on with American, but they are falling apart, after seven flight changes I finally got home, Unreasonable.

The flight was delayed leaving Miami. When we arrived in Charlotte, we were unable to park at our scheduled gate. We had to wait another 30-45 minutes before we could park at a different gate. All in all, we were delayed by almost two hours arriving in Charlotte.

Everything was great except it became so hot on the plane I couldn’t sleep on my red eye flight. It didn’t really cool down till we started descending.

They changed my seat from one that I had paid for as an upgrade to a regular seat at the last minute.

It was so bad it will be my last. Connecting flight gate agent closed the door in my face when i told her my husband is 30 seconds away (and we were running close/late because the preceding AA flight was slightly delayed. We had to be rebooked on a non-direct flight with an overnight layover in Phoenix. This is the worst experience ever and for no fault of our own. The flight we were trying to get on would not have been late if the gate agent allowed my husband to get there. It was senseless, cruel and very upsetting. I don’t understand why we were subjected to this.

This was my first experience with Spirit. The flight was originally delayed because of mechanical problems. There was a major storm moving through our area later in the day. Spirit kept changing the gate and taking the plane for other flights. They did this 6 times until we left 7 hours later, right at the worse time. I am sure it is because they originally delayed the flight through their fault. They would have had to pay for everybody's hotel and later flight. It was a money decision. The pilot did an exceptional job flying and landing the plane in horrific weather. It was one of the roughest and shakiest landings that I have ever done in my extensive flying experience. I just can never go through this discount BS again. Spirit gave us a $30 voucher each for next travel and a $12 meal voucher... but that's nothing compared to sitting in an airport for 7 hours.

Seats were comfortable but dont recline at all. Checkin online was easy but didnt provide a gate until last minute. Flight attendants were very unkind, not friendly and didnt go over safety procedures in case of a crash. No free snacks or beverages, not even water.

Good crew and safe. However, comfort and being nickeled-and-dimed are my issues. $75 each way for luggage is exhortation. The space to the next seat is so close you cannot open a laptop. The magazine rack doesn’t hold your items. Not a fan.

The booking was cancelled the next day. Spirit Airlines refunded Kayak cheapflay the full amount, but I was only refunded half. Costumer service is disgusting. Be careful. You can lose your money.

Everything on the flight was OK. However, the price is very deceiving the way that it is marketed. It seems like it’s going to be very low cost, but when you add in the charges for luggage, choosing a seat, food & drink, etc., that are already included in other competitors fares, it really is no cheaper, and possibly even more expensive than the other carriers. It actually makes your carrier seem dishonest.

Kayak never booked my flight, I have received notifications the entire time the fights were to be used I went to the airport to find out despite receiving these emails to board my flight was never booked only to have to return home and miss the event I was scheduled for, inconvenient and devastating to say the least, customer service was very poor to only explain that my card had not been charged so that I shouldn’t worry. This was a full flight and I was in Zone 1, however upon boarding, several other zones went in ahead of me, leaving no overhead cabin space near my seat. This created a challenging disembarkment process.

The flight itself was ok and the pilot was very communicative. However, our flight was delayed for almost 3 hours, the gate was changed 3 times and there was no communication as we were waiting. The flight staff was overall a little crabby...I understand as they probably had a long day but we all did.

The plane failed preflight inspection, so we sat there for 90 mins while they tried to fix it. Ultimately, everything was remedied and we made our connecting flight; instead of a 2 hour layover at the airport, we spent it waiting on the plane.
