Arrive early at the airport. Bring personal items like toothbrush and toothpaste if needed because it’s a long flight. If you’re flying with Eva, I don’t think you’ll need more than that.

Our transit in Taipei was disappointing. The ground crew could not tell us where the lounge was located, so we wasted 15 minutes trying to find it. The airline has a great review, but our experience says otherwise.

Greetings when you arrive on the plane and good bye when you leave. Very attentive flight attendants.

Serve me a meal, I fell asleep during the flight. So they passed me twice.

Seats are not table comfortable. Crew members are pretty good. Can be much better!!

Very pleasant overall, although the movie selection could have been better.

I usually have ear problems when planes land. But the landing was so smooth I didn’t even notice it landing! The service was excellent!

the aircraft was fine and new. The crews can have better training. Their operations are not as smooth as EVA's. They are VERY stingy with drinking water. Throughout the entire flight, no one offered me any water and snacks. I still prefer EVA after trying out Starlux initially with lots of excitement and expectations.

Everything was smooth and professional. They could improve the raw vegan meal with fresher offerings, but otherwise they are now my favorite way to fly to Asia.

Leg space is small. Need more room for long flight.

Leg space is too small. Need to increase space for long flight.

Flight Attendants could have been nicer and food portions could be bigger.

Great experience, comfort and food is delicious. Always great service and one time

Excellent service from check in to boarding the crew is so pleasant to asked

The food from Los Angeles to Taipei made me throw up. The flight is also not comfort. But the staffs are very friendly and nice.

Flight staff were very courteous and efficient. Aircraft (seats, lavatories, etc) was kept clean and replenished

I have never heard of EVA air before but I am so happy my wife and I were able to flight on their planes twice. Everything on these flights just felt better than their competitors. As someone with longer legs any bit of extra leg spaces is appreciated. The different options for food and drinks were also a plus. They were extra careful to make sure my wife's eating restrictions were taken care for. They had a before take off and landing announcements on the built in tablets for each seat and it gave out information that was very helpful. Such as what and how to declare your items in the specific country you landed in, any odd items that may be illegal to bring it (and even the reasoning why) and any other information you might need to make your post flight experience better. The only downside was there were "forced" ads on the tablet at take off for maybe 5-10 minutes but honestly, this flight was the cheapest option and had all the benefits listed above that is such an easy trade off. Im keeping an eye out for EVA air going forward.

First time traveling with EVA.. great experience in economy class... Personnel very friendly..

Everything is good staff is polite and helpful flights are on time sub sandwhich for a snack was good with a bottle of water only thing maybe more variety of food like breakfast or dinner depends on the time

The flight attendants should be nicer, on my first flight I told them I’d prefer a veggie meal sometimes and then she began to lecture me about it, it was a late flight and I wanted an easy digestion meal so that I can sleep quickly. The meals were abit odd, breakfast on my last flight had eggs, oatmeal and fish, did not taste good at all, strange combination. The economy seats are very tight and crowded, not comfortable at all. Overall for the price I paid I thought I was going to get more.

seats are pitched well. you don't feel too tight.

Sat next to a woman who had her period. Blood was on her seat and on the arm rest between us. I ended up having period blood on my jacket and shoes. Very gross!

Better organization of boarding procedures. Terrible leadership guiding people to gates.

I did not like how the plane landed. It was not smooth.

Been flying with China Airline over years many times. Good experience with them, no issues.

China Airlines crews are very excellent doing their job. Very friendly and hardworking. I will always choose China Airlines over and over. Thank you all for making my flight comfortable. God bless to all the staff. :)

Staff was so nice and very helpful with directions aswell!

It was our first time flying with China Airlines and had a very nice experience. The airline staff & crews both on the ground and air were very nice. Food on the plane was very good. Will recommend it to family and friends.

Not great, will likely try to fly another or maybe I should have upgraded my ticket? Needed Air…

I don’t think I’ll be flying them again. Tight seats, no flowing air or air nozzles that you can turn air on you, for those who could have motion sickness this would be your worst nightmare. The pilot was great and experienced (which is what you want when flying 12 hours) overall I’m thankful knowledgeable pilots!

Very routh cabin crew food is only 2 meals for 13 hours fry with them They should get better training how to service good super routh language and talking with customer

Always good but we must do something about people in rows ahead of you that don't put their seats back up when they are suppose to. And It's rough to not be able to even lean over to get something out of my purse.

Flight was delayed, 30+ bags had to be gate checked. Crew were very friendly!

Everything was good until we were boarding our connection flight in Atlanta, we were told to gate check our carry-on, but when we got inside the plane, there was plenty of room in the overhead.

Did not know my son and I had different seating arrangements. He was fine, but it was disappointing.

Flight was canceled, and no effort was made to help with rebooking, no hotel vouchers, no car transportation and minimal food voucher and most places for food were closed by the time the voucher was given. Waited for 3 hours for bags. Simply the worst travel experience I have ever had

Food was surprisingly good but the WiFi was not great

this crew didn't care much. bumping carts into seats more times than i care to remember

Very late arrival at PWM. Late jet getting to ATL. Equipment problem with aircraft - could not get enough water onto plane., Another delay getting FAA approval for flight with bottled H2O. Not the crew’s problem.

Everything was fine except the entertainment was not working for half of the flight.

Easy boarding with an extremely kind attendant. Seats were spacious and we had 3 seats for 2 people so we could stretch out. Comfortable air flow and very attentive and hospital attendants. Bathrooms and food were the only negative. Bathrooms were so small you could hardly get in and close the door. I don’t think an obese person would fit or a person with a movement disability. Food was the trending food for flights, nonexistent. We spent $40 getting sandwich and snack at airport for our 6 hour flught.

The best airline I have ever travel , really good customer service, attention and service !!

United could have one single once of customer service. No human United employee would help me with the invalid mileage plus number, they said I had to speak with the computer.

United sent me a mileage plus number last year but that number is invalid so I can’t use it to check into flights or collect mileage. There is human to speak about the problem, only computers who keep asking me if I am using the correct email. It’s so frustrating and I cannot resolve it.

It was delayed instead of departing at 9:20pm, we departed at 11pm… putting us in Columbus after 2am! It was awful. Had I known about the delay, I could have spent some time in the United Lounge… I was starving because I started my journey in Budapest… so I was exhausted and hungry. Plus I had to make new arrangements to be picked up at the airport in Columbus, instead of midnight it was 2:30 am after getting luggage and out of airport. Not feasible. I would have just stayed in Chicago for the night and gotten a morning flight.

Not a great experience. We paid for the upgrade for premium economy seats and seated ourselves in very comfortable seats. Someone came along with the same seat on their boarding pass. The aircraft had been changed and as a result we were booted out and sent further back to small uncomfortable seats. After complaining we were moved to emergency row seats, which gave us more leg room but the seats don’t recline. For people in our 70’s we found having to sit upright from California to NJ very uncomfortable. Not sure why they chose to move senior citizens instead of the two people that were allowed to take the more comfortable seats. Not happy.

I liked the choice of lemon ginger tea. I think stewardesses can be more considerate of older people needs.

The food should improve! And The flight should leave on time and not make the traveler wait.

It was great, I’m very grateful for the pilots and crew flight attendants for everything.

Everything was great. Only thing that could’ve made it better was buy on board options for hot food, but the snacks were decent. The flight attendants were great. I had no complaints. I was able to make it to my destination safely

A little bit more leg room in premium economy. I am 6’4”.
