We told the woman to tell her kids to stop but all she said was “they are a child” when all they needed to do was just tell their kid to stop. Flight attendants saw and knew but I don’t know what they could do to help when they can’t help with bad parenting. I wish there was a clear way to upgrade to first class on a trip as it was difficult to find out how."

Once we landed we had like 20 minutes to go through security AGAIN and nearly missed the final flight to our Seattle destination. No mention of local time upon landing, no one at gate to direct lots of people rushing for connections."

However, this international flight only had american plugs so anyone without an adapter was SOL. I tried to watch the large screen at the front of my section but they showed the movie Lion that is in Hindi and therefore had subtitles and I couldn't read the words from 12 rows back. The boarded process is like a cattle call. DO NOT FLY UNITED!!! I thought I was flying Lufthansa but it was a bait and switch situation."

We had to jump through the lines and cut in front of people explaining everybody our predicament and making people upset. Got back stressed and tired"

We called your customer service, and a recording stated that we would get a reply within 48 hrs. We contacted website customer service and it stated that we would get a reply within 48 hrs. We needed immediate assistance from a HUMAN BEING to change our reservation, that was impossible. We were forced to purchase new tickets, the cost was $2,500, we had to stay overnight in a nearby hotel, the cost was $220. We are returning one day later than planned all because we could not reach you."

A mad rush of people scramble down 2 flights of stairs, then are crammed on a tandem bus that drives out to the plane. You then cross the Tarmac in all types of weather to board. This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

Cons: "I am writing to you because of the poor service that I experienced with your Operations Manager in Vienna, Paola Contestabile. I travel internationally four to five times a year for the past decade and I have never had such awful service as for my Lufthansa Flight 2329 on Jun 14th under confirmation #62RZK3. I was on my return flight to the US with the exact same carry on baggage that I had left the US with a week earlier- a roller carry on and a backpack for my laptop. This is my standard everywhere in the world that I travel and have never had an issue. I bought a painting on my trip and checked it in. With regards to my carry on, Ms. Contestabile was insistent that I could only have one piece for carry on. I told her to get the baggage rules and I would read them to her. I am a trained lawyer and value the meaning of words and rules. I explained that I am allowed one carry on and a personal item. She argued that my backback is not a personal item and that only a "laptop" is a personal item. I again explained that my personal item was my laptop bag, the same way a purse is a personal item for a lady. She finally relented and allowed me to pass through security and passport check. I assumed that this was the end of her confusion. Little did I expect that while sitting by the gate waiting to board the plane, Ms. Contestabile would emerge again and declare in front of all of the passengers that I would not be allowed to board the flight if I did not check my backpack. I told her this is unacceptable, since she had already cleared me. She said she had changed her mind. I found this response to be ridiculous. When I asked to speak with her manager, she refused to allow it, stating "I am the manager today." Ms. Contestabile even went to the pilot of the plane and convinced him that I was a "safety concern" because I wasn't following her ridiculous interpretation of the rules. This is a pure abuse of power and a threat to true safety when a ground crew member can make such a false and baseless accusation. Luckily, a woman passenger overhearing Ms. Contestabile told me that she could not believe the way she was treating me and offered to carry my bag for me. I am requesting a formal investigation into her actions and appropriate disciplinary procedures to ensure Ms. Contestabile is not allowed to threaten another passenger again."

They exuded a joyful atmosphere and seemed like never sat down! This was the third leg of our long trip and they made it so enjoyable.. That is a lot as a passenger is quite tired and possibly irritable by this time. This was an Austrian Airline flight and we were really blown away.. I also give kudos to management for having staff that is so efficient, hardworking and yet so joyful!"

Our connection was not among those directly transferred even though our flight was within 5 minutes of the others who were. We had to bolt through Munich airport, almost missing the flight, and our luggage didn't make it through to D.C."

Wish that would have been clear when I purchased the ticket. Also there is no clear info on what the cost is for your bag at what point in the check-in process."

I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."

Cons: "Because of a delay on a previous flight, I missed my original flight and while I was waiting to board, I called Austrian on the phone to advise them of the delay, so they can protect me on the last flight for the day. The agent refused to do so and advised me to take care of it in Vienna as I was flying on an award ticket and there was no more availability. When I got to the airport in Vienna, I was told the flight was overbooked and they can only guarantee flights the following morning, which wouldn't have worked for me due to other engagements. I was put on a standby list and was told I was #1. When I inquired why they weren't proactive in rebooking people instead of waiting to be told the obvious, I was countered that even if they were to do that, there would be no seats, which was false as I was told over the phone there were still a few seats left at that time. Overall, a horrible way to handle things by Austrian, especially given my Star Alliance Gold status."

Cons: "The Kayak ticket did not assume the luggage and we had to pay additional EUR 60 on the already pricey ticket - I think Kayak should clearly state that the luggage is not included once it does the ticket sorting based on the price!"

It is not nice to wait extra 4 hours in an airport after a transoceanic flight with a 5 month old baby. I did not know that company but now I do for their poor management"

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

Instead, they tried to get everyone to board with luggage in hand, then once they realized there was not enough space they asked people to hold on to their luggage while they came through the plane to tag it and stow it below - very inefficient and made the boarding process crazy as people tried to make their way around luggage that was sitting in the aisles."

Cons: "we pre booked seats at #14 because our daughter cannot walk without help, we took her to and from the plane by wheelchair to make it easier, they bumped us to seat # 32 , the very last one, that is a long walk, at check in the woman there was rude when we told her of our situation and that we had seats, she said there was nothing she could do because the plane was full, she was not very helpful at all, and asked if we wanted to take another plane. Our whole family has been traveling with air Canada, but I think it's time for a change. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I really wish it was not a full flight because i would have advised him to puke all over everything. How hard was it to provide a cool cloth?? Really? I know first class has wash cloths and that was an easy request. And the fact that she never came back to see if we needed anything or to tell us she did not have a cloth for him. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will think twice about flying Air Canada again. Thank god for good citizeans willing to help strangers in a time of need."

It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."

On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."

Everyone around me was trying to open their air vents to get more cool air and/or fanning themselves. I asked the flight attendant about it and he said that the plane was just old and it would cool off eventually. It did, about 20 minutes before they cut the air down again for landing. By the time I got off the plane I was nauseated from the heat and stale air. It will be a long time before I fly United again if this is any indication of the condition of their planes."
