A big bonus is the in-flight entertainment, free wifi and complimentary snacks and beverages which is completely unheard of these days. Also... Duncan coffee!!! Overall very good experience. Then when we finally board the plane a crew member Dan told me my luggage was to big which it was not, and when we landed in Puerto Rico I had to wait so long to get my luggage from the carousel."

At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

He asked me whether he could remain in my seat given his discomfort in the seat to which he was reassigned, which was a middle seat. I could have said no, but it was clear that it made most sense for me to sit in the middle seat (the window seat was already taken and it would have been a tight fit otherwise). Though I appreciate that the folks affected by the flight cancellation were accommodated on my flight, I hope in future the seat reassignments can also be taken into account. Also, I think slightly healthier food would be nice (chips vs cookies). Thanks."

I get pretty motion sick on flights, especially on an empty stomach, so the snacks and meals at mealtimes have always made this my favorite airline. There was none of that this time around. Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

Cons: "1. I already had a tight connection and let the flight attendant know that I was concerned due to the delay. She seemed very laissez faire and there was no information about the connections gate overhead or when I got off the plane. I think that if the flight is delayed, the airline should let passengers know where the close connection gate assignments are to save them time (my flight landed ten minutes after my connection was boarding). 2. The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety."

There was no jetway so passengers had to walk a distance to the plane. The attendants all seemed to be having a bad morning. Not terribly friendly."

Cons: "The boarding process is always horrible. Folks crowd the gate before their class is called. It creates anxiety and edginess. Never a good way to start a trip. While it always goes relatively quickly I feel it should be more organized and folks made to follow a system. Cramming right up against the ticket counter doesn't do anyone any good."

Cons: "Not only were there delays but they wouldn't allow me to upgrade to first class even though there were seats available, they said "oh with the package you purchased it's not available" Then why was I able to upgrade to first class for the other portion of my flight? The customer service was awful too, transferred 5 times on the phone for 20 mins to not get any help and for them to uncheck me in, I had to check in for my flight again."

"I spent money on extra leg room and as I’m boarding the switch my seat to a regular seat. Horrible scam to get extra money from passengers. Never flying this crap airline again."

"While I can understand that the airline industry is a tough business, I did have a horrible experience with American Airlines. This will probably be my last time booking travel with this airline. To start, my first return flight on Sunday July 25th at 5:00 pm, AA 2779, had been delayed for more than six hours and the gate agents canceled our flight at the last minute. This problem occurred due to short staffing and the airline was unable to find a replacement co-pilot. As a result, I had to stay an extra night in Chicago and spend 120 dollars on a Lyft ride-share from the airport. However, I did manage to secure another flight during the following day, AA 4962, and I was happy to finally arrive home. Please take all of this into consideration and I would demand some compensation for the inconvenience."

While the pilot did an excellent job in getting us in NY on time after airport delays on departure, AA must have not had enough staff working when we arrived. Customers waited over 30 minutes for bags to arrive, which arrived at a different belt than what had been originally scheduled. There were no AA staff in sight when we arrived in NY either. I will do my best not to fly AA again."

I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

Cons: "Flights out of RDU to Philly were late. AA will not let you get on another flight going to the same destination if your checked luggage has been committed to particular flight beforehand. You have to fly with your luggage."

Pros: "The crew on every leg of the flight was very professional. Having one TSA entry point for eight gates at Brulington really slows things down, I realize this has nothing to do with United though."
Cons: "I wish instead of me when I missed my flight due to TSA that United themselves would have tried to get me out on another flight that same day. They assumed I wanted only one stop, when in fact it didn't matter to me so long as I wasn't stuck another overnight. I used Kayak in the terminal to discover a different flight that same day and was lucky to get on as each flight was fully booked."

Habia un problema con el avion o la torre del vuelo miami hacia san juan PR. Nos ofrecieron estadia en un hotel supuestamente ellos corrian con los gastos ya q se atraso el vuelo y no fue culpa de ningun pasajero segun nos dijo una señorita del counter, resulta ser q el hotel fue el piso del aeropuerto de miami x 8 horas!!! Wow a la verdad q nos vieron la cara de bobos y nos cojieron de bobos tambien. Q trato mas injusto. No volveremos a viajar por AMERICAN AIRLINES asi mismo le dejaremos saber a todo el mundo el trato de esta linea con los pasajeros. Gracias a esto nos agravamos la espalda, costillas. Por culpa de ellos por tratarnos como basura. Eso no se hace!!!! Despues q estabamos sentados en el avion el piloto no llegaba y nos tuvieron q bajar del avion, esperar a que llegara otro piloto para volvernos a montar en el avion!!! Q mala coordinacion!! Cons: "The whole arrangement going through Air Canada but flying United. I never got confirmation numbers from United at all. I had to call Air Canada to get confirmation codes for United. Getting confirmation codes from Air Canada had no real significance with United. United would not confirm seating. When United finally confirmed seating, the seats were not together. Then United changed the flight three times and never gave updated confirmation codes. The last change came the day before our departure. Then United charged another $138.00 for seats that were assigned and never informed us. I am still trying to get the $138.00 back."

Cons: "My flight from LAX-DEN was delayed. Ended up missing my flight, as well as my flight from DEN-CIN. We as passengers were not told where to go (we waited two hours to hear any kind of news). We were told that the Frontier staff would know what was going on at the DEN airport once we arrived, but they did not. We then waited another hour to be told where to go. I was given a voucher for my hotel, food and transportation. However, my transportation voucher did not work. I waited over an hour for a bus that never came. My transportation in the AM back to the airport was not covered either. I ended up paying money out of pocket both times when it should've been free of charge. The staff on the airplanes were OK, although at times unprofessional."

