Pros: I can't think of one thing that could have been better at this hotel. The staff was very friendly & the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The restaurant had very good food and the ambience was fabulous. The outside patio area being my favorite with fire pits and lovely views.
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: I thought the basil and mozzarella omlet I had at the hotel resturant was a little bland.
Pros: This was the perfect visit and hotel for us. We had a river view room which allowed us to share a bottle of wine while watching the sun set and coffee on the veranda in the morning watching the river run bay. Beds were very comfortable with a soft pillow top you could loose yourself in
Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights and it was an excellent stay.. beautiful view and great service! very very clean and spacious.
The 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel offers luxury on the River! Our deluxe accommodations which include six luxurious suites, offer turndown service, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center and our professional concierge ready to assist you in planning your vacation. HDTVs and free WIFI are the standard here. The Seaway Grille, 1000 Islands Bar and The Patio will satisfy all your culinary needs from snacks to fine dining.
Pros: Everything. It was a very special weekend. I proposed to my girlfriend. I wanted the place to be perfect and the staff did an amazing job. The room was clean, lots of amenities. Great view! You made my stay something to remember for the rest of my life.
Cons: not enough parking for the amount of guest, we had to park in overflow parking, nowhere near our room and the staff was rude about it.
Pros: Very convenient to downtown. Ample parking. Helpful staff.
Cons: Cleaning products used give rooms an extremely strong odor that lingers and lingers. Luckily you can open a door to the balcony but then you have to consider the bugs. There was no fan to vent the bathroom. One of the noisiest places I have ever stayed. The rooms still have room keys, not key cards!!!! All the doors must be somewhat slammed to close/ lock properly, so all night long you hear doors slamming. This property was not a good value for the money. I would not stay here again, even at half the price. If you cannot find better accommodations in Alex Bay, I would book in Watertown. It's not that far to drive for a quiet room with breathe able air. The staff was friendly.
Pros: Rooms are clean, updated, and comfortable! Also appreciate the mini fridge for leftovers and beverage.
Cons: When I requested a late checkout on a Tuesday morning, it was not accommodated, one rude girl at the front desk told me that, and when I went in to drop the key off, I overheard the other girl tell another guest, "that shouldent be a problem, were not that busy today."
I work 13hour overnight shifts, and have a hard time with my sleep schedule, this was not appreciated.
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and informative of Alex bay
Bed was to firm for my liking, but the place was super clean.
A six minutes walk to the bay that made parking a pleasure
