I had my mobile boarding pass on my iPhone, and got to my departure gate. When it got close to boarding time, my email boarding pass disappeared! Luckily I was able to get a paper boarding pass from the boarding desk. If I had not looked previously on my phone-I would have been delayed. Learning lesson on my part. Check in at airport too!"
Pros: "It was a little confusing beacause your brochure said I would have free Wifi so I didn't rent your tablets. A half hour later I realized the wifi doesn't actually work, so I missed out on renting your tablets to watch something. I think there should be a less confusing system. This is more of an Alaska Airlines gripe though."

When booking a flight out of the country it would be nice if Air .com could of mention that to me. We were trying to get to a cruise we had already paid for that was going out of Spain. They would not work with me at all and cx my whole booking. When I tried to talk to them on the phone the man could not speak very good English and was not making any since at all. I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."

Cons: "I purchased the earliest flight of the day from Vegas to Los Angeles so I could be in LA by 11am so I could attend the 1pm Dodger game at dodger stadium... ( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."

Cons: "The flight was delayed after some passengers began boarding. The boarding process was also all over the place. When i finally got on the plane, the seats were very uncomfortable and I felt like a sardine being crammed into a small tin. the crew was at best, mediocre and boring. The in flight snack was two crappy pieces of cookie? Or was that a cracker? I did not eat it. The entertainment was one shared screen that I did not have a headset for, nor was I offered a headset, free or for a fee. The screen in front of me was too close and the screen behind that was further away and barely able to see it. I choose not to watch it for these reasons. The landing was rough at the end, everyone jolted forward when we hit the ground."

Pros: "The Ticket agent was very helpful and friendly. The air crew and Flight Attendants were very nice and helpful. The wheel chair attendant who initially took me to my gate in Las Vegas was very friendly, and helpful, and she did everything she could possibly have done, short of leaving another passenger to come take care of me, which wouldn't have been right. I was there when she called her supervisor and advised him/her of my location and of my needs and she received confirmation. Was not her fault."
Cons: "I checked in with American and a wheel chair attendant assisted me to my gate. My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me."

No respect for each other. My worst experience in history flying with AA."

But the ground crew and American Airlines worked very hard to compensate all the passengers: gave us each a voucher for hotel, 2 meals, round trip shuttle ride for hotel and airport. Good work to make up for a bad situation."

The aircraft problems overheated engine, caused us to get out of the plane, move all luggages and wait foe a new plane that also had to be cooled off before reboarding. We were tired and hungry. Missed my bday with family. Very very disappointed."

Cons: "The seats are really packed in, and people kept slamming into my elbow as they walked down the aisle. De-planing was a bit chaotic, I don't think many of these people fly regularly, and were having some serious heebie-jeebies at their bags being in an overhead compartment not immediately above their head. So before anyone was mobile or doors were open, there were large pieces of luggage being passed around through really crowded spaces. Chill, people. The baggage carousel at the new terminal was poorly designed, shutting down when people went to pick up their bags. It took awhile to get our bags, and we were scolded by the staff for tripping some sensor. I don't know what universe y'all live in, but in this one, you have to move close to the carousel to lift your bag. So the sensor tripped like three times and people were unhappy."

