When I turned the car in, they later hit me with a smoking fee , a cleaning fee and a concession recovery fee totaling $913 . I don’t smoke and the car was clean and turned in on time . Horrible

Was charged a crazy deposit and they kept it because they said the windshield had a less than 1cm chip for a rock and I only drove the car for 87 miles. Absolute scam.

Passenger van

Pick up is confusing, nobody there to go over the rental car for previous damage, and the same at drop off. I had to take lots of pictures and got accused of having a rock chip in windshield, witch was there before I took possession. I have no intentions to rent from Sixt ever again. The rental car had lots of previous damage and should have been repaired before it got brought back to the rental fleet. My thoughts are that Sixt does not take the safety of their customers and their passengers seriously.

Has to pay over twice again for additional cover on the instance so I was not liable in the event of an accident. This should have been mentioned before booking. Car was lovely but smelt of smoke. Customer service at pick up was poor and took over an hour to collect. Drop off was better.

Waited 55 minutes for shuttle from Denver Airport to rental office. Tried calling the office to verify a shuttle was in fact coming, waited 22 minutes on hold to speak with an out of state operator who told me a shuttle was coming. I think a driver may have called in sick. At the office when i declined the optional extra insurance they required proof of insurance to include policy number, expiration date, insurance company and agent name. No wifi available at the rental office to look up this info, but the agent did help me connect to a Hotspot to find the required info, so at least that was helpful. Getting the car took aprox 45 minutes between waiting my turn, tracking down ins info, etc. Cost an extra $20/day because I was leaving the state, would be nice to have known that when making the booking. The car at least was fine, no issues there.

It was booked without the insurance that I required to drive away. I consequently had to pay an additional £85 on pickup in order to get the car. Thereby invalidating the claimed price. Since kayak, booked through Expedia, which booked through routes, which actually just booked through europcar, no one there had any idea why they let the booking happen at all. Surely this is a problem. Can I have my money back for false advertising? Cheers

First things first, the price was great for the rental, no complaints there. The car we got was a little dirty inside, the seats needed cleaning and the car had 70000 miles on it, but again, overall, great car for the value. Also the off airport location was a little inconvenient, but worth the cost savings. Lots more paperwork than the major car rental companies as well, but we got through it.

They didn't refund the deposit and told me that everything was fine when I returned the car. I contact them two days later to ask why is the deposit not refunded yet and they told me that the car was dirty. Of course, that's a lie and it wasn't dirty (you can even see it on the pictures taken when I returned the car). Basicaly, they are scammers and also the horn and the radio wasn't working.

I made the reservation online. When I arrived in person, the employees notified me of, "a policy change this week from our CEO" and that I must have a credit card, not debit card, for the deposit. They could not let me take the car without it, and would not refund my reservation. They were very unhelpful at suggesting anything that could help me at 10:30pm on a Sunday evening. The shuttle driver very kindly drove me to another rental car location so I could attempt to rent a car from another company. Completely unacceptable to take a reservation, not allow me to rent the car, and then deny a refund. I will be seeking other methods of getting the reservation refunded. I will absolutely never consider renting from Routes again for any reason.

Disappointed they did not have ANY cars in the class I booked which was compact suv. They do not have Any Toyotas on the lot. Had a TON of Jeep Cherokee vehicles that they tried to "upgrade" me to. I specifically booked a compact suv for gas/mpg purposes. So instead I had to settle for a sedan, which I was not happy about. Also, no where in booking did it say cars can only drive to states that touch/ border Colorado. However, there is a sign at the counter that displays that information as the cars have GPS & you will be fined $500+ if you go beyond those restrictions. That is crucial information customers need to know at the time of booking.

Contracted for a full tank of gas but was given a tank 3/4 full. Was able to get them to agree to taking the car back with 3/4 tank and have the fuel charge removed. Now need to monitor my Credit Card account to see that it charges correctly. Otherwise the car was clean and performed as expected.

Cons:

Had to make a change to reservation. Removed 1 day from reservation and enterprise jacked up the price over $100 for 3 less days. Terrible company. I will never use enterprise again. Canceled reservation. I was told that a price increase was because of increased demand. They are liars. They don't care about their customers only care about ripping them off.

Pros:

Helpful and friendly staff. Kelly kept in touch with me the week before and up to my reservation date. The checkout was quick and easy. The drop-off was after hour and was just as simple. I will continue to use Enterprise as my rental company.

Cons:

Honestly, everything went better than I thought it would. Keep up the great work at the Aurora, Co. center on E 6th Ave.
