I did not like it at all. Kayak is only a front runner for another corporation that takes your money and I never got a car when I got to my destination and I haven't gotten all my money back yet. I did not understand that you're not really going to kayak kayak is just looking for cars for somebody else who may or may not get your car for you. I didn't like the experience at all and I never got my money back from kayak. I only got partial funds back from a corporation called QEEQ there you go.Reviewed Nov 6 2025

Drop off at St. Pete airport. Charge was higher than told at pick up in Georgia. Dropping off vehicle signs pointed me to budget. There was no customer service there although all of the other rental agencies had one. I wandered around looking for budgets. I went into the airport to budget. friendly agent, good price; only minor complaint was exit process from rental car center; lanes were poorly labeled and very backed up; I don't think most people realized that they could use the QR-code rapid exit lane; would be helpful to explain this to people so that they can get out quickly!Reviewed Nov 3 2025

We had a vehicle reserved. When we got to the location we were told to have a seat even though the clerk didn’t seem to be working and there were no one else she was waiting on. After about 10 minutes, we were told she had 2 mini vans for us even though we had reserved an SUV. The vans were in pretty bad conditions for rental vehicles. Then we tried to make a debit card payment and it wouldn’t go through. It clearly says on Kayak that Debit cards are accepted. So we called the corporate office to prepay. They took a payment from us and said they were putting the deposit on that as well but that wasn’t true. We tried to call back and were told the corporate office could not take a deposit payment. Now it’s after 5:00 and the worker who asked us to sit tells us she has to get her kids. So we had the reservation switched to the airport location. The person at the corporate office said we would be good to go. When we got there, they asked us for our flight number and told us, we couldn’t rent a car without one. In the end, we used my car. All of this was happening while we were trying to get to Louisiana the following morning for my mom’s funeral. To say the least, this was a very stressful situation. The only thing it taught us was we would not be trying Budget in the future.Reviewed Nov 2 2025