I didn't think much of it until I got to my new seat and realized I had paid to sit in a seat that was basically a bench that didn't recline and was right in front of the bathroom so it rattled every time someone flushed. Cons: "Plane seemed very old. Seating was cramped and uncomfortable. Add on fees for everything."
Pros: "The ease of booking and picking seats were great. I also like checking in via the app."
Cons: "don't mind paying for snacks, that's totally fine. In fact, the prices weren't extravagant, so that was totally acceptable. I don't REALLY even mind paying the baggage fee for a carry on as long as the rules are enforced, but there were people who were BLATANTLY over the size limit who hadn't paid, which seems unfair when I paid $36. The reason I know they didn't pay??? They were MY traveling companions. I can only imagine if they did it, then many other people did it as well. So the money is no big deal when the flight is so inexpensive, but the baggage policy needs to be kept fair. I could barely fit the bag I paid for to be in the overhead storage, b/c backpacks, jackets, and purses were crowding the bin."
Pros: "What wasn't there to like it was truly amazing. I had a great time."
Cons: "My flight was canceled because of the hurricane in Houston which was completely understandable. Trying to rebook a flight was one of the worst experiences I've had on the phone. Over 2 hours on hold only for United to tell me to call back inside 24 hours of my requested departure (which was about 12 hours outside of the time I called). Bad customer service all around, both Kayak and United."
Cons: "They put my luggage on a flight 3 hours later. I bought this flight so I can get to the wedding rehearsal on time. All my fiancés and my clothes are in that luggage. So now we are late to the wedding rehearsal that my fiance is the maid of honor for and we still have to head to the hotel to check in and get ready. It's just unacceptable."
Pros: "They gave us free tv since we had to wait so long and they made us wait for an hour on the tarmac."
Cons: "We had a connecting flight from San Francisco that we missed due to their delays. We still don't know why it was delayed. They didnt give a clear or concise reason for the delays. Our flight landed a few minutes before our connecting flight departed and instead of holding the plane like they have done in other reviews I've read they actually took off early. We were automatically given tickets to the next flight out to our final destination (which was 6 hours later.) This was sucky but we didn't have control over it so we dealt with it. However when we went to customer service to print our new tickets we were "greeted" with two apathetic employees. The first one we didn't actually get to interact with because after waiting in line for 10 minutes when it was finally our turn he held his hand up to stop us from walking up to the counter and just left. No explanation just headed out. So we headed over to the "premier" line for a procedure that should literally take 3 minutes to interact with the next employee who made it somehow our fault that we were mildly upset with the situation. My father always told me United "sucks" we gave them a chance but we should have heeded his fatherly advice. Oh and a bonus my traveling partner has a broken pelvis so sitting around for hours on end was just salt to the wound."
Pros: "I was able to board on time. Service in-flight was ok."
Cons: "I wasn't able to check-in at the self-serve kiosk. Customer service took a long time and helped two people that got in the inexistent line after me first. During the flight my seat was broken, wouldn't recline. I don't like I can't turn off the screen if I want to, rather I have to put up with that undesired content someone else manages."
Pros: "Cancelled the first flight I was on. Then the second flight out of SAN to SFO was delayed so we sat on the plane for an hour. Of course i was fine but the way United treated people who were going to miss their connections was nothing but rude. I've had it with them!"
Cons: "I wish airlines that treat you like a human like Virgin, Alaska.."
Pros: "Friendly, cheerful cabin crew."
Cons: "If I wanted to check my bag I wouldn't have dragged it through the airport. Boarding was a mess. Too many people put both their personal item and their bag up top. The whole boarding process stopped when people with bags there was no space for ran into people trying to get to the back of the plane. It was stuck still for a good five minutes while we figured out how to un-jam the space. I blame airline policies that discourage checking a bag, at any weight. I really dislike gate checking a bag."

Cons: "They had a setup if you wanted to watch a movie you had to log onto your computer or other device, but you had to down load the United airlines app, but my IPad would not connect to download."

Cons: "From flight attendants who shouted, rather than help sort out seat assignments, to repeatedly announcing the luggage was on the empty, stopped carousel 4 when it was really over on 2, the service on the red eye was irritating from start to finish."

Cons: "Their new fare for budget flights processing is outrageous. I was advised booking the flight carrying size only undervfront seat storage. Then got an email explaining how this works. Then tried to checkin online 24 hours prior and you can't since you are not checking baggage. Got to airport to find that can't checkin except at counter as you need a UAL employee to scan their I'd during process to get boarding pass. Waited for employee and then she was rude about it. Again reminded me I can't bring anything else onboard or will cost me extra at gate. If UAL wants to offer this they need to be more customer friendly. I was far from impressed for the inconvenience I experienced being s longtime UAL Frequent Flier."

Cons: "On my flight back during taking off, I was throwing a trash away into a little bag that is also designed for vomiting. When I pushed a trash into the bag, I felt that it was already wet. Somebody vomited into it at the previous flight and placed it back to the seat's packet. I am not telling that it was the cleaning crew's mistake because it looked like unused until I pushed my hand into it, but it was still a very unpleasant experience and could be also a health hazard."
