I got flat out denied to rent a vehicle due to not having a credit card with a high enough limit but plenty of money via debit card to cover anything necessary. Rental car companies take debit cards and have zero issues. I provide a deposit, all money for the rental, rental car insurance, etc. How is it that my credit rating is any concern? I can literally pay you up front, my driving history is practically spotless. I have no criminal history. Why can I not rent a car? If it wasn’t for Jerry at Avis and approval from management, I would’ve been stranded during a move. STL area has no vehicles to rent outside the airport and you can’t do the same processes you can at a non airport location. I had to rent a second vehicle from 2 hours away to finish my trip. Worked with a young lady named Heaven out of St Louis airport Budget rental. They had problems getting the transaction to go through so offered an upgrade. Only there 15min or so and left with a very nice vehicle. Always good when a company looks to make customers happy.Reviewed Apr 7 2024

Better checking in procedures as passengers come in. They should be giving a number of something, said that they don't cut lines and people have to stand in line for hours waiting to check out, and the buddies come around holding the spots and checking in causing hazards.
