10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was incredible! Bob and Gene were so welcoming, and very friendly. The space was very clean, and comforting. They made cookies for us, and they were great! Awesome location. My partner and I celebrated our three year anniversary, and we were welcomed with a little sign, and it was so cute. An experience we will never forget!
Cons: No complaints!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicely decorated. Great breakfast!
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast and hospitality were excellent
Cons: To much clutter all over the house and no cable tv in my guest room

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our humble innkeeper Glen was professional and friendly, seeing to every detail! His breakfasts were creative and delicious, 5-star ratings there. The welcome signs with our names, homemade cookies & candies, comfy beds and lovely details helped us refresh along our journey.
Cons: Couldn’t stay longer!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Pancakes were rather dry and floury tasting
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of those one-of-a-kind places that I thought about not writing a review about, so I could keep it just to myself. This place is perfect — makes you feel comfortable and at home — and probably gives you the best value of any Airbnb and traditional B&B that I have ever stayed in. There is so much thought put into your comfort, so much attention to detail, for example, fresh baked cookies in your room, luxurious feeling sheets, a super comfy mattress, and nice thick carpet and bath rugs, to name a few. The hosts are amazing, very welcoming, helpful, and concerned for your comfort. And the breakfast was so fresh and delicious, cooked by Chef Gene. If you’re lucky, you get to say hello to Winston, the sweet and well-behaved dog. This place is a gem, and we will definitely be back!!
Cons: We loved everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THIS WAS THE BEST B & B WE HAVE STAYED IN. There was no stone left unturned in the management of this B & B. Bob and Gene are delightful, I can't think of anything more this B & B should have. The breakfast Gene made was incredible. The B & B had all four rooms filled. The sheets and bed were very comfortable and the home was extremely clean. We met new friends from up North, who plan to move into the area. We were there because our home, near there, is being remodeled and we are staying elsewhere. We plan to stay here again and would not miss it!
Cons: nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host and very tasty breakfasts.
Cons: It would be nicer if the outdoors would be clean and nit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality, the best breakfast, and decent location.

Seeing the lodge decorated for Christmas was just lovely! I will definitely return as soon as possible.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast smoothies were great! Havent seen that at other hotels! Spacious suite made me feel more at home than a typical room, for not much extra money!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were really pretty and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: But the huge amount of plastic this hotel wastes every morning is disgusting. You have to eat from plastic plates with plastic cutlery and drink out of plastic cups. That’s the reason why I wouldn‘t visit this hotel again. I paid 300$ for 2 nights and didn‘t even get real cutlery/plates/...

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool area with hot tub and fire feature was amazing! We may have to take another stay-cation there just to enjoy the facilities :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this hotel last minute to as a place to crash before our older child's early morning camp pick up. I asked them to make sure the sofabed sheets were in the room as I'd need to put my younger child straight into bed (arriving after 11 pm) - when we got to the room the sofa was already made! What's more, in the morning at the delicious breakfast the hotel was using paper straws, compostable cups and plates. If other hotels would follow suit it would make a remarkable difference for our world. The hotel is right off the interstate but due to how it is situated you do not hear the road noise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location if you need to be close to airport. Shuttle runs 24 hrs a day and it is only a 5 minute ride to Asheville airport. Stores and restaurants nearby. Room was clean and very comfortable.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Asheville River Cabins in Arden, you'll be 4 mi (6.5 km) from Asheville Outlets and 12.5 mi (20.2 km) from Grey Eagle. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a cute little cabin. We were initially shocked at the smaller size but it ended up being just enough space. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch and looking out onto the river was a wonderful way to start and end each day.
Cons: The cabin is listed to have wifi and when you get there it shows up as one to connect to but won't allow you to connect. We contacted the owners and they said a booster was being installed on our second day but we never ended up being able to connect. It wasn't a huge problem as we spend most of our time here out and about but in the evenings it would have been nice to look up options for the next day.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to tubing and SNB. Breakfast & Pool were great. Front desk staff and shuttle services were excellent.

Curtains were very stained, hardware for pictures were on wall, but no pictures, base of toilet was somewhat nasty, ceiling in bathroom was grossly peeling and moldy. This room needs attention. Stayed here a few days prior in room 113, that room was in better condition, but the hotel is older and needs updating. There are many other hotels in the area to consider.

Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very helpful. The room was excellent and the breakfast was magnificent.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the idyllic location nestled in the hills of the Smoky mtns. Great breakfast also and the room was set up nicely. Close to Asheville and near the cute little town of Candler. Tom and Rick were very gracious hosts.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Ric and Tom are absolutely delightful hosts. They obviously love their 1885 home in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains outside Asheville, and take true pride in making sure the house is welcoming, comfortable and clean -- and that the breakfast is varied, rich and plentiful. We stayed there longer than many guests, challenging them on that breakfast variation, but they rose to it. Our room, the Mary Hoyt, was wonderfully spacious and light. And we enjoyed sitting in the living room. The old wood paneling throughout the house gives it a very warm, subdued and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't stay in the cabins, but they looked very nice as well. And the small knoll on which they've placed comfy adirondack chairs (and a fire pit) is a great place to sit and watch the sun set behind the hills.
Cons: I liked the location outside Asheville in part as we wanted to be able to access the mountains for hiking. But we did go regularly into the city ... and the "hike" there, while only about 13 minutes by car, is still a fair amount of "commuting." (We live in Europe, where one relies on walking and public transport more than on cars.) Ric and Tom were able to offer some advice re hikes, etc., but they might have a bit more information on this available for customers, as well as on Asheville goings-on, as other guests might share our schizophrenic interests in town/country. Two other minor points -- at least when the plants are in a pre-spring state, you can hear the traffic. And as rustic/romantic as a clawfoot bathtub is, it doesn't go that well with a shower curtain. Definitely good value for money -- but having spent a week there, the overall sum precludes me from a full smiley face.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely beautiful. The cabins have fantastic mountain views, with clear views of both sunrise and sunset on the opposite ridge. The staff was professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more from them!
Cons: The location near two major highways is noisy at all hours. We found one of the beds in our cabin to be too firm for our tastes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were truly spending time home away from home. We will return.
