Any detail of rental car fee
Pros: I have not received any detail of rental car fee. When I booked on the Internet, it was only 96$ for two days. I picked up the car and the fee was 114$. But my credit car showed that the fee was 154$. So I need the detail of fee. Thank you.

Picking up away from the airport to save money
Pros: We chose to take a half hour uber ride to pick up our car in order to save some money. Here is what I learned: At a more remote site, despite being promised a small four-door car, all they had were pick- up trucks and a fiat. There would have been many more choices at the airport. We started with the fiat and had to go back and swap the next day because the storage area in a fiat will accommodate a toothbrush and not much more. They tried to charge me for an upgrade, but backed down very easily without me getting angry, and we drove a very comfortable minivan for the duration of our trip.

Good luck getting that deposit back.
Pros: Honestly, very little about this experience was enjoyable.
Cons: It's been over a week, and despite assurance from Enterprise corporate as well as a rep from the local office who is "going to take care of this for me right now," I've yet to get my deposit back from my 5-hour rental.
The car's seatbelt alarm went off THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS DRIVING. Yes, the seatbelt was buckled. Yes, ALL of the seatbelts. Yes, I tried unbuckling, re-buckling, unbuckling, restarting the car, etc etc. Enterprise is completely unavailable after hours unless your car is not running or on fire, apparently.
Trash? In the car? Really? Sure, guess I'll take care of that, since I'll get dinged for it if I leave it.
Speaking of dings: when the gentlemen walked me around the vehicle before giving me the keys so I could "inspect" for damages, he didn't bother noting any of it down. Dents? Scuffs? Scratches? "Nah, it's fine, honestly if it's smaller than a golf ball we don't worry about it." Sure. Okay.
I returned after-hours, and unfortunately, the parking lot was poorly lit to the point that I felt extremely uncomfortable in the five minutes it took to filli out the key-return sign-off sheet.
The entire experience was really poor. I've rented a lot of cars in my time, and I know few rental companies are perfect, but this was just miserable.

Pros: Employee was friendly, offered an upgrade which we declined. Vehicle was clean, comfortable and drove well. Return went smoothly. We will use Enterprise again!

Service fine, bad alignment.
Pros: I had some concerns about my rental van, including a tolerable but definitely present stain on the ceiling and a shimmy that became obvious at speeds above 60mph, neither of which I was aware of until I had started a one-way, multi-state drive. The clerk at the Kirkland office was completely agreeable and made a note of both on my account.
Cons: While I'm sure it is difficult to diagnose all maintenance issues on all vehicles in the fleet, I was disappointed that I was given a van with a pretty obvious alignment problem to drive across 2/3 of the country. I also noticed the front tires were pretty worn, indicating an alignment issue that should have been caught prior to sending it out again. I also would have stopped in at a Hertz along the way, but many reviewers warned against getting charged for damages they weren't responsible for, so I just dealt with it.

We reserved a one week rental to be picked up at the Seattle airport. When we got to the desk we were told it was not at this location....it was downtown. We asked if it could be changed to this location. The young man at the desk went through a whole routine with our drivers licenses and credit cards. He said they had to be the same as the original reservation. When we asked if the rate would be the same he said no. When we asked how much it would be he said he wouldn't know until later. He kept asking for information from us but not answering any of our questions. Said he had to wait for the computer to tell him. We finally asked to speak to his manager he said no one was available and it wouldn't make a difference. We finally walked away after spending at least 30 min and still not knowing what it would cost.
We walked to the National counter next door, spoke to a very helpful representative who got us an upgraded car at a great price within minutes....and without a reservation!

Pros: Car was fine and pickup dropoff were easy
Cons: We were informed that we had to pay an extra $14/day for a second driver. This was despite the fact that we are Auto Association members and belong to the Gold Club. This should NOT have been the case. An extra driver should have been free. In many states it is now illegal to charge for a second driver due to the safety issues. We were very disappointed with Hertz's service in regards to this.