Pros: "The attendants were very helpful and friendly. The plane was incredibly clean and comfortable. I would fly frontier again!"
Cons: "The frontier website. Not easy to use and disk not allow me to add tsa precheck or buy my bags online."

Pros: "Seats were about as thin and hard as plastic lawn chairs - not ideal for a red-eye. Attendants were nice but there was basically nothing offered and when my sister asked for a ginger ale she was told it would be $2.75. Ha!"
Cons: "Pretty much everything. I can't believe you have to pay $40 for a carry-on bag. !!!!"

Cons: "The check-in process didn't work and was confusing. Every time I tried to check a bag and pay the reduced fee, the website returned me to the window asking for username and password again. I could not check-in on line and had to pay full fee for checking my bag. I was frustrated and at the airport there was no consideration for giving me the reduced fee in light of the website malfunctions by the agent checking me in. Also, the steps during the check-in was confusing - trying to sell upgrades etc, instead of just taking you thru the check-in steps."

Cons: "Got here early, sat on runway for 20 minutes before a gate was available which put us in at the actual time. Then had to wait another 20-30 minutes for bags at baggage claim area."

Cons: "Couldn't make it got in to a car accident cancel my flight didn't they even refund me my money back"

Cons: "They got rid of their TVs. Their trays shrunk, and are now too tiny to hold my laptop or book. They charged me $45 for my carry-on. They woman who I checked in with and paid for my carry-on proceeded to not give my my daughter's tickets and one of my wife's tickets, so we had to go back to her after trying to get through the Xray, and get the additional tickets, almost making us late. They charge for coffee and soda, and don't give any free snacks on a 3 hour flight."

Pros: "Arrived at airport at 940 pm which was great because we were early but didn't get off the plane until almost 12am due to an airplane being worked on at our parking gate and also had to wait for local sheriffs office to board the plane to escort a lady off the plane when we finally did park and during that time the flight attendants were yelling at the paying customers because they had their phones out. One flight attendant even smacked a phone out of someone's hands! Will take a miracle to get me and my family to ever fly frontier again. Worse flight experience ever."

Frontier charges. - My knees were pressed against the seat in front of me. I'm only 6ft tall. The seats are poorly made with very little cushioning. - You have to pay for ANY type of beverages/snacks. I declined and just wished I flew JetBlue or American. - No entertainment. Nothing. For the 'cheap price' they offer, you're better off booking with another company. I'll never fly with them again."

Cons: "I didn't like the surprise 40$ fee to bring carry on. I don't remember seeing that when I bought my ticket. I don't mind paying for my luggage. But would've been nice to be able to add that to my flight bill rather then having to pay the fee in order to get my flight ticket."

Cons: "Called zone 1 to board.... we were all lined up in an orderly fashion then they called zone 2 and took people from the sides of the line. Frustrating for the people all ready in line"

Cons: "I was not aware that I'd have to pay for carry-on luggage. If I had, Frontier would not have been the cheapest flight and I wouldn't have flown them. Seats were super uncomfortable, no option to recline, no adjusting head rest, tray table was maybe 4 inches of tray that wouldn't hold a book. Frontier offers no snacks or drinks save water; you have to pay for everything, including soda, coffee, etc."

Cons: "Frontier doesn't participate in the Known a Traveler Number program. There weren't enough agents to assist with baggage check. Flight was an hour late."

Cons: "The low price lured me in, but the upcharge for putting a bag in the overhead should be announced in an easy-to-see spot on your website. I know someone who flew before, so the charge was not a surprise to me, but I didn't know that it was cheaper online (which I used) and got progessively costlier. I might fly Frontier again, but I'll be better able to compare airlines by knowing what the bottom line will be. One other thing: Those tray tables are a joke. They couldn't even fit a business-size letter."

Cons: "I really don't like Airlines that nickle& dime the consumer and Frontier is one of these airlines. A good fare to start, but then you spend more at the end. In this case, I spend $108 + tax and fees more than if I would had gone with the competition. Life and learn. First time flying with Frontier and I will not say it would be the last, but this airlines had been but to the end of my list of choices for airlines."

Cons: "We arrived to check our bags in at the airport about 2.5 hours before our flight. We noticed a rather larger line, so we were comfortable that because we had arrived so early that we would be just fine. Oh to the contrary, the line grew and with it everyone's mood changed. Half an hour passed and we could not find one clerk to explain why the line was not moving. This was the flight back from Nashville heading towards Chicago. In a huge rage, a woman traveling with what seemed to be her mother and two children finally hit a tipping point. She demanded to speak to a clerk and basically had to stalk their office until one came out. Apparently, in Nashville, the check in crew does not begin to check bags in until about an hour to forty-five minutes before your flight. I just couldn't get that through my head. If TSA, got forbid stops you, you're screwed. I will never fly with this airline again. You have to pay to even have a carry on with you, any kind of normal seat selection, seats are paper thin, and service was the worse. I get the cheap prices, but they're not that cheap in order to deal with all this mess"

Cons: "The boarding, sitting on the tarmack both flights, taking forever to deliver the bags. The tiny tray tables, the flight smelling like baby diapers for any necessary amount of time."

Cons: "Flight delayed 50 minutes. 3 gate changes. The last one without text notification"

Cons: "Worse turbulence ever! Felt like a carnival ride from hell. 30+ minutes late departing and arriving. Paid $45 for a carry on. Making cost $200+, probably $250 by the time I fly back. Frontier is losing the airline game"

Cons: "I didn't like that we were delayed by and hour and a half simply because the system was down. They should have had tech guys available to fix the problem right when it happened. I would like a voucher or some sort of refund for my time due to improper planning by frontier. The seats are also horribly uncomfortable. I couldn't get comfortable in any position. They aren't soft and they are too small."
