Waited in a 1.5 hour line to pick up the car. Car was great and everything else was fine.

Budget was overbooked and was not able to fulfill our reservation. We ended up having to rent from another company.

Price was the draw and at least the counter was still open and they had a car despite our much delayed arrival. Bad news: ridiculous wait to get the car (40 mins) and was not informed that car had significant crack in the windshield. Fortunately someone had written what was an apparently indecipherable note regarding this issue on a side window so we didn’t need to worry about paying for it.

My issue is with the third party that kayak uses to book with budget. I had an issue with the pick up, couldn't get the car, their offices are in Hong Kong, and I still have not received my full refund.

Budget upcharged us $691 for a change in drop-off site , after telling us that there would be no additional charge. Speaking with them yielded no refund. we are now going to our state's attorney general and the Better Business Bureau for help. BEWARE.
