I arrived on-time with my reservation number (I reserved a van 1 week before) and was told that there must have been a glitch online because they did not have my reservation in their system. They said they didn't have a 7 seater available and there was nothing they could do to help me. I was furious because I needed to drive 6 children to a youth event that evening! I ended up finding another rental at another company for triple the price of the ACE rental. Do not rent from them! Your rental confirmation number does not ensure you get the car you booked!Reviewed Oct 20 2024

Long line at ACE ™️ car rental desk in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On average, there was ONE customer service representative at the desk assisting customers and if we were lucky, the second would help. The vehicle was not in the car located on the damage/receipt that would assist us in finding the car. A few clicks of the door lock, and the car was a couple spots over. I had to take extensive pictures ov dings and scratches because none was noticed on the receipt. (This is not the stress I was hoping for to start out my trip)… The trunk had rocks and small wood pieces where you would normally place luggage… The last time my wife used Ace, she was stranded and the vehicle wouldn’t go into gear. After a couple days they finally replaced it with no apology or anything… she missed the activity she was supposed too arrive for and W/O ANY sorry sir compensatory actions from ACE. It’s almost your FORCED to used a couple of companies that at there because of a lack of staff at the ABQ rental complex.Reviewed Oct 15 2024

Unknown that Ace was considered an “offsite” rental. Shuttle service was convenient but it was a two shuttle service from the hotel we stayed at. Long wait to pickup, lots of people at desks just a detriment to customers to your success. Check out agent very professional and helpful. I rented the vehicle on octubre 1st and encountered an issue where the car was towed at 2:42 AM on Friday morning. I promptly contacted the tow truck company to arrange for the return of the vehicle, and I have phone records proving this. However, despite my efforts, the tow company delayed picking up the vehicle until Tuesday, which left me without access to the car for several days. Throughout this period, I reached out to Ace Rent-A-Car multiple times, urging them to retrieve the vehicle, but they failed to act promptly. As a result of their delay, I am now being charged for additional days of car rental, which I believe I should not be responsible for, as the vehicle was not in my possession or available for my use from Friday to Tuesday. I was prepared to pay the standard towing fee immediately, but due to the extended delay, I now face additional charges that I believe are unjustified. I respectfully request a credit for the extra days beyond the initial three days of use, as well as any associated fees caused by the company’s delay in picking up the car. The exact amount I am requesting to be credited back to my account is $356 plus the other amount for the other dispute Very disappointed with ACE. I won’t recommend itReviewed Oct 12 2024
