Pros:The Avis representatives were excellent.
Pros:Once we actually got the car all went fairly well save how uncomfortable the Nissan Juk was after only an hour driving.
Cons:Only ONE agent at rhe desk when a number of flights arrived. She had issues with the one rental customer she was serving which led to an immediate backup from everyone arriving. Saw 4 other agents wandering around for at least 15 minutes before 2 finally bellied up to the desk to help the people in line. We were 3rd in line and it STILL took an hour after lining up before we finally got to the agent at the desk. For a LARGE International airport location that is just Not acceptable. After that it went fairly quick because we had reservations. The Nissan Juk is by far the most uncomfortable car we've ever rented. On a short haul with mountain roads it might be a fun car to drive but on freeway it's a hard ride.
Cons:the tire air pressure light came on saying my pressure was low. this got me a little flustered. I went to gas station and had someone put air in all tires for me. I did not want to get a flat on way to airport.
Cons:We had to wait in line for the better part of an hour at pickup.
Pros:Car available without online reservation required.
Cons:Took at least a half an hour for car seats to arrive. Then after loading kids and all our stuff, we turned on the engine and it said maintenance required. Had to get another car and then wait for car seats again. Wish they had upgraded us to a bigger or nicer vehicle for all the trouble. Whole thing took about hour and a half to finally get us on the road.
Pros:I loved my rental car! It was exactly what i requested.
Cons:They tried to charge me for an extra hour at $90 even though I turned it in an hour early. They didn't even say anything about it just printed the receipt and acted like nothing had changed.
Cons:The two hour wait at pick up was RIDICULOUS. Avis has TERRIBLE customer service.
Pros:Car was clean and reliable
Cons:At pickup I waited in the line for over 1 hour. When finally reaching a customer service rep I was told my full size car was not available but they would give me a Prius at no additional charge. I didn't want a Prius, but she continued to "sell me on the idea" that it was a free upgrade and that I should take it. She finally relented and offered the car I originally reserved, however, she continued to try and sell me a host of upgrades. When I left the counter the line was still over 1 hour long. No other counter had these lines. I would NEVER rent from Avis again.
Pros:Very easy and convenient at both airport locations
