Pros: facility of process cleanliness of car ease of pickup and drop-off
Cons: demeanor of the desk clerk
Pros: Staff at pick up location could have been more friendly but the staff at drop off were awesome and helpful.
Cons: There was smell of cigarettes in the car and a burning spot on driver’s seat. It will be better to clean up inside the car and use some fragrance to eliminate the bad smells.
Pros: Pick-up and drop off super easy
Cons: Cleaner car... The rental had peanuts all over the insides
Pros: Yes everything went very smooth. They offered a free upgrade for me.
Cons: Cheaper gas when they fill on own on return
Pros: Drop off was very easy.
Cons: Rather a long wait wait for the car at pick up Montreal downtown. WIfi in the pick up office would be helpful.
Pros: Staff very friendly and drop off easy/fast.
Pros: Car was fine although the check engine light was on. Price was good. Convenience of pickup site was good.
Cons: A long (30 minute) wait at the pickup counter in Montreal.
Pros: Got bumped up for a bigger car since they did not have what I had requested, with the same price.
Cons: They would not even try to enter my Visa Electron (with credit card capabilities enabled) to their system, and we had to resort to my friend's MasterCard (with credit and debit). Even with that they first insisted they can't accept it, but after some debate yielded to trying it out and were surprised that it worked as a credit card. I would appreciate if the store first did what the customer asked and only then said something doesn't work if it actually doesn't work. I paid multiple hotels and other things successfully with the Visa Electron in Canada so I'm quite sure it would've worked with Alamo too, for some reason they just didn't want to even try.
Pros: - great car
Cons: - staff at pick up took a call while he was taking my informtiaon which I thought was a bit rude and unprofessional. - drop off in Toronto wasn’t very clear when dropping off after hours.
Why isn't breakdown insurance included as standard?
Pros: Price not too bad. Car had only done 4.5k km, and air conditioning was invaluable.
Cons: Additional costs for breakdown insurance - It seems madness that this is not included as standard. CDW etc. should also be included as standard, but I wonder if this is not included so the people actually look after the car that they hire....which I suspect some don't.
Pros: It was a good upgrade.
Cons: The rate is far too steep. I got a 7-seater Hyundai Sante Fe (almost brand new) for $45 per day. With this rate, I got a CLA in Germany a few months back.
Nice car but agent seemed unfriendly
Pros: The line was short and I saw an agent almost immediately. The car was new and clean.
Cons: The agent was either upset or very rushed because he really didn't seem to enjoy answering the couple basic questions I had about the dropoff. Answers were short and terse.
