Pros: "This was first Alaska airlines trip and I want to do more! I showed up at the Seattle airport and tried to use one of the many conveniently placed kiosks. I couldn't find my trip, BECAUSE I HAD BOOKED FOR THE WRONG DAY!. This could have been very stressful but an attendant near the (short) line asked me if needed help and immediately redirected me to the VIP line. There, I found another very short line, and smiling, enthusiastic staff. The young woman who helped me got my info, and walked away to get the problem solved with a supervisor. She returned a short time later, my boarding pass in hand, upgraded me to Premium seating and TSA pre check -- without me even asking! On the plane, I mostly slept, but when I woke up I found the attendant had left me my boxes snack which was a mix of nuts and dried fruit in a fancy package. The seats seemed more comfortable than they were in recent trips on United and Southwest. There were plugs everywhere for phone and device charging. There was free wifi(!!). And there were devices available for borrowing. There was even a website for free movie streaming. In a time when most other airlines have sour faced (need to retire!) attendants (Southwest an exception), and EVERYTHING is a la Carte pricing, it is so nice to fly with a company that tries to make passengers happy and comfortable. Pros: "Non stop Seattle to Omaha is the greatest thing to happen since I moved out to Washington State - my travel to Nebraska is so much easier and hassle free. The crew was professional and fun - Gluten free snack box is a plus."
Cons: "The sign in for free in-flight chat and entertainment was clunky and a bit confusing . I gave up on it ."

Cons: "I did not like that I was not notified that I was in a section where my seat could not lean back during a cross country flight. I also did not like that the only snacks were super sugary cookies. I would have preferred pretzels."

Cons: "I sat in a middle seat, sandwiched in between a passenger who had an aisle seat on my left and another passenger who had a window seat on my right. It would have been okay, but both were much larger than me and with the seat already a bit narrow, I felt like a sardine on this flight."

What compounds the lie; now that we are on the ground, the ground crew cannot remove the checked luggage due to weather. Now I'm stuck without anything! No one at American want to help me out of this situation."

Pros: "Flight Attendants were excellent. Especially good was the senior FA who was seen training the junior ones who were on their maiden flight. The breakfast omelet with turkey sausage was about as good as they get."
Cons: "Nearly two hour delay due to fog in SFO. Recommend AA reroute into OAK where the fog is not so bad and the airport has a way better arrival on time rate than SFO. The drive into San Francisco is about the same time from OAK as it is from SFO."

Cons: "I was unable to enjoy any of this; however, because a 6 year old talked loudly to himself the entire overnight flight while kicking the back of my seat. The crew and his parents said nothing. My boyfriend and I then had to spend our first day in Paris sleeping."

I am a million mile flyer with AA, I had the same status on NW, and high mileage on Lufthansa, and other international carriers. At the height of my career I was a 100% road warrior flying internationally weekly The food on this flight was the worst I have ever been presented with."

Cons: "My seat partner (who, granted, had the middle seat, which is a tough one) was the only negative. Lots of space taken up and liked to laugh at everything in his movies. Loudly."

Pros: "Bridget was managing the cancellation lines with finesse, compassion, and urgency. She was a star! The rebooked flight was fast, comfortable, and landed early."
Cons: "Previous flight was canceled and forced us to stay in DC an extra day. Watched flights continue to arrive and depart from our hotel room. Rebooked using the mobile app but could not check in on mobile or at the kiosk. Waited in line for almost 2 hours for AA to simply check us in and print passes. The flight did not get catering refreshed after landing in DC so no refreshments or snacks were offered during the flight home."

Cons: "Attendants made a big deal about expected significant turbulence...enough to say "now if your last chance to leave the plane" and suspend final beverage service. Turbulence was not bad at all and all they offered was water and juice after the initial service. Crew was short with passengers and movie selections were pretty lame. I was interested in the last movie, but it was shut off half way through."
