Location, price Unclean carpeting (made our feet black!)
This was the third time we have stayed at the Cedar City Knights Inn. It is perfect for one night stop over. The The only negative is that there is only one ice machine at the end of the building.
Oh my, where to begin?! I had such a relaxing stay that I wish everywhere were as great! It was a terrific experience from the moment Charity greeted me at the front desk, to the moment I discovered I had the option to using their sauna, hot tub, swimming pool, or eating at their attached resraurant. But the real amazement occurred when I walked into my room and was floored by the square footage, full bath, vanity, fridge and microwave, super comfy bed and pillows and soft linens, and sofa. I heard baby crying next door and the parking lot was slippery without being prepared with proper winter attire.
Room was comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The WIFI did not work in my room. Called the front desk and they gave me a number to call instead of taking care of the problem. Even after I called problem was never fixed.
The staff seemed friendly, the room was quiet, the pillows were good, and the WiFi worked. Breakfast was average. The room number on the door was a piece of paper that was taped over the previous chain's room number plaque. Apparently Ramada bought the hotel back in October and hasn't bothered to actually switch the room plaques in 8 months, so the tape holding on the paper covers is no longer sticky and they are flapping in the wind. The pipes rattled in the wall every time I turned on the sink. The shower curtain had a tear in it. The bathroom in the lobby was filthy, and they had a glade air freshener setting on the counter to attempt to cover the scent. In the breakfast area, part of the floor is uneven and not adhered to the floor properly, so I nearly tripped moving through the area.
Room was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Full free breakfast was good. Price was reasonable. Air conditioning unit is noisy and interrupted sleep as it came on and off during the night.
Nothing the place was a dump. Hot tub was broke the owner was like it's cold and has no intention on fixing it. They rebooked my room in the middle of the first night so I had a visitor. I thought $60 a night was cheap for a ramada well now I know why.
Accommodations were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. The outside was a little run down and the pool was out of service.
It was nice and quiet and very clean.
The saft was very good to work with was willing to help me when I ask. The roon was very clean and was well kep, but the bed was shot. I believe it is time to change. I would stay there again but would check the bed out first. We stayed in room 123.
T v remote did not work. Called office suggestions from them how to fix it did not work. Did not bring another to see if it would work.
Helpful staff allowed me to fill up our 6 gallon water canister for camping and allowed us to keep our bicycles in our room for the night. The rooms were very clean and the pool was nice. The complimentary hot breakfast was lacking. The breakfast burritos were not very good and the waffle mix didn't taste very good either. I ended up having cereal.
Comfortable bed, easy access from freeway. Could have been a little more cleaner in bathroom
Comfortable, clean , great room for the money
Basic, low-cost hotel room. The plumbing is noisy. When the other room uses the shower or toilet, you really hear it.
The price was good for the time of year. The only reason I picked this hotel to stay at is because the pictures show and indoor pool and spa and that was not the case once we checked in.
The location is convenient to down town. Continental breakfast was good and well stocked throughout the breakfast time period. The were under construction so getting around was sometimes difficult. I booked three nights, but my key card was only programmed for one night when I first checked in.
Clean, newly renovated rooms. Room was on the small side and because it is an older property it had a musty smell.
My friend and I stayed here for the night on our way to Brian Head resort. The hotel was easy to find. Check in was quick and easy. The room was small, but cozy. I rated them one less star on cleanliness, only because the cleaner forgot to throw away the bar of soap in the shower from the previous guest. I would stay here again if we go back to Brian Head.
Staff worked with me to get the room that I wanted. Staff missed cleaning room one of our three days.
I had to cancel my appt. because of a family emergency. I agree that I should have been charged the first nite but certainly not the second. Rip off. I'll never use kayak again.
Staff was polite and welcoming, answered any questions I had regardingy visit to the national parks. It was a bit farther from Zion National Park than I expected, a solid hour drive - but a beautiful drive so can't complain too much.
We liked our room. It was small but efficient and pleasantly decorated with nice colors, comfortable bed. It was very clean. We liked the tile shower with glass door. The lamps had extra places for electrical plugs for computers and cell phones, nice :). The breakfast in the morning was good and included hard boiled eggs for protein. I think there might have been yogurt too. The toilet was clogged when we got to the room. We called the front desk and they brought a plunger and my husband fixed it, not a problem!
Friendly, helpful front desk and a great breakfast.
Good location, afftordable Mattress was thin.
There was a fridge & microwave. It was a good price. OJ and donuts in the morning. We were able to get in late at night. Lots of cable channels and internet--even though slow connection. The internet was slow (although it might not even have been advertised as available.). The microwave wasn't plugged in and was hard to plug in. The worker/owner was a bit gruff/brusque when I went back to check for a receipt (apparently, he'd given me one upon check-in but wasn't too helpful when I inquired again).
Cheap Breakfast is only 2 choices of cereal & boxed donuts
WiFi. The room was simple and clean. Good room for the price (about USD 30) The neighbourhood was not the best
I didn't like that my check in time was at 3 pm and no one was there to check me in and I had to wait an hour for him to come back. Very unprofessional. I won't try to save a couple of dollars on a no name hotel anymore
Comfortable bed. Paint not in good condition on bathroom.
It was clean and nice. Worked grea for us
big room and big bed. free wifi and good location. the worsrt breakfast ever but nice staff.
Simple, clean, smelled fresh, nice pillows, location No. Met our needs
Getting into the room was easy and quick. Checking out was just as fast. Would have been nice to have shampoo in the room but this would not stop us from staying here again
I liked that it was easy to find, close to the freeway, and close to several restaraunts. I liked the price which was affordable and main reason I booked a room at this hotel. Very noisey. Could hear the toilet flush in the room next door
The helpfulness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. Wish the room had a mini fridge but otherwise facilities were good.
When we left. The beds were worn out and needed to be replaced. The bathroom was odd shaped and less functional due to he shape.
