Pros:Car I eventually got was new & clean. Drop off was fast & convenient. Having shuttle to terminal is great.
Cons:When arriving from terminal it is not clear where to go for Hertz. Then, it's not clear which line to get in. Then, it's not clear where to get in line again close to where cars are. Finally, no one asked me what type of car I wanted. I was given a 8 seat car that was supposed to be midsize. We were only 3. I had to go back on line, which both times was a very long wait, and finally was told to pick a car I wanted. Which I was happy about. But this whole process took over an hour. You need more people serving the line & it doesn't make sense to have us go through 2 lines.

Cons:After a long flight and standing in a horrendous line at Hertz airport counter, we were abruptly told that our car was not actually at the airport! False advertising all the way. We had to secure a taxi to travel to our rental car. At this location there was another horrendous line. One guy slowly worked the counter while five or six guys in Herrz shirts strolled around. Disgusted. Third bad experience with Hertz. First bad experience with Kayak. As someone who travels quite a bit, I will definitely rethink before using either company again.

Pros:Car was clean and worked fine
Cons:Pickup was a mess! Car was at Airport Way location....not the airport...and was closed when we arrived! So we got a car from airport from a grouchy woman...but had to pay more....then she sent is to the wrong stall. Dropoff was lame too.....couldnt find a gas station anywhere near...so just went to dropoff...guess what...$9 a gallon! So I left to go fill up 3 miles away.

Pros:We worked with Fatima in SF and she was awesome!!! After a long flight Fatima met us with a smile.
