Cons: "There was 2 choices for food either pork or chicken But when I asked for chicken they told us no more chicken Then they took the pork from the tray and I had to eat the rest without the main course. Also all the seats were taken by the people who bought the tickets directly from JAL,but there was few seats left all in the middle for people who purchase tickets from travel agents."
Pros: "The level of care and attention that was given to my comfort during the flight was extraordinary. Also the economy was much better than any economy i've ever come to expect from other airlines."
Cons: "The boarding I didn't know at first where to go to get to the gate. Having to exit and then re-enter the airport was a pain and further complicated my boarding. But that was not JAL's fault and is on SFO."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed for two hours. We have a connecting flight from Osaka to Los Angeles, which we were worried we couldn't make it. They told me the flight will wait for us because there were 20 plus people also need to get on that plane. When the time of boarding we heard they were calling us to the front and explained the flight we were suppose to be connecting already took off. They had to booked us to another airline. We were extremely disappointed! We asked if we could took another Japanese airline but they said our luggages were already transferred to that airline and the tickets were printed! Mosf importantly we have already waited in airport 5 hours and they needed us to wait for another 3 hours! Very bad experience with how they dealing with this situation!"

Pros: "Bought my ticket in June, when I could access the AA site for my seat selection, it wanted $18 to $35 to make the seat selection. We chose to get the assignment at the airport, but could only get it at tge gate. Made me feel like I was flying standby!"

Cons: "How long it took the flight attendens to come back and take trash and out trays for both of the meals. It made it super uncomfortable in the tiny space available. Also, not enough knee space, especially when the person in front of you puts there seat back. I flew with American Airlines on the way to Japan and I had plenty of room but I wish it was the same coming home."

Pros: "Check-in was swift and painless. Crews were pleasant. They gave my daughter a small toy before take off which made her happy. The seat was noticeably wider than any other airline I had taken before."
Cons: "Food was so so...although my daughter liked her kids meal (tater tots, chicken nuggests, veges, jam sandwitch, fruits, ice cream.)"
Pros: "From start to finish, we were amazed by the customer service of Japan Airlines. Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service."
Cons: "Having to pay for wifi and not having access to power outlets. Everything else was amazing and honestly these minor things were very forgivable given the great entertainment choices that came along with the plan ride and and the amazing customer service."

Pros: "Our flight TO Tokyo from Honolulu was wonderful! Our seats were spacious, the plane wasn't filled to capacity, the in-flight entertainment was the best I've ever seen, the food was amazing. On our flight BACK, the crew was still wonderful, and the boarding process is quick and efficient."
Cons: "Aside from having to take the red-eye, the seats for our return flight were the most cramped I've ever been. My 6' husband's knees were touching the seat in front of him, and the seats were super narrow. I can't remember being so cramped in my entire life. That's really my biggest complaint, but when the flight is 6 1/2 hours, being cramped gets old really quick."

Enough leg room, good attention, never felt like I was riding a crowded city bus as on typical one distance economy class. Worth paying a little more for being treated like a human"

Pros: "I always find the service on Japan Airline to be excellent. What I really liked, and didn't expect, was that there was individual inflight entertainment systems. Most other carriers on short flights out of Busan don't have that available, so it was a nice option. The meals were excellent!"

Pros: "Everything from check-in to boarding was easy, clearly outlined, and succinctly instructed. The attendants were very kind, attentive, and caring. Announcements were in multiple languages, and very easy to understand. The flight was only 2 hours long, but even during that short time, they maintained great professionalism and polish. They even retrieved and stowed a bag multiple times for an elderly passenger without complaint, and frequently checked on him to see if he needed anything else. Quite nice to see!"
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was the random PA interruptions for nothing on the entertainment screen. a minor nitpick on an otherwise wonderful flight!"
